Bold, smooth coffee served in a cute cup and saucer
    Kelly S.

Situated in the old Big Boy building, this restaurant is a vast improvement to the local eatery scene for this small town. The food is excellent, if not a bit pricey. The selection for eating is massive where you can order Benedict's to full dinner portioned meals. The best coffee I've ever had served in attractive cups with a dish. I've yet to enjoy a glass of wine with my meal (been here a few times) but that's only because they close at 3pm! They are apparently short-staffed, which is a very big shame as the alcohol with a meal drives up the profits considerably. There is plenty of parking spaces as well as plenty of dining room inside. The inside is very clean, including the restroom. The servers seem a bit harried yet they are pleasant and efficient. I've never had a bad meal here. Everything is served at the correct temperature and in a timely manner. The food is fresh and delicious. If you are anywhere near this area of 31 mile and old Van Dyke in Washington Township, MI - make a point to stop in and have an excellent meal...before 3pm

Huge portions, kind waitstaff, and reasonable prices. Stumbled upon this gem because the Pantry down the street was closed during their regular business hours. Took my mom her for breakfast. She got the chunky monkey pancakes and I got the monte cristo. Both were huge and delicious. Will definitely be making this our new breakfast spot, and probably won't go back to the Pantry, since Crave has all the special morning treats that you can find at the Pantry. Hello new breakfast place.

The Slim with the salad towering over it.

Very good, seems to be the choice for older ladies. I think I was the only guy in the place and certainly the youngest customer (at 60).. I had a Slim (their version of the slim Jim) that was very good and a Cobb salad that was as good as it was HUGE. Ate half the Sammy and half the salad. Nice deco, looks like it may have been a fast food place at one point. The main entrance is at the back of the building. Service was spot on, didn't wait for anything. Now I did not see they had soup anywhere on the menu but they do so you may have to ask.

SO MUCH FOOD! The portions are HEALTHY! the price matches the good amount perfectly. The service was amazing and the front desk gentlemen was polite and helpful. Would highly recommend. They were swamped and still made each table feel served. Amazing home fries, sooo good! The French toast was mouthwatering with the graham cracker crust. The hot coco was perfect! **iced tea was ehh, had an off taste.

We were in the mood for mother's day brunch because, well, I'm always in the mood for brunch so any chance I get I will take advantage of! It was surprising to see that not many places were allowing reservations on mother's day. I would have thought it would be encouraged! But we took our chances and came back to check this place out again. When we walked up, we could tell it was going to be a wait. There were people outside waiting. We put our names in and were not told how long the wait would be. Apparently some people were hanging out for quite a while. The place was busy but there were also several empty tables. There was the sign that we saw the last time we tried to come saying that they were short staffed. Same story everywhere. So we just decided to wait it out. It only ended up being about 20 min so not bad at all! The hostess was super friendly and you could tell the regulars loved her. Her sister also worked there so I'm guessing this is a family affair. The restaurant is on the small side. But cheerfully decorated and I loved how the staff were all in crisp white tops and black pants/skirt. Gave it a high class look. We were seated and gave our drink orders. I was excited to get an Irish coffee. As I had not had my coffee yet. My son got a Pepsi. I have been working hard and have lost about 15 pounds. I still have 10 to go but I was not about to diet today! I ordered the chunky Monkey and oh lordy! So delicious! The serving was so big I only ate about an 1/8 of it! My son chose the ham and cheese omelette and hash browns. Pretty boring but delicious! The ham was chunky and perfectly browned. My son is a big eater but could only manage half his omelette so it that tells you a lot. I was very pleased to see Bellinis ok the cocktail list. Bellinis have quickly become my favorite breakfast cocktail beating out the old faithful mimosa. I can now see why this place is always so busy. The food is magnificent and the service (although a little on the slow side) was a joy. I will most definitely be back!!

Delicious food, have been here several times, new to the area. Soups are great, food hot and fresh.

    Strawberry chicken salad

Back to one of my favorite places but this time I got a salad but no just any salad....the strawberry chicken salad! I replaced the blue cheese with feta ( they are so accommodating) I broke out in laughter when they brought it to my table. The picture does not do it justice! This salad was huge!! I immediately asked for a to go box and took more than half and put it in the box. It also came with warm fluffy pita triangles. You will not be disappointed if you order this just know it's enough to share!

Beautiful restaurant, very modern and clean. The menu has anything you could want for breakfast or brunch. The farmers omelette is full of veggies and sausage. I got it with the sausage gravy, but I would probably skip it next time. It didn't really add to the overall taste. You have to pay a bit extra to add cheese. The bacon was really good! My partner in crime got Mickey Mouse chocolate chip pancakes but went crazy and added marshmallows as well. I wish I was five again. The pancake was ok, it had kind of a "healthy" aftertaste and that's not my favorite. Overall, a solid 4/5; looking forward to coming back and trying something new.

This restaurant is located in the building where the old Big Boy restaurant was for many years. It briefly became the Washington Grill, which was a disaster, then finally Crave took over. There is a full bar and the restaurant has been remodeled inside and out. They actually have two full menus - one for breakfast and the other covers lunch and dinner. There are so many choices and every time I've been here everyone, including myself, really enjoys their food. This time I ordered the vegetarian omelette made with egg whites. I had the choice of potato's, grits, fruit salad or sliced tomatoes and it comes with toast. My friend got the country fried steak with gravy and potatoes. We both enjoyed our food. My only complaint would be how long it took for the food to come out. The waitress kept apologizing saying that they had just received a very large order. I understand it wasn't her fault but it made us late for an event we were going to. I won't hold that against them since the food is normally pretty quick. The portions are very generous and the food quality is always good. I will definitely be back here again.

    Great breakfast

Absolutely the best place to get breakfast in the area. Portions are fantastic and so is the quality of the food. This is my got to restaurant for a fantastic breakfast meal.

    #4 House Breakfast

Crave has the best breakfast. Such a large portion that we always have enough for two breakfasts. Great food and quick service.

The food and service was impeccable. I would recommend checking this place out to support your local business and enjoy a great experience. The picture show what we had for breakfast and the food was awesome.

Long wait today, came in about 11:15 and told wait would be longer than usual. Glad we stuck through, it was worth the wait. Other orders not pictured: steak and eggs, country fried steak and a kids meal hotcake. Definitely coming back

If you want to sit outside, all you have to do is order at the bar and they'll serve your drinks in plastic cups for you to take outside. The rhubarb pie punch was so delicious I had to order it twice! Probably one of my favorite cocktails I've ever had. I also ordered the maurixio cattelan, which tasted like ginger ale. For a snack before dinner, we chose to get the burrata and it was so refreshing. The service was great and our bartender was super friendly! The logo with the little lamb is adorable. Nate and I stopped in on our most recent visit to Detroit and had a lovely experience. The space is tucked away but had a surprising amount of outdoor space--we were there in January but I'd love to come back in the summer. We were greeted right away and given a spot near the bar. The menu includes cocktails, lots of wine, and several tasty food options. It was quite busy inside, so it took a bit of time for our server to come over to us, but we weren't in a rush. They had ten cocktails on their list and I tried the bullet proof soul and Nate got the negroni alla perra. The ingredients list for some of the cocktails include things I've never heard of, but at a place like this, I just know it's going to be good. Our drinks were perfectly balanced and very tasty. We also ordered the mortadella sandwich to split--this was delicious. It was pretty messy, but worth it. It was perfectly toasted and full of mortadella. Everything on the menu sounded delicious and I would love to try more of the food options. Can't wait to visit again!

Hubby got the Cajun chicken pasta and I got the chicken piccata with noodles (noodles or smashed potatoes were the choice). Hubby really liked the Cajun chicken. It definitely had some good spice to it. I thought both my chicken and his chicken was dry to the bone. The flavor of my piccata was fine but I've had better. I will definitely go back, but I will be avoiding any chicken dishes as it was just too dry. The green beans that came with my dinner were nice and tender (my favorite thing on the plate). The pasta is homemade which is cool. I thought my spaghetti was a little spongy but fine. Hubby enjoyed his linguine over my spaghetti noodles. Had the beignets with mixed berry sauce for dessert. Nice, soft and pillowy. These are not super sweet (I'm used to beignets that are super coated in powder sugar, these are lightly dusted). But a solid dessert nonetheless. It's larger and a little more upscale than RBH with much more outside seating at the front entrance, near the street, and at the side (where we sat). Looks more suited for cocktails and wine, than food forward. The brunch menu is scaled down from RBH, but similar. I ordered the Chicken Omelette (omelette version of the Chicken Scramble at RBH, which I enjoyed the day before). It was noticeably smaller and less flavorful, but still was ok, though priced the same. Be prepared as a cup of coffee is $5. Yikes! We sat outside just after opening and hoping to have a beautiful relaxing breakfast. However, they seemed to have chosen a club like playlist from some pretty loud outdoor speakers, which felt very out of place, Maybe it was purposeful to get people revved up, but still, just felt off. Our server was warm, friendly and said some very kind things about the owner. She even told us how the restaurant got its name. Apparently there was a huge fire which destroyed several churches in the area and in 1881 this church was the first to be rebuilt. Saint 1881 pays homage to their roots. Very nice tribute. Our food took a little longer than expected since we were the only customers at the time, but not overly excessive.
