The lights and the huge food truck drew me in bookmark this. So I finally had time to come here a few weeks ago to satisfy a late night taqueria craving. My wife got the super burrito and I decided on the super quesadilla. There was about 3-4 people in front of me waiting for food. Waited for about 5 minutes before I got my food. After the drive home, my food was still hot as if it was just served. Chips still crunchy and salsa still chilled. My super quesadilla had really good taste and flavor, but the portion for me just didn't do it. Looked small, felt small and weighted much less compared to my wife's super burrito. The outside slices held together but the middle slices fell apart fast despite using Dos manos (two hands). Basically same price as the super burrito but less food. The super burrito however, this is one of the better tasting burrito's I've had. Cheesy, flexible but crunchy tortilla, flavorful carne asada. Freshness from the pico de gallo, slight kick from the salsa. Overall just a really good burrito. Highly recommend. I definitely will try other things on their menu next time. The question I always ask myself after trying a new place is "would I come back here?". For the super quesadilla, no. For the burrito and to try other things, definitely. read more

I'll be honest--I never liked Mexican food, even when I lived in the Mission in SF. But this food truck's quesabirria completely changed my mind. The beef is unbelievably juicy, and the consommé is so rich and flavorful that I always end up drinking the leftover dip like soup. It's that good! Even my 7-year-old picky-eater can eat three of these in one sitting! The truck used to park by Safeway in Millbrae but moved because of construction. One day I was seriously craving their birria, so I drove up and down El Camino until I finally found them in San Bruno, about half a block from the Arco gas station near Santa Lucia Avenue. Love this place. This is by far my favorite taco spot in The Bay Area. Better than anything than SF. Better than OG Taqueria San Bruno even. Antojitos also has better price point than most taquierias. I always get their super tacos from the truck which are priced at $3.50. They sell their regular tacos for $3. A number of times now, whether it be as I'm driving by on El Camino or as I'm walking along Broadway, the lights of Antojitos Mexicanos Jovanni's truck have caught my eye, shining brightly in the night. Not as brightly as fireworks in the midnight sky, but certainly enough to catch my attention...and to get me to look them up on Yelp. And boy am I glad I did! Food trucks generally tend to pique my curiosity, regardless, but even more so in this case. Beyond just how good their menu sounded (which was enough alone to get me to come here), the amount of enticing looking photos and positive reviews were just too much to ignore! Besides how bright it is, the other thing I like about this particular food truck itself is how big and new it is (it's not one of the older, boxy ones you often see). Of course, their surprisingly extensive menu, and how good the food tastes, is the most impressive thing about this place. Despite being notably smaller than your typical taqueria or Mexican restaurant, the range of options they have to choose from is just as robust. In addition to the the usual sorts of burritos, tacos, and nachos, they also have burrito bowls, birria tacos, flautas, carne asada fries, tostadas with ceviche, churros, birria ramen, burgers, fish & chips, and a whole lot more. -- QUESABIRRIA with Cheese, Onion, and Cilantro...$4 Granted, I haven't had this at a ton of places, but this just might be my favorite one around! Incredible Mexican food on the side of a busy road. We got a variety of items to split, and all of them were excellent. The pastor was a highlight for sure. There is also numerous amounts of drinks to choose from. It's a huge taco truck set up at the stop light right before Safeway and you are greeted with a huge tv screen of cartoons or a fireplace. I usually order their regular tacos but have also tried their burrito and quesabirria, all of which were bomb! Pricing is decent and they don't skimp on the protein! I always find carnitas and Al pastor spilling out of the tacos & the super burrito is quite hefty. We used to go to San Bruno Taqueria often but find that they tend to take a while even if you ordered ahead and price wise, Antojitos is much more affordable. I really want to try their carne asada fries but know that it'd be too much food. They are also super friendly! My fiancé and I have been coming here weekly for the past month because everything here is so delicious and well priced! We've tried the quesabirria, burritos, tacos, and desserts here and it's so hard to pick which one we like the most. They're all so delicious! All of the food is made fresh to order so expect a ~10 minute wait after ordering. Their quesabirria tacos are only $4 each which is a STEAL in this area! I usually order 2 and I'm perfectly full. The outside of the quesabirria is crispy and not soggy at all while the inside is tender and juicy. The meat has a really great flavor and you don't even need to dip it in the consome. It's that juicy and flavorful! We've also ordered the lengua and cabeza super burritos and both are solid. The meats are so tender and the ratio of ingredients is perfect, you never get too much of one ingredient in each bite. They give you a choice of green or orange salsa in each order, we always choose the orange! It's so creamy with a nice hint of spice. I'm a fairly regular customer here. These folks have a great attitude, good customer service, and they have good-tasting Mexican food at a good price. If you pay cash, they usually give a small discount. I usually get a burrito of some kind, and it always tastes fresh and fills me up. One of the better taco trucks in the area, in my opinion. Note: they used to park facing south on El Camino right in front of the Safeway & Trader Joe's parking lot in Millbrae but have recently moved across the street, facing north, about a block north on El Camino. I always pass by Antojitos Mexicanos Jovanni while going to Trader Joe's and I finally decided to stop by and try it out. The location of the truck is right next to the Safeway and across the way from Trader Joes/Living Spaces! I'll just say now that this is my new go-to spot. The worker taking the order was super joyful and kind in helping me navigate the menu with recommendations since it was my first time ordering from them. I ended up ordering the California Burrito (carne asada) as well as the Carne Asada Fries and I had the choice between Mild or Spicy salsa. I had a difficult time choosing between the two so the worker said that she would put both of them on the side for me to try out! The wait was about 5-10 minutes to receive the food. It is all packaged in a togo plastic bag (Carne asada fries in a plastic container and the Carne Asada Burrito foil wrapped). The portions are very generous They also have a few chairs laid out in front of the truck if you would want to eat there as well. There's no way to miss that and I remember a coworker telling me that this was her favorite place to go. I noticed a sign that mentioned Taco Tuesdays with a good price for them. Quesabirria is to be ordered here! It's so bomb! The dipping sauce (consumme) served with it, make it over the top! Pair it with their Al Pastor taco, Asada and other meat types that you might like! I'm a loyal customer of the Zumix juice truck on El Camino and by random chance I decided to walk over to Jovanni's taco truck (parked right next to each other). I started off light with the first visit and ordered a plain carne asada taco with no salsa or fixings. I personally always want to see if an establishment has good meat and a tortilla for a foundation. My next visit I ventured to the Carne Asada Super Taco and I fell in love. The flavors from the salsa and meat are perfectly balanced, the perfectly grilled tortilla has a bit of a nice char to it and lastly the cheese melt on the tortilla isn't overwhelming. They have complete dishes that including a little salad rice and beans and their presentation is always very careful and nice. Had a carnitas super burrito. As others had indicated it could have had more seasoning on the meat. It wasn't terribly bland but there certainly could have been more flavor. It was a bit dry, I had it with spicy salsa but it didn't taste spicy at all. Also tried the horchata, I'm by no means a connoisseur but it was pretty good.
