This place was def a treat. Their Terrain section was an absolute dream and loved all the unique plants they had and cute arrangements to have around the home. Love that you can build your own. Their store is very well thought out and it is a bit expensive but the items are well made and good quality and love the sections of the home and clothes and the kitchenware was so adorable with some of their collections they had and loved the Dog mugs they had and their martini glasses for special occasions. Their bridal area was very neat and they had some beautiful gowns for you to try on saw a few brides trying on dresses and it was def special. Can't wait to come back and snag a few items. read more

This Anthropologie is one of the most beautifully merchandised and organized stores in the Century City Mall. It is two stories and actually also includes a separate store inside for houseplants. The store is filled with many of the different kinds of women's wear from casual to dressy to athleisure to even a bridal section! I appreciate how the store is organized not only by types of clothing, but then the styling and the color coordination is spot on, even when you go to the sales and clearance room it is beautifully organized with all the clothing and accessories sorted by color and clothing type. I also had a great person helping me in the dressing area - Corinne, so lovely and kind and I could tell she was also helpful with other guests based on the warmth of her conversation with them. The only reason why I give this store four stars is because of the prices - this is not a bargain store, you are definitely going to pay some premium prices, but the pieces are all very unique and if you are looking for an outfit that you won't see at another big box store, this is a great place to check things out. Also the sale section can sometimes have additional discounts at the end of the season so definitely worth checking out . I am a big fan of their athleisure wear, it's comfy and flattering for every day wear. I've been an Anthropologie fan and loyal customer for over 20 years and the brand continues to deliver style, quality, and versatility that feel timeless. Honestly I'm generally a huge fan of Anthropologie. They have the cutest clothes (I feel like it's a fun and sophisticated brand with a wide variety). Their clothes are by no means cheap, but I view them as the long-haul closet pieces that you'll have for years to come. They also have amazing home goods, jewelry, and other nick knacks. I especially love to come here for vacation clothing. Now the reason I'm only giving a 3 for this specific location is because of the poor customer service experience my girlfriends and I had with multiple employees during our visit - I was quite shocked because this was so far off from the previous experiences I've had at countless stores. I know anthropology employees generally always go above and beyond to create a warm and welcoming environment so this was very uncharacteristic. Granted perhaps they were having a rough day or the team was understaffed or something (so not naming names or the day I was there) but while waiting in line for the dressing room/while trying on clothes we had two very poor interactions with two separate employees who seemed less than thrilled to be there. One individual literally walked away mid conversation after inquiring for assistance in the dressing room. We ended up leaving without making any purchases because it had left a bad taste in our mouths. I'm still a diehard anthropology fan, just might be avoiding this location in the future unless I'm in the area already. read more

I came here to shop for my wedding dress and this was by far the best shopping experience I've had! My stylist, Esther, was so helpful and friendly. She made me feel very comfortable since I was all in my head about not being able to make a decision. She's also extremely knowledgeable in the dresses, fabric, alteration considerations and provided excellent suggestions based on my wedding location. I ended up picking a dress that I wouldn't have picked out on my own but solely based on her recommendation! All the dresses are so gorgeous and great price. I just got my dress in the mail and it fit me like a glove despite going with a size that I am not used to but Esther really measured it right. So thankful! read more

Hot tip #1: If you need styling help like I do, go find Abby! She's the manager and really knows the inventory. She's the perfect person to help me upgrade my wardrobe. She's got big sister vibes and really good at listening to what you need. Hot tip #2: if it's your birthday, go treat yourself with that 20% discount all month long. This perk really makes it easier for me to feel cute for my April birthday. Um, I splurged on the backlog of things I needed, like the sun hat fedora (see photo) and a crossbody satchel. Hot tip #3: If you're petite like me, Abby is also! So she really understands what shapes or styles can flatter us. Let's not drown in too much flowy fabric, even if it's pretty on the rack. I know I don't want to look like I drowned in a parachute. Hot tip #4: I check the sales rack first. Found some fun flowy cargo pants that are the wrong color for me, but bc it's an almond color, I can get it dyed to my fave colors at Suay Sew Shop. Hot tip #5: Look at the mannequins for the best stuff (I love my new fedora!) or ask the staff for what you're looking for! They might just have it somewhere. I miss the Anthro at the Grove but stylin' staff people like Abby make this worth the drive to Century City. Find who on staff gets you, and they will give their honest support on what looks good on you or not. I'm terrible at shopping for clothes on line bc I really just need to try it on in the store. Parking tip: Choose to park near the Bloomingdale's elevator or Gelson's so you don't get lost in this ridiculously big garage. read more

The service and employees here are horrible. I love the clothes but I will never come here again. No one will help you find things. They tell you that they are out of stock even though their website said this specific location had four more in stock. I eventually found the allegedly out of stock item and wanted to try it on. I watched an employee drag it on the floor across the store to the fitting room. I used to think Anthropologie was a great store but who wants to spend money with service like that?? Scheduling an appointment online was super easy. Parking at the mall can get pricey after the 1st hour. We arrived at the store, were offered water and champagne, and were met with Zelda the stylist, who was absolutely delightful! She asked me some questions about my style preferences, the wedding, etc, and we picked out 4 dresses to try on. The appointment is for 1hr, however since I was the last one of the day (6:30pm) I was able to stay a little longer and try on another 1-2 styles. It's worth noting that I did not feel pressured or time limited for even a second. Within that time frame, Zelda was extremely kind and professional. With each style she brought out some accessories to compliment the dress and it was so helpful to see what the overall look could look like and get an idea on how to accessorize. It felt like I was bridal shopping with an extra friend, and as someone who's been to some other bridal shops this was an above and beyond experience for me. Oh and, the dresses are BEAUTIFUL, high quality and relatively affordable. Production + shipping time is definitely way faster than most shops. I haven't decided on a dress yet but it's in my top 3. I am absolutely appalled at the qyality of a pair of Pilcro jeans I purchased at Anthropologie. I put them in the washing machine and washed and dried them as per the instructions. I wore them a few days later and the dye came off on my beautiful, expensive beige leather purse and the top of my leather shoes. I only hope that the leather cleaners can clean them or else they are ruined and will have to be thrown away. I called the store and they said the manager would call me back - I never heard from them. I then did not realize that after putting the jeans in the dryer (as per the label) they would leave a residue in my dryer. As a result the next load I put in the dryer after those jeans came out all had areas with blue dye on them. More ruined clothing. I then decided to put the jeans in the wash basin and here are pictures to show you my awful experience. I can no longer trust anything that Anthropologie sells as I don't want to ruin any more of my accessories or clothing. I'm also very disappointed that no one called back. Those jeans not only cost me the price of the jeans but a purse, a pair of shoes and garments ruined in the dryer as well. read more

I was saying in Beverly Hills for a few days and decided to pop in and check out the multi-level Anthro store especially excited to see the Terrain shop. Im an avid Anthropologie shopper and make a stop in whenever I can. I was mostly in to pick up some candles and gifts for the holidays and do a return. The store did not disappoint it was incredibly beautiful and had lots to chose from. However I was not spoken to but followed around the entire store primarily by 2 different women especially around the sales section. There were other people shopping and they were greeting other people just not me. When I went to finally checkout the guy at the counter didn't say anything after I said hi, how are you??? So much for holiday cheer. Definitely not returning to this location read more

I'm an Anthro fan but this huge flagship store doesn't do it for me. Sure, it has all the extras with a BHLDN and even a plant shop and the sales people greet you when you walk in which is nice and it's also conveniently located in the mall but bigger is not always better when it comes to shopping, imho. This location just feels too overwhelming for me. Also, I don't think they even have fitting rooms on the bottom floor which is inconvenient. And the sale section, which is my favorite section at Anthro, is upstairs all the way in the back with a giant, fat pole in the middle which makes it super inconvenient to shop there, especially if there are other people also browsing in that section. It's also quite a small selection. Even though it has all the bells and whistles, this location is probably my least favorite. So sad they closed the one at the Grove. read more

I don't usually review retail stores but man, oh, man was I excited when this store opened up at my fave mall which happens to be down the street from where I live! This anthro has a BHLDN as well so you have a 1 stop shop. But it doesn't end there... they have the terrain ( refer to my picture) it is a room full of absolute nature goodness. Plants, decor, handmade candles and more. So beautiful ! The whole store in itself is fully stocked with all brand new items and kept so tidy. I can't wait to visit during black Friday ... their sales during that time are the BEST!!! read more

This is the best Anthro I have been to. Not only is it WAY bigger than usual, the product selection is top notch. They have a large denim section with some of my favorite brands like Mother, Citizens & Paige. I also even spotted a top from Cami NYC which is another personal favorite of mine. I haven't shopped at Anthro as much as I use to because I feel the brand has lost their uniqueness and quality over the years. BUT this location may make me want to keep it in my shopping rotation. Be careful if you are considering purchasing furniture or home products from Anthropologie. They look great but the quality is something else as is their help if there is a problem. I purchased a $4,000 sofa which was defective. The velvet upholstery stretched until it rolled, partially because the seat sank so much. I live alone so it was not due to a lot of use or excessive abuse. The sofa is only a little over one years old! Anthropologie would do nothing. I also purchased two different patterns of lined curtain panels which have faded significantly from the sun and they are not even one years old. I have not contacted them regarding the panels as I feel they could care less. I am a senior on a fixed income and I sure can't afford to replace these items. They all look like they where purchased from a low end used furniture store. I am so disappointed and sad. I love the look of their products and have shopped there for years but I won't any more. I used to like some of the clothes at Anthropologie, but now a lot of their merchandise seems like stuff you'd find in a thrift shop, at six times the price. Their clothes are boho and girly, with lots of ruffles and puffed sleeves. Not really my style. But if you're reading this, you're probably a fan of Anthropologie, so I'll just let you know this particular location is annoying to shop in. First, it's on the top floor of the Century City mall and there are no stairs, escalators or elevators that lead right to it, so that's inconvenient. Second, the store itself contains three flights of stairs, which you pretty much have to climb if you want to see more than a handful of merchandise. Third, and most annoying, the clothes are spread out over several maze-like rooms without any obvious categorization. They're also interspersed with home goods, cosmetics, even baby clothes. As a result, you're kind of forced to explore every nook and cranny of the store. You can't just walk in and go, "Where are the sweaters?" or "I just want to see jeans." If you enjoy wandering and picking through things, like at a flea market, then you'll love this store. (In fact, I heard that Anthropologie was designed to imitate a Parisian flea market.) But if you're an efficient, surgical shopper like me (and you'd rather die than be seen in puffed sleeves), you'll hate this store. read more

I have to be honest I was preparing myself for the usual non interested sales team. I found a location where the staff are helpful and essential to helping you find the right fit and style for you. Star was amazing! I also found out she was a stylist and appeared to be in high demand. She helped me find some great items for my NY trip. I didn't hear comments later from co workers that though what I had on was too big but that they liked it as much as I do. I missed this level of service that is no longer found at the Glendale or The Grove and I have been their a billion times to not even notice that I have been a weekend 10:00 regular for a few years monthly. read more

Terrible customer service, I was at the Century City mall on a Thursday afternoon... the store was completely empty. I went upstairs looking for Voluspa candles. Not one employee said hello or asked if I needed any help. Finally, I found the $30 candle I was looking for and went downstairs to the cashier. There was one customer ahead of me paying for the items and only one cashier working. I stood there for 10 minutes and she didn't acknowledge my existence... not a hey I'll be with you in a minute or anything. Finally I said screw this put down the candle and walked out. I'll never go back, it was a total joke. The employees at this store are incompetent and arrogant.
