This is the perfect brunch spot! My mom and I went for brunch, but ended up ordering from the regular menu. We got the bourbon bacon melt and it was so good and full of flavor. It came with waffle fries. They were seasoned very well and had the perfect crunch to them. We also got the veggie quinoa bowl for a lighter option. I do think it needed a little more flavor/dressing. For our drinks, we both ordered an iced mocha with almond milk. It was yummy! Their coffee is from Bovaconti Coffee, which is one of my favorite coffee spots, so I knew it would be good. I definitely will be back to try more of their food/drinks. read more

First time going and went for brunch. Food is fantastic. Ordered jalapeño deviled eggs, French toast, and small order of biscuits and gravy. All delicious. Food portions are huge so bring your appetite. Well worth the value. Loved the ambiance as well especially with their bar setup and display. Went here last Sunday. Made a reservation for 8:45 am (they don't take reservations after 9am on weekends, so it's first come, first serve.) I had the shrimp and grits, along with a cappuccino. The cappuccino was great, but the shrimp and grits were just ok. The shrimp themselves were cooked (blackened) and seasoned well. The grits left a lot to be desired. They were funny and covered in some kind of oil that probably led to that texture. I'm used to thicker grits with shrimp and these were almost watery. I had seen other pics with the oil shown but I had taken a chance. Their decor is nice, darker interior but still welcoming. This place is gorgeous!!! We tried dinner. There was a party of eight. My husband and I tried the Breckenridge bourbon flight. I cannot recommend the Madera enough. So light. The Stout was really good and carmely. They have over 100 bourbons! We all made sure to order something different so we could try everything. It's really hard to pick a favorite. It might be the spinach and gruyere. Very rich. The cauliflower is a huge portion. The chicken and waffles is a crowd favorite. And it's a big portion as well. The candied bacon was melt in your mouth good. The chicken and the beef on slider trio was good. I hear that the Portobello one wasn't great. I wouldn't know. There's no way I would put that in my mouth. I'm good on the fungus. Oh my goodness the deserts! The crunch on the cheesecake was sooooo good! We had Marrisa for our server. She did a great job. I really really wanted to enjoy Antilogy as the south side/greenwood really needs some additional yummy places to eat. Sadly, I found it to be just ok. Situated at the end of a strip mall with Kroger at one end and Antilogy at the other you can tell they have worked hard to mask the rather warehouse like interior of a strip mall local. The chairs are comfortable and there's a variety of seating choices from half bench half seat tables to square tables to a circular couch area in the middle. We arrived about 11am on a Thursday and there were only a few tables with diners as well as a small group in the couch area talking business. I found it a bit odd when the host sat us right next to the couch area, and even a bit odder when not five minutes later the table right next to us was sat a rather loud four top. Keep in mind at this time only two other tables had diners and there was plenty of room to spread out. We ordered a mocha and a regular coffee with cream, two waters, the jalapeño deviled eggs, the club sandwich, and the Johnny cakes with smoked trout. The coffee was just ok - a tad weak for my taste but I've had worse. The deviled eggs with jalapeno and a tiny piece of sweet bacon were ok. They could have been a bit spicier and I found the sweet bacon a bit too sweet. I think serving it with a slice of lime to squeeze on top and maybe some chunky sea salt would have improved the flavor, but you could tell the eggs were not terribly freshly boiled as the had that hard gummy texture eggs get when refrigerated a bit too long. The sandwich was ok although my daughter did not like the way the bottom piece of bread became soggy for some reason while the top piece of bread was tough to bite in places.. the Johnny cakes and smoked trout were ok. A bit dry.. they really needed something else... they were served with breakfast potatoes which are just chunks of lightly salted potatoes.... Fine but maybe a little garlic would help. The Johnny cakes were very dry and while the creme drizzled on top was tasty it needed more. But, what it REALLY needed was some kind of other sauce... maybe a tart cranberry jalapeño bourbon infused jam would provide a little sweet and sour to cut the smoked fish... in all honesty add some jam and cut the amount of smoked fish in half and you'd have a better meal. The staff were fine - knowledgeable and efficient. All in all it was fine - it was ok... but I will probably find another place for my next mid-week brunch date... read more

For date night we decided on Antiology and they did not disappoint. Too many times we've visited similar restaurants and their food was subpar. We ordered the Johnny Cakes, which we never heard of before this date, with salmon. As well as the Southern Fried Chicken Sandwich, Biscuit Board and Cold Brew non alcoholic martini. The mood lighting was perfect, for brunch or dinner. Seating felt spacious, but not too big and not too close. The sever was visible and aware of our table which is very important to me. Antilogy has quickly become one of our favorite breakfast places, and since it's nearby, we visit often. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and if you go early in the morning, you can usually get seated right away without a wait. The portions are on the smaller side, so if you're really hungry, I wouldn't recommend sharing. When we bring the kids, we always order the big pancake platter, which is fantastic--it comes loaded with blueberries, strawberries, and chocolate chips. We've tried a variety of their coffee options, and every single one has been great, even the black coffee. Their gravy is rich and flavorful, though I personally don't love the biscuits. Instead, we order a side of gravy and pair it with their delicious breakfast potatoes. The prices are reasonable, and the service has always been excellent. Stopped by Antilogy on a Sunday morning and beat the church crowd!! Shortly after arriving they got busy which is typically a good sign. The restaurant was clean and cozy. I opted for my Sunday usually Bloody Mary to drink, it was a middle of the road drink, not great but not horrible. The food on the other hand was well above average in quality and fairly priced! I tried the southern fried chicken sandwich with a jalapeño crème sauce and a side of breakfast potatoes , the sandwich was outstanding and again the potatoes were middle of the road and lacked any seasonings. My wife got the bourbon bacon melt on sourdough with waffle fries, the burger was fantastic! They use a 3 meat blend of brisket, short rib, and ground chuck for their burgers and it didn't disappoint!! The service was great as well. Next time we are in the Bargersville area we will stop by and try out more of the menu. read more

My family has been raving about this place to my mom and I (former southsiders) since we decided to come home for a quick, last-minute visit. It's not just one thing they love- it's the drinks, food, ambiance, and their consistent staff (our server had waited on my cousin previously a few times). It's definitely surprising to see how much the southside has been built up south of Stones Crossing since I moved away, and the fact that a cool place like Antilogy exists in a strip mall in between CG and Bargersville. My aunt made a reservation since we were celebrating my new sister in law and wanted to make sure there was enough for the 6 of us. Greeted promptly as we walked in and escorted to our fairly-private table. The menu isn't terribly long so the family was able to easily point out a couple of good coffee drinks and food items. The Tiger Eye latte I chose was kind of a miss for me, but I powered thru it. A definite plus-up that a restaurant in CG has multiple non-dairy options. Had a hard time deciding what I wanted to eat since I hadn't eaten in 18 hours but what sounded the heartiest was the Bourbon Bacon Melt. No regrets choosing that-- a very hearty, cheesy, meaty sandwich indeed! The fries were kinda meh, but I overlooked that for the great sandwich. We ate here last night and it was fantastic. The ambiance is very cool, but it could have been a bit warmer. A fireplace would be very much appreciated as it gets colder. The food was delicious! From the presentation to the flavors. You have to love bacon because it's in multiple dishes. If you don't like spicy then ask for No Chili Pepper Flakes :) We shared many dishes: deviled eggs, portobello mushrooms, burnt ends Mac n Cheese, and bacon. Then we had the patty melt, autumn salad, autumn burger, sliders, schnitzel and BBQ ribs! The drinks were also fabulous. One of the best Manhattan's that we have ever had! First time here!! I've been hearing lots of good things and I'm so glad I got to visit. Two of us got there around 6:30 on a Saturday night and didn't have to wait. We asked about the Highland 41 red blend and wee given a nice sample. Our server was only 19 so he wasn't real familiar with the wine selection. It was nice without a heavy oak finish. Hit a bootie to split at a reasonable price. Shared the crispy buratta and the sweet and spicy wings. The buratta came with three fried cheese rounds with toasted baguettes and balsamic arugula. I thought the combo was great but they were not fully melted. Wings were great but had to ask for plates and extra napkins? Felt like that should be standard. Finally the atmosphere was a little weird. It's in a strip mall, so maybe that colored my opinion but the ambiance was not what I generally like in a restaurant. Felt almost like a cafe or diner. As someone who is gluten free it's often difficult to find foods that taste like the original product, but at Antilogy I was honestly second guessing if the meal was gluten free or not it was that good! I ended up with a gluten free waffle and some potatoes with a vanilla latte, everything was so incredibly good and I am so upset I didn't come with an emptier stomach! The place was a little dark and quite cold but gave a nice coffee shop vibe, I would just recommend maybe a jacket if you get cold easy. We decided to try this place out after hearing others talk about the food. We went during brunch time. We walked and was greeted and immediately seated. The hostess and waitress were dressed nicely in black. The atmosphere felt classy but comfortable. There were a couple people at the bar and a couple people sitting on the comfortable looking chairs using laptops. In the back area there was a wedding party. I am sorry to say but I did not like the Bloody Mary it was hot and they did remake the drink with regular vodka but I still didn't like the taste. But I paid for it. My folks and I stopped into this nice brunch spot for a quick breakfast today, and it was enjoyable. We were seated immediately, and the service was attentive and efficient. The restaurant is very modern-looking and new inside, and it was a pleasant place to relax. The food was a bit of a mixed bag, but overall satisfying. The coffee is extremely strong, which I like a lot, but my parents couldn't quite handle it. I had the chicken and waffle, and it was a unique take on the classic. The hot sauce was very spicy, and there was a corn and cabbage slaw that was very pepper-heavy, so if you can't handle heat, this is not the dish for you. I really enjoyed it,however, especially the flavorful and crispy chicken. My mom has been gluten free for twenty years, so she was very excited to have a gluten free waffle, and she loved it. My dads French toast was sweet and crispy, although a little astringent with alcohol flavor. Overall, this was good and I will be back. read more

Less than 6, you can get seated even if you have just one person present. But let's get to the good part, the food and drink choices here. We came for brunch and enjoyed a sampling of the mimosas and coffees. Great stuff. We ordered a pancake board for starters, it came after some of us already had meals, but hey, it was still good. It was missing the Nutella, but we received that shortly after. If you like pancakes, that is the way to go. Pancakes and on the side bacon, butter, syrup, Nutella and fresh berries. And beautifully presented. Instagram worthy. I highly recommend the French onion soup, no matter what time of day. It is delicious and I must say one of the best I have had in a long time. My guests deemed their sandwiches, biscuits and gravy, as well as the French toast as delicious. I made the mistake of ordering the avocado toast. I recommend against that. Maybe it was just the arugula it was topped with, but the whole thing was bitter, very bitter. If it weren't for the avocado toast and the seating policy, I would give this place a full 5 stars. Modern brunch restaurant located in Southside. When I first got there, I was little biased because it was located next to Kroger. But once I went inside, I was impressed by the modern and trendy vibe. Furnitures are mid-century modern style and it's a new restaurant so very clean and lots of natural lights. We ordered avocado toast, Belgium waffle and breakfast power bowl. These are basic items for any brunch places so I thought it would be a good idea to start from the basics before I got adventurous. Power bowl tasted very healthy. Ingredients were fresh but nothing outstanding. Avocado toast was good too. Both my friends and I usually eat without any strong seasoning and we both felt that it was little under seasoned. But again, it tasted fresh. Waffle was not crispy. It tasted like the waffle that I made home, almost soggy. I'm giving 4 stars because I see potential in this new restaurant and I would like to encourage all non-franchise driven local restaurants in South side. There were several high chairs and car seat slings for little ones. We enjoyed our lattes and the food was excellent. They have a great whiskey list and I'm excited to return for drinks and apps!
