This was THE BEST MOVING EXPERIENCE we had !! If it was possible to give a 10/10 We would give it a 10 !! We have moved a few times in our lives before and always thought that hiring movers and conforming to their "want and need" was not what we pay for.... !! We pay for the help, flexibility and the ease. THATS WHAT WE GOT FROM ANTON's MOVERS !!. When we called to get an estimate, Anton was very accommodating, polite and helpful with our schedule. He gave us a few options and the time to decide and call him back. He was available and very prompt with replying to our questions both by phone and by email and made the whole hiring and scheduling experience a very easy experience.... the way it should be. We were moving from Metro Boston to Washington D.C (downtown area). To accommodate our needs, Anton scheduled the packing and pick up on Monday afternoon ( they showed up 10 min before the schedule) and kept the furniture over the next day and delivered the furniture and all the other small boxes and stuff on Wednesday morning in Washington D.C. That gave us enough time to pack our Van/car and drive on Tuesday to meet them in D.C. That's how we wanted to do it and Anton said "how you want it ....IS how we will do it" . He was true to his word ! Yan and Stan (The two young guys) who did the move were VERY FRIENDLY, POLITE, and PROFESSIONAL not to mention AMAZINGLY EFFICIENT !! I have seen other movers we hired to move us before from Texas to Boston or from Brookline to Newton. These guys are THE BEST ...no exaggeration .... seriously they were like GREAT and THE BEST MOVERS we have had experienced !! The are very organized and after taking a short preview of the stuff that had to move, they picked up the stuff as they thought they would fit it in the truck. The were done in an hour !! and as they finished, they said good by and see you in D.C. at 8 am Wednesday..... they were there at 7:30.... and as efficient as they were in Boston... they were just as good in Washington D.C (despite having driven all night before to arrive in D.C. the next morning. When they finished moving the stuff up to the 10th floor (elevator building)... they placed it where we asked them. Upon finishing the move both Yuan and Stan asked us if we needed more help moving the heavy things around the apartment and arranging the apartment...!! We did need some help ...and they were happy to oblige .... Now that's more then just moving ....!! It was like having buddies help you move....!! THANKS ...Anton, Yuan and Stan...!! In terms of price and value for the money, we had priced the move on moving our self with just renting a 16 ft Van and hiring help on both ends of the move, the gas and the hassle of the drive and the work involved in the move along with getting estimates from other well-known moving companies.... I have to say Anton's was by far THE BEST VALUE for the price, which was VERY REASONABLE and not that much more then if we had done the move on our own with a Van and hired help !! I moved from Brooklyn to Boston in the middle of April this year and I picked Antons because they were highly rated. I was super happy with their level of service and I will definitely use them again when I have to move within Boston later this year. Here's why: 1. PLACING THE ORDER. Signing up with them online was easy and I received a call within the same day. I hadn't finalized all my details, which was fine by them. They kept my reservation paused and then let me fill in the details of my order at a later date. 2. LOGISTICS. I had items in a storage unit in New York that had to be put in a storage unit in Boston. I also had some items from my home that needed to go to the storage unit. I clearly marked those items with yellow packing tape and the guys completely understood how to pack the truck to make that as easy as possible. They even found a box I had forgotten to mark! That's attention to detail! 3. PRICING. They emailed me a flat quote based on my estimate of items and then told me clearly the extra price for the extra stop in New York at my storage unit (~$200) and the extra stop in Boston (~$130). AND ALSO when they send the quote, they provided a quote for the two days before and the day after my requested move date because the day that they have to drive up affects the price (traffic makes it take longer). That way I could choose to move a different day if the pricing mattered to me. Their pricing was INCREDIBLY straight forward. 4. PERSONALITIES. The movers themselves--Denis, Tim and Beka--were incredibly nice and professional. More than anything, they had incredible stamina. All told, with two extra stops and driving from NY to Boston, the whole day took 13 hours for me (7am to 8pm) but the movers had woken up at 3am in Boston to drive down to New York. They NEVER seemed annoyed or frustrated and they were pleasant until the very end, which included moving a giant couch into a tiny Boston apartment and taking an old door off its hinges. A funny added benefit: they speak Russian to each other, so I didn't have to think about whether I needed to jump in and help them because I had no idea what they were saying. It helped me not focus on doing anything and just staying out of their way. I didn't think politeness would matter this much but it made what could have been an otherwise stressful day SO pleasant. They broke one tiny wheel on a crappy Target filing cabinet that I should get rid of anyway, but they told me right away that it had happened. I think considering everything else, this was not a big deal at all in my book. CONCLUSION: I will be using Antons Movers again and I will request Denis Tim and Beka. They were a great team. Anton's Movers fell onto my lap completely accidentally as another company, whom I had signed with prior, had an emergency and needed to cancel the move. The initial company was kind enough to refer me to Anton's who had availability around the same time. Of course, I was extremely disappointed and frustrated with the loss of my movers one week prior to my move, but Anton's came to the rescue. Tony, the manager, was able to speak with me within 24 hours of the cancelled move. He was courteous and efficient, as was his team on the day of my actual move. They arrived in Providence within their estimated window and worked at a miraculous rate and with such amazing attention to detail. I had previously had a horrible experience with long distance move and much of my furniture had been damaged. Anton's took meticulous care of my items and ensured that all pieces were wrapped and cared for to the best of their ability. For a 1 bedroom apartment on ground level, their 3 man team was done wrapping and loading everything onto the truck within 90 minutes. In Boston at our final destination, they worked equally expediently and carefully with the added dredge of very narrow and long flights of stairs within an old South End apartment. The took care to take down any decorations that were hung on the walls of the stairway and, for rather bulky furniture, there wasn't even a scratch or dent on any item, wall or piece of furniture. I was so impressed with their professionalism and work ethic, and with their kind manners (asking to use the rest room, asking to wash their faces, etc). The foreman even waited for me to find a checkbook which I had misplaced during the move to avoid any additional charges that would have been incurred had I used a card. Hands down, I intend to use them again. I would encourage anyone reading this to save yourself the time and hassle of reaching out to anyone else and just go straight with Anton's. There were times during our family's move by Anton's Movers last week that we cheered, gave standing ovations, and shouted out "Bravo", as if we were treated to front row seats at the Bolshoi Ballet...like when the guys performed literal pirouettes at opposite ends of our impossibly large couch in an impossibly narrow 2nd floor doorway, seemingly defying the laws of geometry and physics with grace and abandon. There were times when the high level of political discussion and analysis, in particular about the massacre at the Trades Union building in Odessa last May and the legendary, historical role of the Donbass miners, left us wanting to throw it all away and join an International Brigade. There were times when all seemed lost...that eviction, gentrification, inhuman rents and homelessness in Boston would prevail on us...but Anton's flexibility, right-on-timeliness and small army of some of the fittest and most pleasant workers on the planet got us rescheduled, got there even earlier than predicted and got it done faster than we thought humanely possible...and all UNDER cost ESTIMATE, no extra charge for all the wrapping and materials, and without a scratch to boot. Moving, if you don't choose it, can be as emotionally and physically traumatic as some of the other worst of life experiences. Did I mention the workers' glorious sense of humor? We haven't laughed like that during such a dreadful, forced experience...ever...still smiling~:) We'll probably be unpacking our excessive stuff for the next 12 months, and hopefully throwing some more of it away, but that little Anton's retractable tape-cutter gift at the end has made just about everything seem just a bit easier, and, who knows, we'll surely call Anton's Movers again if this way-too-expensive lease doesn't pan out. The day of the move (March 9, 2017), Denis, Georgy, and Ivan left Boston around 2:00am in the morning and drove through the night to arrive on time at our home right outside of Philadelphia. Within 3 hours they had loaded the truck (contents of a 3-bedroom two-story single family home) and wrapped all of the furniture that required wrapping (such as our 46" flat screen TV that we tried to pack ourselves but discovered the box from U-haul was not going to work). They broke down several pieces of furniture such as a large PAX wardrobe system from IKEA and wrapped the pieces appropriately. We had no breakage of any of our items! I've never seen a moving truck loaded so perfectly before. Your staff really knows how to properly load the items to ensure that the contents will be safe. Then your team got right back on the road to Boston! On top of that, they were willing to unload the full contents of the truck upon their arrival in Boston! The stamina and energy of your team is simply amazing! Due to personal circumstances we needed for our contents to be unloaded the following day. So the fact that your company was able to keep our belongings stored overnight and then for the same set of movers to be available the next day to unload everything was super convenient for us. Hiring your team to help us with our move was one of the best decisions my husband and I made! I highly recommend your services and will certainly use them in the future for our next move. Yesterday was my first move using professional movers, and it went great. These guys went above and beyond in terms of customer service. I had been given a two hour start window with an estimate of 3-5 hours for the whole job. We got a call just before the beginning of the window saying the team was already around the corner from their morning job going quickly. However, when they came to take a look and figure out an action plan for our stuff, we were still scrambling to get done last minute packing, and were totally disorganized with trash everywhere. Greg, Anton and Vlad gave us a few options for the best way to proceed, including ideas like rescheduling, or paying them to pack, and even offering to come back in two hours (at the end of our two hour start-time window) after giving us pointers on the best ways to get everything organized. This last plan was so generous of them, and we did our best to finish everything up so they could come back in two hours (terms for this meant we wouldn't get charged for those two hours, but they would double their travel time costs for visiting twice, and we felt this was entirely reasonable). These guys did a great job moving our things, including some really awkwardly sized and shaped items (like flat files and display units) through really narrow/shallow stairwells. We'd already marked boxes for upstairs or downstairs, and they got everything into place in just under the five hour estimate (including a tricky parallel parking job on a tight street). I have to give Anton's Movers 10 out of 10 and highly recommend them! From getting a quote at the beginning (I worked with Tony) to the actual move itself, everything went smoothly. I moved from Jersey City to Boston - the long distance move was extremely stressful for me to plan. Working with Anton's Movers definitely helped ease that stress. I wanted to use a highly rated moving company and one that didn't cost me an entire month's rent! When I came across Anton's on Yelp, I submitted a request for a quote on their website. The next day, Tony called me to get more info. A day and half later, I received a flat-rate quote that was very reasonable compared to other movers I've researched - and I researched a ton! The day before my move, Sergey (one of the movers) called to confirm the pick up time. I was a little stressed due to the tight timeline of my move day - we had to get everything loaded and leave Jersey City by early morning in order to drive up to Boston and be moved into my apartment building before my building's cut-off time at 6pm. Sergey and Dennis arrived right on time the day of the move, and were super quick and efficient. They were very friendly and professional, wrapping the dresser, mirrors, and fragile furniture in moving pads. They got to my apartment building before I arrived and were already half way done unloading my furniture into my new apartment before I got there. I was very skeptical (and quite honestly, nervous) when I decided to hire them to move my stuff to NY. The moving day happened to fall in one of the busiest moving weekends of the year and I couldn't find any movers with an affordable price (one quoted me 5 times as much as Anton's) or being available at all. The two movers were young Russian guys, but very courteous and careful (I had a long tall planter with water plants and the water didn't even spill after it arrived at NY). They even help fixed my building's elevator so that it could get done quicker. I even offered them multiple bottles of water and coke and they only took the one they needed and didn't try frequent or unnecessary stops. Yes, some of the stuff may not come across as very professional, for instance, I asked if I could sign the contract on the move-out day, which is a common practice that stipulates the movers' insurance policy and liability coverage, etc., but they said I could do that after I arrive in NY. Also, more expensive movers from the past always numbered the boxes when they picked up my stuff in order to make sure that all stuff was delivered, but Anton's guys never did that. All in all, I am very happy with their service, especially in that crazy moving weekend. It may not come across as the most professional movers when it comes to paper work, etc., but they delivered the service well. read more

When COVID hit in March of 2020, we came to our second home in Maine just to assist my Father-In-Law during the pandemic but then decided to fully retire here in Maine. Thus, we needed to move from Boston suburbs to the Freeport-Brunswick, Maine area. After a considerable research of movers, we picked Anton's Movers and couldn't be happier with the work they did to combine our two homes. Moving during a pandemic does have it's risks and so we were pleasantly comforted that everyone wore masks and were proactive to protect themselves and us as they move our belongings. They started packing the truck around 8:00 AM in Mass. and after unloading they pulled out of our Maine driveway at 3:00 PM. They took apart and reassembled different pieces of furniture, beds and even a large refrigerator, with craftsmen like precision. I was really impressed at how they "cleaned as they worked" to keep the move safe and our belongings as clean and fresh as could be. Their professionalism was on full display from the first phone call to the folding of the last protective blanket. The price was almost 50% less than the cost of some of best known movers. This was our first move with movers, and we were absolutely impressed and thrilled with Ivan, Max, and AR. We got quotes from multiple local companies, and Anton's pricing was on par with the lowest quotes, but with outstanding customer service. Our movers arrived at the beginning of our time slot and worked very quickly. They carefully wrapped furniture in blankets then plastic and tape - there was no damage to our belongings nor our walls/floors in the process. When we got to our new place, someone had parked in our designated parking zone. They came up with a creative solution while I awaited the police and began navigating our extremely narrow 2 and 3 story walk up with our bulky furniture. Again, no damage to our belongings nor to our new floors/walls. In our bedroom we couldn't decide on placement for some of our furniture and Ivan patiently waited for us to decide, and helped us move around furniture until we were happy. All three movers remained quick and upbeat despite it being an incredibly hot day without air conditioning. The whole job ended up taking less time than was originally predicted, and we ended up paying less than the price range quoted to us. 3 weeks ago we used Anton movers for moving my daughter from Massachusetts to NYC. We had shopped around for moving companies. I was hesitant about most of them that had quoted. I talked to Anton & Tony a couple of times and each time felt better about their sincerity. They had quoted a flat rate for a truck & 2 movers, in writing & assured me it wouldn't change. Three men showed up on time, to my surprise, on Wednesday afternoon & loaded everything on the truck. They disassembled the bed & vanity mirror, wrapped them carefully. They were done in an hour. Albeit it was 1 room of furniture plus about 40 boxes. They apparently parked the truck in their office lot overnight. We drive to NY. As promised they were at the door the next day at 7 AM. Their goal was to beat the traffic & ours was to avoid paying for their parking ticket. They were done unloading everything in designated spots, assembling bed & mirror in one & half hrs! Nothing broke, nothing was missing. The men were extremely nice, polite, and cooperative. They worked together very well too. I cannot say enough about how satisfied we were with the whole process. No one enjoys moving but these guys made the experience painless for us. I highly recommend Anton Movers. read more

I made a yelp account just to post this review. Anton's Movers is fantastic. Moving never seems to go as planned and the entire process was seamless. I moved yesterday (8/20) from an apartment in Somerville to another apartment in the same area, just a few minutes away. It took a total of 2.5 hours and my initial quote was on point. It was scheduled to start at 9:00 am and around 8:45 I got a call from them to say they were on their way. I'm giving a 5-star rating because I had 3 awesome movers: Sergey, Dan, and Vova S. They were champs! I didn't have an elevator in either building and had a few pieces of very heavy furniture. None of the walls in either apartment were scratched during the move. They took excellent care of all of my furniture and made sure to wrap all of the wood pieces with blankets/ padding so that it wouldn't get marked up. They wrapped my couch, ottoman and lounge chair in plastic as well (and then unwrapped it) and took extra care with the boxes that I had labeled as 'fragile.' They even helped me take my box spring outside to put in the trash! Nothing was damaged, broken, lost, etc. The movers were on time and very efficient. This was probably the least stressful move I have ever made. read more

This is the best moving company. we just used Anton movers from our move from Boston to New Jersey. It was seamless. We had three wonderful movers, Dennis, Nick and Dimitri. They were so polite, courteous, and fast. They also want out of their way to protect our carpeting on the stairs when they moved us into our New Jersey home. It rained very heavily that day as well. We really appreciated the extra care this company took with wrapping our furniture and assembling our beds. Nothing was broken or missing. I really like the fact that they called one hour before they were going to arrive on the pickup and one hour before the delivery. These guys are the best. They really work well as a team. I can't say enough. I will definitely move them again and highly recommend them. Tony was really wonderful, as he responded so quickly to all my several rounds of questions about my move and estimate. I've never had a stress-free move like this one. I sure wish I would have had them from my move from New Jersey to Boston. My move took place the first week of June 2017. I moved from New England to the Tri-state area. I was nervous about the outcome and trusting others to handle my personal effects. When I initially called the office, Tony answered my questions and he was very kind. This set a good initial tone. Arranging date/time and submitting details via online was smooth. On the day of my move there were 3 stops along the way to gather all my belongings. Manny and team were awesome! Manny is "THE organizer" and strategic... which is very necessary when it comes to packing, stacking, and moving. I learned a few things from him too (and I thought I was pretty organized)! Overall, the moving team (Manny, Dima, Andre loading, and Yury unloading) assigned to my move, were punctual and professional. I could not have done my move without Anton's Movers ...hands down; thus, will definitely use again. Last month we had Anton's Movers move a staged property from JP to South Boston, and could not be more pleased with their service. They were schedule to come at 9am, but at 8:45am I received a call that they would be running late due to traffic (which I appreciated), and arrived 9:15am. The two movers were professional, polite and very efficient -- working the entire time, as fast as they could. When I say fast, I also do not mean carelessly -- they were efficient but also super careful with delicate pieces that needed extra attention. You may think a company that charges by the hour would try lagging, or "killing time" --not them. They are good workers, and they are fair. I've experienced movers in the past that were more interested their cell phones, than the service I hired them for. After the service, I later emailed them a question regarding one of the charges. Immediately after, the owner responded, clearing up my confusion. I really appreciated the prompt reply, and the non-automated response. I'm very happy to have found this company, and will continue to use them in the future. Good, fair, moving companies do exist people!!! read more
