Been here a couple of times, food is consistently well prepared. The brisket grilled cheese was wonderful! Juicy on the inside and lightly grilled and buttered on the outside. Very diverse menu, good atmosphere.

Stopped here pre concert on way downtown. Had reservation but early so no ok really there yet. Great attention to detail and service from our waiter. Full bar with specialty cocktails. Had chefs special menu and someone had meatloaf from it. I had this delicious Chicken Wellington that was amazing. It is from regular menu. Will definitely have to go back to this place! Easy parking. Used to be old Granite city location.

Was in town for a friends wedding and this was nearby, and my husband and I loved our experience. Our Server's name is English and she was wonderful. Food was delicious! I got the scallops and my husband got the burger, and we shared a side of truffle Mac and cheese. They make good drinks as well! We ordered the When Pigs Fly drink and it was delicious! We ended with this deconstructed S'mores situation for dessert, and it was such a unique and wonderful dessert!

We went to Aberdeen Social House for Valentine's Day and had such a memorable experience. It was a busy evening, but the atmosphere felt festive and lively. We were seated on the decorated patio and enjoyed sitting at the bar while we waited, starting the night with the house Old Fashioned. We ordered the bao buns as an appetizer and they were a great way to kick off the meal. For our entrées, we were both thoroughly impressed. The chicken Wellington was wrapped in a perfectly flaky, delicious puff pastry, and the smoked short rib was so incredibly tender that it fell right off the bone and practically melted in my mouth. I paired my dinner with a glass of Malbec, which complemented everything nicely. We couldn't leave without dessert and took home a slice of carrot cake that absolutely knocked my socks off. The coconut cream cheese frosting was divine and easily one of the highlights of the night. Even with the Valentine's Day rush, the evening felt special, and the food truly stood out. I'm already looking forward to going back to try some of the other intriguing items on the menu.

When we walked in we were greeted by the host and asked if we wanted to have our coats checked. Very nice they have a coat check so you do not have to worry about it. We were immediately taken away by the asthetic of the inside. Felt very romantic and intimate. Highly recommend the waygu perrogis. They were paired well with the sauce and toppings. My husband loved his old fashion and I loved my Yacht Rock. The Yacht Rock was very tasty and not too sweet. The chicken Milanese was magnificent. The steak frites were very good but not enough steak for the price. The truffle Mac n cheese paired well with the steak. I wanted an espresso martini to pair with dessert but did not want a whole one. I asked if they could spit one between my husband and I, and they did! They were put in these cute tiny espresso martini glasses. Also that is the best espresso martini I have ever had! We got the smores dessert which was on their special menu and it was delightful. The light the rosemary to add an aesthetic. The rosemary gave the dessert a Smokey flavor. We will for sure be back! The service was 10/10, food was amazing and immaculate vibes.

Came back for brunch! I've only had a handful of apps off their dinner menu, but was told by the staff to be sure to come back for brunch and that's exactly what I did. A group of girlfriends and I came in on a Friday a little before 1pm to an almost empty restaurant. It was right after Christmas, so I was a bit shocked. Here's what I tried: + smoked brisket grilled cheese - 7/10 (I think short rib would be better) + truffle fries - 8/10 + seafood grits - 7/10 (seemed more like gumbo) And, kudos to our server Liz for bringing me a surprise birthday dessert!

Walking into Aberdeen Social House, I was immediately struck by the chic, modern vibe. The ambiance is definitely one of the restaurant's strong points-- it's got a classy yet comfortable feel that makes you want to settle into a booth and enjoy a nice conversation. However, while the atmosphere was almost a 5 star experience, the rest of the evening didn't quite match up. Our server was kind and polite, but she seemed pretty flustered and kept apologizing for little missteps--like forgetting plates, not refilling water, and just generally feeling a bit off her game. So I'd give the service around 3 stars. As for the food, it looked good on the plate, but the flavors just didn't deliver for the price. My steak needed seasoning, the fries weren't hot, and even the deviled eggs felt a bit overpriced for what they were. My wife was very excited to try the banana cream pie, but was disappointed when it came out and was more of a tart with a lot of whipped cream. So I'd say the food is a 3.5 based on solid creativity and presentation, but lack of flavor. In the end, if you're looking for a place with a fantastic atmosphere to grab a drink and enjoy the vibe, Aberdeen Social House nails that. But if you're going for a memorable meal, you might want to hold off until they get a bit more consistency in the kitchen and the service. I'm hoping my experience was an anomaly because I'd love to see this concept succeed in this area!

Had a wonderful date night at Aberdeen Social House for Indy Devour. The atmosphere was stylish and inviting, perfect for a relaxed yet elevated night out. Our server was friendly, knowledgeable, and kept everything moving at just the right pace, making us feel well taken care of from start to finish. The Devour menu featured beautifully presented dishes with thoughtful flavors, and everything tasted amazing. Overall, Aberdeen Social House delivered a memorable Devour experience with great food, great service, and a warm, modern ambience that made it a perfect date-night win.

I brought my husband back and we both had the Ash Smash Burger because I told him how good they were. He also ordered French Onion soup which was really good. We both got drinks and Saratoga sparkling water.

Had a nice, celebratory brunch for my friend's birthday. The weather was gorgeous so we sat out on the patio. It was a beautiful outdoor space. We all ordered a round of mimosas. I ordered the smoked brisket benedict. It was savory but oddly also light. The English muffin it came on was the delicious and my favorite part. The side of potatoes it came with had great flavor. My friend got a free dessert for her birthday. The dessert was adorable. It was a large fortune cookie with a fortune wishing her a happy birthday. One of the most creative desserts I have ever seen. And it tasted good too. Looking forward to coming back for dinner sometime.

The Pork Chop Al Pastor was outstanding, perfectly tender, and packed with rich, flavorful seasoning. Highly recommend!

Okay, tried again with Aberdeen. The first time was amazing and so here we are again. Decided last minute to go to Aberdeen since it opened around the corner from our home. Generally when we go in during the week, it is not crowded, but it feels like there are many regulars. Service is always amazing and we feel very welcome coming in. Wonderful large bar area and great seating area. Hubby had the nicoise salad and said it was amazing. I had the burger, which was cooked wonderfully. Lots of choices on drinks and a full bar. PROS: Plenty of parking Great Customer Service Great bar area CONS: Sometimes items are not available on the menu

This place had only been open a few weeks when we went so my review is unfortunately very delayed! It's in a great location with its own parking lot right off of w. 96th st. and Meridian. My friend and I went for a restaurant week on a random weekday at six and it wasn't crowded at all. I'm not sure what restaurant it used to be but it's much larger on the inside than what it looks like from the outside. The staff was super welcoming and the Devour menu choices were top notch. It was a ton of food. Definitely full portion sizes which you don't always get any more. All of the appetizers we're great. My corn chowder was a full bowl and quite tasty. The fried chicken came with a super creamy white gravy and creamy mashed potatoes. It was enormous and super moist. It was the breast and thigh breaded as one large piece. My girlfriend's salmon was good and she really enjoyed the deviled eggs. Everything that we had, I would get again. I can't remember what drink I had, but I know that it had pear liqueur in it and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I can't wait to back and try more menu items.

But they also have some creative takes, like the rose spritz, which is what I chose. It was very tasty, light and refreshing, and not too floral, which can happen with a rose-flavored beverage. Spritzes are amazing but not enough sometimes, so I also got a glass of Cabernet Sauvignon. Yum! The pour was generous. I kept my drink orders simple this visit, but Thieves has a whole menu full of creative cocktails. What you do when you enter is just sit down, and someone will come by and take your order. Went tonight after a production at the Booth Tarkington and was really looking forward to relaxing…read morewith an apertif in a cozy setting. We went for a 3:00 show on a Sunday such that by the time we got out, it was 6:00-still early. It was in the 30's outside and already dark (thanks DLS time). Yet as we reached the top of the stairs to the lobby I was immediately disappointed that there was no fire lit in the fireplace. There were only three parties in the place. One was around the corner in the adjoining sitting area and may or may not have been drinking. There were two couples at the bar, where we considered also sitting. But the only empty spot for two had two dirty drink glasses from a previous patron still sitting. So we opted for the leather couch and chair in the main area just across from the bar. And that's where we waited, and waited, for almost 30 minutes, before giving up on getting served (or acknowledged). There was only one bartender, so we were fine with going up to order but communication would have been helpful. We stood at the bar while she chatted with the two couples, who'd all been served. We couldn't really figure out what she was doing as she seemed busy-ish yet wasn't serving, or clearing, or washing, and we were chatting between ourselves and didn't really give it much thought. Then she said she was out of something and was leaving the bar to go fetch it. We asked her to let us know when she was ready to serve us, and we took our seats to resume our conversation. The bartender returned after a while, and she served one of the original couples ... for another 10 minutes at least. Again we were talking so, while an irritation, it was in the background. About 50 minutes into our visit, she came over and took our drink order. This was my third or fourth visit, and I'd ordered my drink, an old fashioned, before and knew what to expect: bourbon of choice, Luxardo cherry, and a dehydrated orange slice. Ten minutes later we got our drinks. Now mind you, my friend ordered a glass of wine. Nothing time consuming about that. She noted that her pour was smaller than the other times she'd been there. Mine came with the whisky cube already on its way to melted, a broken (a.k.a. piece of) cherry and a twist. What? Where's my glorious little crunchy orange wheel of goodness? I had spied them on the bar earlier. No soup for me! Also, and I can't be sure 100% sure of this, but I tasted neither bitters nor syrup. Was this really just a bourbon rocks? It took a minute but we realized this gal cannot tend and talk at the same time. My friend commented that she had no idea what will happen when the place gets busy, as it has been every other time I've been there. We left after 8:00, after one drink, and for me, $21 lighter. Yeah, it's pricey. And the Carmichael crowd is a discriminating one. So we expected better. Much, much better.

The Brussels sprouts are an absolute triumph: perfectly blistered with a caramelized exterior and tender interior, dressed in a harmonious balance of bright acidity and savory depth. The Korean salmon is equally impressive. The fish arrives flaky and moist with a richly glazed crust that carries sweet, spicy, and umami notes in perfect proportion.
