It wasn't very busy, so we walked up to order immediately. We got the brisket burrito without beans, it comes with potato skins, and both were so good! I'd come back for the potato skins alone, it was like homemade chips, but I loved the spicyness and the texture of them. The burrito was well seasoned, and it's a great ratio of ingredients. Cute little spot we stumbled upon while walking around after an event. The outside patio was such a nice space to sit and enjoy our food and drinks. We've been regulars here for well over a year and for good reason. This is hands down my favorite restaurant in Bridgeport, and they're a great community gathering spot and an important part of our neighborhood. The food is fantastic. It's so hard to pick a favorite. In my top items from the menu are the fried chicken burrito, potato and poblano taco, brisket taco, shrimp and crispy kale taco, queso and chips, and elote dip and chips. (The elote dip is top tier and I haven't seen anything similar to it elsewhere - if you can only order one thing, order that!) I can't leave out the drinks in my review either - the margaritas are amazing and I'm absolutely loving the blood orange margarita this fall. One of the best things about these margs is that they aren't sugary sweet; they are flavorful and pack a punch but not so much of a punch that you'll be hurting the next day. We also love the staff - they are all fantastic. Jose is one of the managers and he's the best. Almost every time we come in, he's here and we've come to look forward to seeing him whenever we come in (probably too frequently but it's worth it). It's small inside with not much room to move around. I placed my order online using clover. I put the order in at 3:00 for a 5:30 pickup. I arrived 2 mins early and they said a few more mins. I didn't get my food until 5:35. If it wasn't during covid I wouldn't be as nervous. I didn't have a pager so I couldn't go outside to wait. We've been to antique taco countless times and to many of their events. The atmosphere is great and so much fun! They have a few high top tables indoors, outdoor seating, and an enclosed patio. Order inside at the window and they'll buzz you when it's ready. Dogs allowed outdoors and in the enclosed, heated patio. I've had quite a few things off of the menu and my favorite taco is the potato and poblano. The al pastor chicken was also good- rich and flavorful, but a little greasy. Worth it. The crunchy taco is an upscale version of a Taco Bell taco and my husband loves it! He likes their burrito too. The habanero hot sauce is what makes it so good! The shrimp and and crab flautas came out hot! The flautas were nice and crispy and the flavors were appropriately subtle, given the seafood filling. The sauce makes the dish more flavorful and interesting, but wasn't it wasn't overpowering. Antique taco is such a great spot! I love that they're local, family-run, and kid-friendly.
