Owner was super nice; however, this was one of the worst pizza's I've ever had. Crust was floppy, no char, pizza tasted cheap, and overall would not recommend. This place is absolutely disgusting! No inside seating! They had a few tables outside in front of the business, tho. The pizza I ordered tasted like it had chef-boy-r Dee pizza sauce on it. My husband said his calzone wasn't much better. The customer service was quite lacking as the register operator literally stood there at the counter doing anything else except waiting on us (and we were the only patrons at that moment.) Did pick up for 3 Pies. Regular, Veggie and White. They all were good. Not something I would say "wow I want to order that again!" But it's the closest to my house so we tried it being we are new here. You won't be disappointed, it's a solid pizza. Just not what I'm used to coming from NJ, but in all fairness to them and about 3 other places I've tried for pizza none of them are. I think when you come from a place where pizza is really good, say NY or NJ then you have to have pizza for a quick fill in meal and not expect it to be something you're going to order for dinner and love it. We got a little white pizza from Antonio's. Here's the break down! Service was fast and friendly! Crust-Very good. Perfectly crusty and chewy and great flavor. Nice and thin on the slice. Pie-I hate getting takeout pizza. The ricotta was quality, nice and dry. Great flavor. Just a little too dry, and i didn't think there was enough mozzarella. Just my opinion. I'm sure if we ate it there it would be way better. Hot and melty. Even though I live five minutes away, it was just disappointing. We will try again! Ordered 2 XL pies. One cheese and one pepperoni with an antipasto salad. Ordered on a Friday night. While it was busy, it was definitely worth the wait. Pizza was good eaten cold the next day also!! Antipasto was a good size and fresh. I would definitely recommend trying this establishment. read more

Pizza is a comfort food. While not remarkable, theirs was decent. What made me uncomfortable was the lack of masks on each of the two people there. (I believe one of them was the owner.) Until vaccines are in wider distribution, I'm certain there are plenty of choices in the area whose fare is as good, or better. read more

Anyone visiting Florida will tell you that it is impossible to find good pizza and subs there. Unfortunately, Antonio's only confirmed that theory. I will give them a 10 for effort. The owner and his employee worked hard on my small order. (I was the only customer and they appeard to be simply prepping veggies upon my arrival). They were very friendly and took a lot of time to make sure my greek salad and tuna sub were just as I wanted it. I asked for a bag to carry my lunch home with me ( I was walking) and the owner acquired a glazed over look....ok so they dont have bags. My boyfriend wanted a veggie calzone last night and we decided to try this place. We ordered a small cheese pizza and a veggie calzone on the phone and drove to pick it up. It was empty except for the two employees who looked unhappy to see customers. Our food was ready and we paid $21. We had to ask for napkins before we left. Our food tasted okay but my pizza crust was too thick on the edges, soggy and almost transparent with grease in the middle, and almost no sauce. It seems they have decent ingredients but the assembly was poor. My boyfriend's veggie calzone was too small for the price and he said the dough was also spread too thin and his veggies and cheese were just carelessly lumped in the middle. I'm sure it's not like this all the time, but we will not be returning. read more

Restaurant was hot and the floor dirty. I have a 30 lb service dog with me always. Registered service dog. Walked in doubtful, sat for a while no wait staff. Went to the waiter station window and was told we would not be served because the owner doesn't like dogs. Zackery has been my service dog for 10 years. Gets under the table and waits until we are ready to go. Not only is this illegal it is disrespectful to those of us with disabilities. I would hope that this review costs him business from those who respect the disabled. This is a pitiful person with a dirty restaurant and no respect for others. read more

This pizza place is pretty darn tasty. Not the best New York Style I've ever had, but it is very good. The sauce is great, the toppings are delicious, and the crust is delicious, very crispy and not too thick. I normally try to eat here once a week, and always order a pizza with pepperoni and mushrooms, and it is awesome. The only reason I would give this place four stars instead of five is because the sides are not terrific. I've had the wings and jalapeno poppers- they're not terrible, but not all that great, if they could deep fry their wings and put their hot sauce on it, I would definitely bring it up to a five. I haven't tried any of their subs or salads yet, but they do look good. If you're in the area, the best way to get this pizza is call ahead and drop in and pick it up. The restaurant itself isn't terrible, but I don't know if I'd want to eat in there a lot. All in all- not a bad place to eat, give it a shot! EDIT- Updated 12/4/09... Had the mozzarella sticks with my pizza last night... THE WORST mozzarella sticks I've ever had. EVER. I've microwaved frozen sticks before that tasted better. I never actually eaten here before but never want too since what happened recently. I was over by the nail place next door when i needed a cup of ice and when i went to ask the manager he said NO, i offered to pay for it and he insisted no. A cup of ice? I ask for a lemonade, and it taste like water, I tell them it's water and that say it's lemonade (did they drink it or something?) I make it a point to go back to Antonio's every time I go through St. Augustine and have been supporting them since they first opened. Food is tasty and quickly served. Restaurant is small with limited seating, but they offer delivery so you can eat the tasty food in the comfort of your own home. Lots of options on the menu to find exactly what you feel like eating. All of the staff are friendly. I would recommend this restaurant for lunch or dinner. They offer a lunch special at a good price. read more
