Just recently had a pretty good slice of white at St. Augie's! When a pizza shop brands itself as NY style, I get very speculative because growing up with Philly and NYC pizza I realize I had only the best as a kid. While it was thin crust and they had all of the typical options, it was probably the best pizza I've had yet down in FL. I really liked the thin crust, the abundance of cheese, and the whole pizza shop vibe of the place. I'd go back again. While it's not super close to NY style, I did enjoy and I think you will too!

Yes, I would recommend this place as the go to pizzeria in St. Augustine. The choose of by the slice or a whole pizza. Definitely fresh n hot to order. Other options are available from mozzarella sticks to french fries to garlic knots to calzones and subs. There is something hot n fresh for an individual on a budget to a group outing. Across the street from Flagler College so has a college feel to it. Within walking distance from downtown St. Augustine. Worth the walk to.

I consider dissatisfaction when teenagers start quoting the papa John's tagline of "better ingredients, better pizza" but teenagers are picky so..what do they know? We tried: Half pepperoni pizza & half chicken Parmesan Garlic Rolls This pizza shop was nicely located close to the main centre of events & the staff was very kind. The pizza was in my opinion good. It was hot, & cheese-y. The one thing I did agree with the teenagers about was the garlic knots - the only reason I can't give 5 stars. They were dry & didn't taste garlicky. There were also moments in which the staff ate in front of guests. I believe that's unprofessional but this is a smaller establishment so I'm not sure if that plays a role.

I would give the pizza a 4.5, so I'll round up to 5. It's better than most pizza. And service is friendly. I'd say the only negative is navigating these tourist-filled streets. But if you're a tourist and you're hungry, here you go. I found this place by accident while searching for a bagel store. Now you might find it intentionally. Enjoy...

Tried this pizza a few times...the pizza is good, definitely not the best in St. Augustine, but that is different for each individual. I was super excited when I read the reviews, but disappointed after taking the first few bites of the pizza. I really expected it to "wow" me. Again, it is good pizza...but it's ok average pizza. I read in the reviews that Grande cheese is used and that is ok. I did like the sauce, but the crust was slightly thicker than I/we like our New York pizza to be. I personally think a pizza should be as good cold as it is warm (since we like to eat leftovers later or for breakfast). However, the pizza from here loses something once it starts to cool down. That's a turn-off for me and my pizza snob family. Perhaps if we just had a slice instead of a pie it may be different. Personally, I also think the prices are high compared to other pizza places in and around the area. I believe it was the owner that attended to us and she was nice. Inside the restaurant is cute with New York décor. There is an extra charge for using a credit card and there is a sign for this so it isn't a surprise. Also, there is parking in front, but it can be a little tricky to get in and out of, not to mention it is a shared lot by the other businesses in the building. That said, there is parking along the side as well and I would recommend parking there so you can pull out and go down the alleyway to get out instead of the street in front.

We have eaten here many times. I love the slices. Just like NJ/NY area. Definitely, one of the most authentic in this area.

The pizza was good New York style and was New York prices. Way too expensive for pizza. Not worth the cost of the poe.

The cooked penne was sitting on the counter uncovered, just vibing at room temperature like it had officially given up. The sauce? Scooped from a container and reheated with all the passion of a microwave at 2 a.m. The complimentary bread arrived looking hopeful... until we realized it was a square dinner roll slathered in what tasted like imitation garlic and oil -- less Italian trattoria and more middle school cafeteria meets olive oil cosplay. The Chicken Marsala arrived undefeated in battle against any form of tenderizing. This chicken was not pounded thin -- it clearly lifts weights. I needed a steak knife, determination, and possibly a waiver to cut through it. We shared one entrée and a bottle of wine that tasted like grapes filed a formal complaint, and somehow the bill still hit $65. I checked twice to make sure we hadn't accidentally invested in the business. And just when you think the experience is complete, surprise! There's a debit card fee. Don't worry though -- the owner's son (also waiter, host, busboy, and possibly assistant regional manager) will loudly explain it from across the restaurant so the entire dining room can stay informed.

We called ahead from the airport and had our order ready in about 30-40 minutes, which was a relief. However, the girl on the phone couldn't give my mother an exact time on when it'd be ready. Really? Her response was "I don't know" to how long two cheese pizzas would take... whatever. We kept it simple and ordered two large cheese pizzas because we wanted to judge the place based on its core products. The crust was thin but held its structure, and still folded easily in your hand the way a good slice should. The one thing I noted (and basically how all overpriced pizza places are) was that there was no seasoning on the crust at all. We're big fans of Domino's garlic crust, so that was a little disappointing. The sauce had a nice flavor to it, but nothing particularly memorable. I'll be honest though. I can't say for certain how much of our enjoyment was the pizza itself versus the fact that we were starving at that point. You should've heard my mom's comments about "I feel like my stomach is eating itself" lol. My mom gave it 2/5 stars and my brother gave it 3/5, so somewhere in that range feels about right to me. It's also not cheap for what you get, so just keep that in mind going in. That said, if you're nearby and need a straightforward pizza fix, it'll do the job.

This was an awesome pizza very tasty although hubby said it needed more meatballs and tomatoes. We will definitely return and highly recommend.
