Our server said he had worked there for the last seven tourist seasons. The food was good. The rigatoni was perfectly al dente, and the crushed San Marzano-style sauce was delicious. My partner had the pizza marinara, which did not come with cheese but was delicious.

Good sized bar, full service, TV's (NHL Playoffs were on) Staff were great. Side note, whomever was in charge of the playlist knew his or her assignment- well done. Very much an old Italian restaurant feel. Staff was extremely nice and attentive. And heads up the meal will arrive quickly. So do what we did. Order a drink and an appetizer then main course when ready. Portions are very generous. We had ample leftovers- see the pictures- for dinner tomorrow when we get back home.and the pricing were reasonable. The bread is crispy, fresh and warm. So to the food. All the portions are large. Calamari as an appetizer- ohhhh So good. Very light and crispy, not dense or big clumps of calamari. Sauce was spot on. Slight pepper taste to it. They had a special tonight- ossobuco (pork shank) tomato sauce and gnocchi which the mrs had- and so did four others near us. The pork was so tender and fell off the bone, very very good. I was highly encouraged to have the chicken parm. Not sure how the hell they found a chicken that big for the portion I received. Outstanding. Lightly breaded, juicy, very nice sauce and goobs of cheesy goodness.. how any human could eat this in one sitting is beyond me. We have amble leftovers for tomorrow. Mrs got cannolis to go. Pizza made on the spot.. we will be back and this spot is highly recommended.. I found the prices reasonable and better than other offerings in the area. They close at 9 so keep that in mind..

While not positioned as organic, the food reflects authentic Italian execution. The pizza stands out: a light, well-fermented airy crust, balanced and refined sauce, and thoughtfully curated toppings. The menu offers elevated, gourmet combinations without being overworked. Desserts are made in-house and well executed. The flourless cake, in particular, is rich without being heavy. A excellent pizzeria in an area where clean gourmet food is inconsistent. this is Worth returning to.. Mangia Bene !!!!

The Greek salad and Margherita pizza is our go to, but we have had their cheesesteak subs, lasagna, and their various assortments of desserts. Ripieno's special-brew chai iced tea is something else that has always kept us coming back. That is until today. While the pizza and salad were still very good, they weren't as outstanding as they have been in the past. Customer service is not the same as it once was. When we ordered the chai tea, this evening, no orange and lemon slices were offered. As we were dining outside, I walked in to ask if they had orange and lemon slices for the iced-tea available. The cashier first seemed as though he didn't see me, and then when i caught his attention and asked about the slices of orange and lemon for the tea, he looked at me as if he didn't not know what I was talking about. I looked at the girl behind the counter that walked over with the salad dressing that had not been delivered with our salads and asked her about the fruit. She looked confused as well and said they didn't have any. The iced-tea on its own is very good, but the slices of orange and lemon really make it great! Back to the food...when our pizza was brought to the table, the gentleman that delivered it, (I think he may have been attending the wood-fire oven) threw our paper plates on the table. Next came the Greek salads. We were short two sets of silverware which was noticed by the second server. She said she would return with silverware, but didn't. So, I went back inside and asked for the two sets of silverware we needed. I was asked if I wanted plastic. I responded that I would prefer metal silverware. The girl disappeared and returned several minutes later with the silverware. I realize it is the busy season, but the restaurant was not busy. We've been during the busy season and in the off season and have always had wonderful experiences. I am truly hoping that this was a one-time thing, and that Ripieno's will return to the same familiar place we used to love to go.

At the time, we had just eaten dinner at a nearby fancy restaurant that was underwhelming. Last night, we finally made it in. As other reviewers have pointed out, parking is limited but got a spot as our reservation was at 4:45pm. In other restaurants, at times I would observe other servers being better than ours. However last night, I felt we had the best server. Olya was very good care of us and was really friendly. As for dinner, whenever my wife and I go to Italian restaurants, we tend to split items. We got the Insalata di Cesare ($15), Margherita pizza ($18), and Polpette ($14) which are 3 meatballs mixed with beef and pork. We ended dinner by splitting the cheesecake ($12) that included chocolate chips and a small cannoli on top. The only minor change I'd recommend is to change the croutons in the salad as they were really hard. Otherwise, everything else was absolutely fantastic!

I can't understand why so many restaurants don't understand the basics of running their business,…read moreHot food should be served hot and cold food should be served cold. We dined there recently and had a Ceasar Salad served in a salad bowl that was fresh out of the dishwasher and hot to the touch. If a business can't have the inventory of service ware to properly ensure the best way to enjoy a dish they won't last long. Think of it this way; a chef wouldn't serve a bowl of soup in a chilled bowl but many don't think twice about serving chilled salads in hot or warm bowls.

The coastal breeze, familiar scents in the air - it was the perfect atmosphere. Arose from the sun-bleached afternoon, only to realize the Pasta Cheese Wheel place closed at like 8 or 9 pm. Luckily, it was only about a 12-minute walk from my hotel room. Bliss Bliss... The cheese was so thick, warm, and gooey; the staff was informative, and even 15 minutes before closing after a long hot day at the beach, they were willing to indulge an enthusiastic patron. I asked it the sausage was rustic... she showed me a pan and said... this is the sausage - the sausage is good.... It was a great experience. I ordered the chicken for my protein and fettuccine for my pasta; my daughter and I watched as they swirled the freshly made pasta in a giant cheese wheel. Full experience - and I enjoyed every minute. Also - they do not skimp on the size. It was gigantic. The bowl was huge. But also so super delicious- I couldn't put it down. Just kept eating and eating until it was completed. Must try.
