This is a brand new burger joint in Greenwood. It is part of a small local chain and has a decent-sized private parking lot. They have a covered patio area, a decent-sized dining area, and a full bar with seating. You will find televisions around the dining area and bar. The staff there is very friendly and attentive. They serve burgers primarily. They also have salads and chicken. And of course, they have an assortment of signature cocktails. Be on the lookout for the resturant's happy hour specials. We started with the pretzels, and they were really good. I ordered the Pimento Jalapeño burger cooked medium well, with fries. My food was ready in about 10 minutes. My food was ok. I think the burger and fries were slightly overcooked, though. If I had to rate it from 1 to 10, with 10 being the highest, I would give it a 7.5. My family liked their meal, though. I like this place's vibe. It has a kinda trendy feel. I enjoyed my meal here and look forward to coming back. read more

I was in a group of eight women for a monthly lunch. Our server was so patient as members of our group arrived and she was very attentive to us, as well. Some ladies in our group were thankful for the fish options as it was a Friday. I had a burger and fries and a half sweetened iced tea. My food was really good! I had the classic burger and it was perfectly done. The ambiance is great. Decor attractive. The only thing that threw me off a little was the pricing. Everything is separate for the burgers in terms of pricing. You can order a burger alone. Or for an additional charge, add a side. Just a bit more than I expected for a lunch. If BRU Burger were a Taylor Swift song it would be "Mr. Perfectly Fine" because that's just what it is - fine. I keep trying different locations - this one is brand new to Greenwood and just a few minutes from my house. Now, my other two times have been two and three star experiences and I'd said I wasn't going back but it had been quite some time so I gave them a third chance. All I can say is, not much has changed regarding my experience. I did like the fries better this time - they were hot, fresh and the ketchup (which I believe is house made) was good. The Black & Bleu Bison burger was cooked great, but overall lacked some seasoning, which has been my complaint each and every time I have eaten at a BRU Burger. It's supposed to have a cajun seasoning- not a hint of that I could taste. I don't understand why all the burgers are so bland! This is what you're known for and even voted best of Indy, but I am not tasting what the rest of the city is, I guess. My husband got the teriyaki salmon sandwich and he thought it was cooked great but also commented it needed something else as well. I think this is a great spot for them - the area is growing and there's a lack of nicer restaurants on that side of town. It was an hour wait on a Saturday night for a table inside and no wait for outdoor seating. It's a really nice spot to go with family or friends - natural lighting and a bar as well. We went late summer shortly after it opened and sat outside which was really nice. They have a nice size patio area, covered. Service was great, food and drinks were delicious. It's right next to Stone Creek which at their old location was always packed so I was fearful that the parking situation would be rough since they both share a lot however we went for dinner on the weekend and didn't have any issues parking which was nice. We enjoy Bru Burger on Mass Ave so we were very glad to hear one was opening closer to home! Their cheesy garlic burger is the BEST and their fries are delicious. Even though I asked for medium and it was more on the well side, that's my only complaint, considering it's a burger joint. Will definitely be back! read more

The hubby and I had a date night and tried out Bru Burger. Such a cute place with amazing food and service. Kinsey was our server and she was on point! Expresso martini was amazing, I had to stop at two because I was driving home. The three cheese & garlic burger was delicious and the hand breaded onion rings were huge and super tasty. Met friends for lunch today. No wait. They accommodated our group. The alcoholic drinks were expensive, but good! No scrimping on alcohol. Good waitress as well as the other staff who helped such as brought the food or alcohol to the table. We had a variety of food, chili, hamburgers and salad. All good and filling! The service was wonderful and they were able to sit us immediately. The onion rings came out very quickly and were very fresh. The chicken tenders came out for my daughter around the same time the onion rings came out as we requested and the manager came over a few times to check on us and refill our drinks. However, after waiting at our table for 10 minutes--with several servers walking by and not a single one acknowledging us--we decided to leave. Stopped in for lunch Tuesday Dec 30th around 1pm. Place was fairly busy due to lunch rush. We were seated right away. Our server Matt was friendly, great attitude and overall helpful. Each got burgers, and soft pretzels for an appetizer. Pretzels were phenomenal. Cheese sauce was a bit runny for the pretzels but still decent. Burgers were okay but kinda mid for what I was hoping. The reason for only 2 stars is this: while running food out a lady dropped some ketchup. That stuff splattered everywhere. Didn't know ketchup could fly like that. We were sitting directly next to the spill but luckily escaped the splatter. Lady grabs a dry towel and begins wiping the floor, then wiped chairs same towel, then a menu sitting on the chairs. Same towel, no cleaner, no rinse just started on the floor and went up. Hubs and I were shocked because eww. Then hostess walks by, grabs the menu and puts it in the stack with the rest. We finish our meal and asked Matt if he could send a manager over assuring him he did nothing wrong. Lo and behold same lady who cleaned the ketchup comes over. It was the manager Kyle. I explain how unsanitary it is to clean the floor first, then chairs, then menu with the same towel. She tells me they are busy and will clean it proper later. I told her the menu is now back in the stack that got wiped with a gross towel. Again another excuse. So that trip was a one and done for us. Nothing in food service is more important than sanitation. Kyle, the only proper response was thanks for pointing that out. I'll get menus sanitized right away and redo the area. read more

The Gorgonberry salad is my absolute favorite and great every time. Hubby usually gets a burger. Get the onion rings for an appetizer (weirdly, they don't show up as a side, so just get the fries with the burger at $2.50 extra) Wait staff is getting in the right rhythm in this new Greenwood location. First time we went there there were problems, but they have it under control now. Always too full for desserts, but they look good too. Try it. read more
