When I drive across the San Mateo bridge I make it a point to stop for a sweet treat! I walked around downtown and stumbled upon Antoine's! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The inside is small but you're there to get straight to the point.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] What cookies do you want, grab your box and go! I like how simple the box / packaging is. The cookies are great and a good stop when you're walking around! I like to pair mine with ice cream around the corner! ONLY thing is I wish they came across the San Mateo bridge into Hayward / Union city / Fremont area!

Dangerously good--this place easily lives up to the hype. Every cookie hits that perfect balance: not overly sweet, incredibly soft with just the right chew, and layered with flavor that keeps you reaching for another. You can tell they're made fresh with attention to detail. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The shop itself is super cute and inviting, and the staff adds to the experience--friendly, efficient, and happy to help if you're deciding between flavors.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Love that they box everything up nicely too, which makes it great for sharing...or not. Fair warning: self-control goes out the window here. One cookie is not enough--you'll convince yourself you're "just trying a few" and somehow walk out with a dozen (plus one for the car). A dangerously addictive spot I'd 100% come back to.

Antonie's Cookie Shop never disappoints! My go-to is the Cookies & Cream cookie, and it's packed with Oreo flavor in every bite. The cookie is perfectly soft, rich, and loaded with cookie pieces without being overly sweet. If you're an Oreo lover, this one is an absolute must-try. Easily one of the best cookies I've had, and it's the reason I keep coming back.

This is my favorite cookie shop. The cookies are chewy and about the size of my palm (glove size small/medium LOL). My current favorite flavors are cookies & cream and toffee. This shop reminds me a lot of Anthony's cookies in SF.

Soft and delicious cookies. Also way cheaper then crumble and taste way more delicious

Stumbled upon this cookie shop while exploring downtown and I couldn't resist grabbing some to go! The Honeycomb and Toffee were both delicious, but I'd have to go with the toffee as my favorite! The pricing is very fair at $2.75 a piece. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a tiny shop but we got the only bench inside for our kids to enjoy their cookies & cream cookie.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I love that they also offer day old bags for purchase, and there's even a microwave if you just can't wait to enjoy them!

I stopped by on a weekday afternoon. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There was a good crowd in the store.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I went for 3 cookies. Peanut butter cup was my favorite. 66% dark chocolate chip cookie and cookies n cream were also good flavors.

Love this cookie shop! We typically stop by when we're in the area and it never disappoints. These cookies are not too sweet or too chewy or too crunchy. They are PERFECT. I usually just order the milk chocolate and semi sweet cookies and both are equally my favorite. I have yet to try the rest but I'm sure they're just as good!

Toffee: crunchy outside of the cookie with toffee bits Dark chocolate: soft texture all around with dark chocolate The cookies are on display to view the selection. There were samples available of one of cookie. Service was quick. These cookies are not sweet, fairly priced around $2.00 each and a light midday pick me up.

The honeycomb cookie is my favorite cookie from Antoine's. It is perfectly soft and chewy, and is amazing when eaten warm. They even have a little oven in the shop that you can use to warm your cookie. The shop is conveniently located in downtown San Mateo among tons of restaurants, making it a great place to grab some dessert after a meal.

While texting with a friend while eating my bowl of soba, this business came up in the conversation. After finishing my meal, I waited for my takeout order and told one of the waiters outside that I would be right back. Walking about a block and a half, I found this shop on 2nd St on a familiar block where I tried a then new ramen place. I studied the window menu before walking in to get a few cookies for myself and one for a friend. I for St tried the 66% dark chocolate cookie (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q&start=24&select=RMi41eymtttQISpvTP9_Vw) when I got home. I enjoyed the dough and that the chocolate was less sweet. The next day, I tried the semi-sweet macadamia (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q&start=24&select=Uu_1E48RfEBUeodlUdObKQ); though slightly sweeter (chocolate) I enjoyed that the macadamia nuts were still crunchy and fresh tasting. I finished my last cookie, the snickerdoodle (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q&start=24&select=_EEphcbyzU9UFLBDisNEOQ), the next day. Smooth and buttery with the hint of cinnamon, this, being my favorite non-chocolate cookie flavor, is a solid version. The gal who took my order and packed them as requested was cordial and nice. I enjoyed these and will stop by the next time I dine in the area.

Antoine's continues to be my tried and true! I just ordered about 100 cookies from them for a corporate event and it was staged and ready to go for a quick pick up! The cookies were so fresh and just about everyone complimented them at the party! It was super easy to do the order online too even though I called first just in case, because the quantity.

Love coming here! The cookies all taste so good and really appreciate they have a nut free allergy process separating tongs and boxes. My favorites are the cookies and cream, toffee, honey comb, and white Mac nut! The kids always love the snickerdoodle, chocolate chip, and cookies and cream. Cookies are a good size People are always so friendly here! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Center of downtown San Mateo for a nice walk or to pick up some cookies after a meal.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They also provide you a way to heat up your cookies!

Are these like cookie crumble? Update thank you for replies. FYI I can't stand crumble.

Hell No! Antoines cooks their cookies. I don't like Crumble

Hi could I order a large quantity of individually wrapped cookies (100) for pick up on a Thurs afternoon to serve at my Carmel Valley wedding three days later? How far in advance do I need to order and any special notes on storing cookies for 3 days?

Order one day in advance online We will charge you .25 per wrapped cookie…

How to order a baker's dozen with discount online? Thanks!

    Coupon code DOZEN

How big are the cookies (diameter)?

    3.5-4 inches

Is there an option for individually wrapping each cookie if a dozen or more are ordered?

Yes you can ask for that in store or online in the notes section of your order. Thanks for asking!

Do you have suggestion how to keep these cookies fresh for about a week? Is it better to store them in a fridge or pantry?

You can freeze them. That will retain the flavor but not the texture.

Are day old cookies being sold again?

yes, they were selling day old cookies in bags by the counter when i went (september 2021)

Do you offer any vegan cookies 🍪?

    Unfortunately we do not

Do you offer the option to buy cookie batter to bake cookies at home?

That’s a great idea. Maybe in the future!

Where can I find an ingredient list for these cookies?

I see the answer about not being gluten free. How about allergens? (Fingers crossed) Would the non-nut recipes happen to be free of the other top 5 or so?

Hello, we mix all our cookies separately and bake them on separate sheets. But we still have heard from customers who had an allergic reaction to non nut cookies.

Can we call and order in advance? Then just come and pick up?

Yes but on busy days we may not be able to accommodate this request. You can also just come in and purchase.

Will you guys consider partnering with delivery apps like DoorDash during this COVID-19 period, maybe with a minimum amount to order?

Thanks! Yes we are waiting to hear back from Postmates.

Does this cookie shop offer large, cake-sized cookies?

Thank you for asking. Unfortunately we do not.

Do they offer gluten free cookies?

I am very sorry we do not.

Is this the same cookies and cream cookies like Anthony's in San Francisco?

True story: Anthony hates me. Shortly after I opened Anthony came to confront me about getting into the cookie business.

Does Antoine's offer mini or smaller sized cookies?

Unfortunately we do not. Thanks for asking!

She was definitely a drive from San Jose to San Mateo but well worth it. The street is pretty packed with cars. Can I first say what a pleasure she is in person? Claire is super sweet and she's the reason I love supporting small business. We ordered the Mocha Crunch cake. Current prices are $50 for an 8". It's cash only so be prepared. The cake itself is on the light side (not as light as Asian cakes but I wouldn't call it dense either). Unlike some other reviewers that found it dry-- I highly disagree as it was not the most moist cake I've ever tried-- But it wasn't dry either. It was right in between and good enough for us. The Mocha flavor was lightly infused in the frosting and filling. It wasn't super overpowering but it was definitely there. The crunch topping was perfect and so unique. The only other place I've tried a crunch topping is in a latte from Kamurocho in Pleasanton. They have a "Honeycomb Latte" that is amazing. We served half the cake at one gathering and we ended up bringing the leftovers to another gathering. The cake was devoured. The crunch was really good and special, the cake itself doesn't really present the mocha flavor, as a result, after a few bites, the cake became too sweet. We were all hoping the bitterness from the mocha coffee flavor can balance out the crunch but we were disappointed. Interestingly, we then moved onto eating a chocolate cake from Marvel Cake and the chocolate was able to balance out the sweetness and cleansed our pallet a bit. We all felt that a cup of coffee would be perfect with this cake. The cake inside could also be a bit more moist. So all in all, the crunch got the thumbs up but the overall cake not so much.

I'm also not a huge frosting person, and I believe the cream was buttercream, which was probably the biggest downside for me. It wasn't overly sweet, but the consistency was just too thick for both my husband and me. I even tried leaving it out for over an hour to see if it would soften, but it remained dense. I do wish there were more fruit in the filling. It was mainly cream and a few berries. We sliced the cake on Saturday, and by Monday the exposed part of the cake from where it was cut had become pretty dry. I ended up cutting off the dry outer layer, but thankfully the inside was still moist, so I was able to enjoy the rest of the cake. Ordering through Square was easy. I ordered the 4-inch cake with a marble design, matcha cake, strawberry cream, and strawberries. One thing to note is that if you order the 4-inch cake, there wasn't a section to add custom text. You'll need to email or call them with your order number to let them know what you want written on the cake. Overall, the highlight of the cake was definitely the cake itself. The moisture and strong matcha flavor really stood out and were my favorite parts. If I were to order from this bakery again, I'd probably try a different filling and cream because the buttercream just wasn't for me, but that's more of a personal preference.

Maison Alyzée is a French fine pastry bakery café located on downtown Burlingame's main strip. Dedicated to providing customers with a Parisian escape through handcrafted elegant pastries and artisanal breads, the bake shoppe doubles as pâtisserie and boulangerie, priding itself on meticulous attention to detail. Upon entry, we were welcomed by a brightly lit and very clean venue. Ray and I were immediately drawn to the beautiful marble-topped white counter that encased a gorgeous variety of exquisite treats. The commitment to the elegance of French culture and modern creativity were evident in every luxurious pastry and cake on display. Maison Alyzée is an order-at-the-counter establishment, so we made our purchase with a friendly staff member at the register. Unfortunately, we were told that espresso drinks were no longer available that night since the staff had already begun cleaning the machines. Ok....I never understand businesses that start shutting down things before closing time. This just shows customers that team convenience of closing shop quickly takes precedence over customer experience, essentially omitting availability of items from the menu while they are still open. For this reason, I am docking a star. Luckily, they still had some cold brew available, so I ordered a Lavender Cold Brew with oat milk. Heads-up: Plant-based milks like almond and oat milk incur a $0.75 surcharge. I wish that the lavender was more like a simple syrup, so that the flavour was sweeter and less sharp. Maison Alyzée also offers a selection of breakfast, lunch, and brunch options. I definitely need to return to try one or two or a few of their ostentatious delights.
