I had to come visit for a second time. I had such a phenomenal first time experience I had to visit again. The drinks here are delicious and I made it just in time for the last serving of the Oatmilk Hibiscus Matcha that was only on the menu for a selective time. I was greeted with a warm welcome once I walk inside. I then place my order with Eric who was very nice and welcoming. Overall 10/10 experience. Support small businesses owners. You won't be disappointed with the service and Ofcourse with the delicious food menu and drink menu.

Great spot. Delicious coffee and friendly owner! I got the sweet plantain latte and inhaled it! Also got some griot to go. It was cooked so well. The red pikliz were tasty too. Will def be coming back

The word vibe is an understatement. The music Playlist got me bopping in my seat while working on my laptop. I ordered the saltfish Bahn mi. Ive always loved saltfish being around a lot of west Indian friends. And this was a clean and lovely play on. There was a wonderful cabbage pickling slaw that had a hint of pepper. It worked wonderfully with the sweetness of the baguette. I was hesitant on the plantain creme brulee but the subtle flavors was phenomenal. There was a carmalized plantain to garnish that was the "cherry on top" I will definitely return! Got to meet the part owner, Eric who very welcoming and he was great explaining dishes. You can truly taste his passion for food. Looking forward to their wine bar opening up next door and trying more food items.

That's a nice cute café in Flatbush. The service was nice. It was very pleasant. I did go in the morning time so what I wanted they didn't have but what I got was good. I had got their vegetable soup which was delicious so I am excited to go back and taste more of their food. Their citronade is amazing. Is one of the best drinks I ever drank. I felt like I was drinking a lemon cream popsicle so freaking good. I was just go there for a cup alone. It was amazing but I do recommend this place. It's a small business and I would like to see them drive because the food and service was pleasant

There is truly so much to love about Antilles Cafe! I've been following this small business for some time on social media and finally got a chance to go while visiting my old neighborhood. I love their concept -- one island -- Haitian and Dominican fusion! Eric, one of the owners, welcomed me immediately and made me feel right at home. He recommended the saltfish bahn mi which I enjoyed and I washed that down with a Haitian lemonade. The space itself has touches of Haiti and DR and they also have some cool merch. I can't wait to come back again with friends. Looking forward to trying their griot!

This cafe is a lovely addition to the neighborhood and I'm so glad I got to meet the owner and hear about how Antilles Cafe came to be. Recently I posted up for a few hours at Antilles Cafe with a friend for a work session and I was in love with this place! The cafe part is small (although its bar next door is bigger) but it was just enough room for 2 people to share a table with laptops. In total there were 4 - 5 two seater tables inside and a few outside. While there I ordered the Tostones and Citronade (Haitian Lemonade) with Espresso. I loved both and I wish I took some of the Tostones sauce to go, missed opportunity smh. Overall I had a wonderful time and can't wait to visit again. Hopefully next time, the Chef / Owner decides to bless us non-pork eaters by putting Tasso on the menu (because the griot smelled divine lol).

What makes me give this place 5 stars isn't even so much the food (although that is very good) but the stellar service. I met one of the owners and he's such a genuine, nice guy that is clearly so passionate about his food and his business that it just makes you feel good about coming here. I have tried a decent portion of the menu by this point and everything is delicious. The Griot and Pikliz (fried pork and cabbage slaw) is good; my favorite part was actually the cabbage, it was seasoned SO well and really cut through the fattiness of the pork, and I wish the dish came with more of it. I'm not normally the biggest fan of green plantains (prefer sweet) but the tostones were absolutely delicious with the accompanying sauce. The saltfish Banh mi has to be my favorite tho, it's their most popular dish for a reason. Now on to the drinks-- I tried their famed plantain brûlée latte which was yummy and decadent, but to my surprise my favorite drinks actually turned out to be their non-coffee drinks. The citronade combined a bunch of flavors that I didn't think would mesh that well (vanilla, almond, citrus) but it really came together in a delicious and unique way. I highly highly recommend the morir sonando, which basically tastes like the best creamsicle ever in drink form.

I've been here 2 times and it's finally time to share. Why am I gate keeping an amazing restaurant in the Flatbush area. The first time I went was on my birthday and the timing is everything. They make everything fresh in the same room as you so go when you are hungry not starving. The weekends are the busiest time my advice go early or during the weekday for comfortable seating. You can bring your laptop or a book to enjoy it is a welcoming environment. The food yucca fries a must!!!!!!!!!!!! I've only ever had the Dominican breakfast sandwich - Frikitaki! it's so good I can't try anything else. The Plantain Brûlée Latte!!! Obsessed!!! Breakfast and desert in a glass!!!

I've been trying to come here forever and I'm so happy I was able to check out the spot! These spot is very small with limited seating, but I feel like that speaks to the homie vibe that they're trying to maintain. The waiter was very attentive and was able to adhere to all of the guests in the establishment. I had to try their popular plantain crème brûlée latte. He did recommend it cold, but I'm a hot girly lol I did wish it was a little bit sweeter throughout the drink, but it was still good 8/10. I also got the Sancocho which was the perfect soup I needed on such a cold day. It was very flavorful had a variety of ground food and It was a great portion 10/10. I'll definitely be back to stopping in.

Okay wow, what a cute place!! To be honest, I came here based off of reviews alone (so they really are powerful). It took me a little while to get Julissa, the waitress/cashier's attention, but I try not to hold that against people because I know how much goes into closing a cafe. Additionally, Julissa was incredibly kind, curious, and attentive the rest of the time I was there. She also has the kind of sweet and positive attitude that comes with being a naturally kind person. I don't take those first impressions lightly. I ordered the plantain brûlée latte, not even knowing that it's virtually famous here and it's so easy to see why: LOOK AT IT. This was a beautiful latte, well worth $8. It was perfectly sweet, and the crispy, crunchy, carmelized plaintains (?) on top were simply genius. I also ordered tostones ($6) which were also divine. I really loved the mayo aioli they came with! It was clear that this place was a true community. The owner was welcoming and comfortable with regulars. It was really refreshing. The food really sang a cultural song and I'm actually excited to go back and try more!

Ambiance and vibes 100/10. I absolutely love that they close late (10 pm) so I can have an admin day. I came here with a girlfriend and we literally spent the whole day here catching up. We had the oat milk hibiscus matcha which was good. We came on a Sunday and had the soup special and let me tell you....that bowl of soup blew me away. Now it is a bit pricey for soup but delicious. Definitely become a neighborhood fave. Looking forward to trying the plantain brûlée latte!

The space is beautiful and very well decorated, and the servers were kind and knowledgeable about the menu. I ordered the djon djon rice bowl with oxtail, the fritay platter, and soup joumou, and we also tried the Sunday special with white rice and sos pwa. My dish came out after everyone else's, so I ended up taking it to go, which was disappointing. The fritay platter was a highlight. The plantains were crispy and the akra and marinade were well seasoned. My mom enjoyed her soup, but felt the sos pwa was a bit watery and could have been thicker. When I got home, the rice had a great texture but the aroma smelled slightly burnt, maybe they were going for a smoky flavor. The oxtail was well flavored, but I did find a small piece of plastic in my rice, which was concerning. Overall it was okay, but it did not blow me away. I have had better Haitian food at cookouts or family gatherings, though if this is your first time trying Haitian food, you may enjoy it.

The drinks were also simple, very light and yummy - not too sweet. The vibes of the restaurant were also very cute and dimly lit (but not too dim). The food came out fairly quickly and was delicious especially when you paired it with their side sauce. Don't let the ambiance fool you…read more Macaroni Au Gratin is bland with consistency of imitation cheese whiz? I can't put my finger on it but it didn't have a flavor of ANY blend of natural cheeses. I'd know, I'm a cheese connoisseur! Perhaps they use imitation cheese. Simply put, their macaroni au gratin is inauthentic as in no veggies (onions, bell peppers) nor ham or ground beef used either. At least the Diri Djon Djon and Lalo was decent. I've had better Salad Russe. It was either missing onions or salt. The condiment cup of Pikliz is shorter and smaller than the usual 1.5 oz. Most restaurants provide sizes 2 oz and larger and that's how I was able to tell the difference. I never even knew those solo dipping cups came any smaller! Probably so you can ask for more so they can charge extra. Not only do they make sure to cut corners on the Pikliz. Which wasn't even enough to mask their thick, brown, over-fried, DRY and STALE bannann peze that has been sitting out. After they cut the plantains they don't soak in salted water. Bannann peze SHOULD NOT be so thick, should be made-to-order and served hot, fresh, golden and crispy. Just look at their photos and see for yourselves compared to other bannann peze / tostones you've eaten / seen. Then to ask if I need utensils for a to-go order? No ma'am, I'll be using my fingers and eating out of my hands today, thanks for asking. Don't ask, just automatically include utensils in the bag for the astronomic amount you charge for your food. Chain restaurants or even mom & pops all simply include utensils and napkins when preparing to-go orders. Only time to get away with that is when delivering. At which most times customer may decline since they're home / work and may already have those items. Price point - garbage for side of macaroni au gratin I'll let you all be surprised for yourselves on the rest on menu. * If anyone gave this restaurant 5 stars... they're obviously not Haitian and/or their tastebuds are shot.

The bar seats were comfy and I was on my phone. There was also loud reggae music playing from the other room, so I was jammin. I got home and dug into my food and it was almost perfect. The griot was delicious. Just crunchy enough on the outside and tender on the inside. The black rice was a little disappointing, but nothing major. I love black rice, but it lacked flavor. Luckily they give you a side of gravy, which was tasty. I should've taken the girl at the counter up on her offer to get an extra side of gravy. I still devoured everything though.
