Fried catfish, beans & rice, collard greens $4.05

Typical military/hospital/cafeteria food. Not all the food is good here but there's decent variety and it's cheap. LUNCH: Blue plate special (previous days leftover includes main entree & 2 sides for $3.00.) Regular entrees are under $3 and .60 for each side. My favorites are turkey, taco day & lasagna. The salad bar is fantastic. Selections vary but can include romaine, spinach, cauliflower, real bacon bits, chopped eggs, Mexican salad, potato salad, 3-bean, Waldorf, & lots more. Fast serve line has burgers, dogs, grilled salmon, grilled chicken, garden burger, fries, sweet potato fries, chili. Thera a daily soup - under $2. There are also premade salads, sandwiches & wraps if you're in a hurry Lunch is 11-2 but grill closes earlier. Breakfast is also good. Omelettes or burrito made to order for under $2. Self serve scrambled, bacon, hashbrowns, pancakes & more. Hot cereal bar with all types of toppings. Cold cereals, pastries, muffins, bagels.

    Selection of loose leaf teas.

Super cute atmosphere that boast organic ingredients that can be vegan if you choose and gluten free. So may selections of teas! It really is a tea shop so if you're looking for coffee I would not recommend this place for a good cup of Joe.

The roasted chicken - requires 20 minutes to prepare - gyoza (chicken or beef) and the orange chicken are deliciously delectable, and are my favorites. The fried noodles (no bacon is available) are the perfect accompaniment to the aforementioned entrees. Rice is also available. Chelsea is extraordinary at providing consistent superior customer service. She never fails to greet customers promptly and kindly. Chelsea wears many hats as the greeter, server, barista and overall front of house manager. It can be extremely busy, but Chelsea hustles and does her absolute best. So bring your appetite and a dose of patience. Online ordering is a great option. On your initial visit it may be difficult to find, but the discovery is well worth the hunt. It can be daunting to find the entrance, walk through a corridor and netting. But don't be deterred nor frustrated. I highly recommend trying the Sweet Corner Cafe. Say hello to Chelsea for me.

The orange chicken was crispy, flavorful, and coated in the perfect sauce. The coconut shrimp was amazing, and the tempura chicken was so good that you would never guess it was gluten free. We also had the pineapple sausage, gluten free fried rice, and locally sourced organic eggs, and every single item was fresh, delicious, and thoughtfully prepared. Chelsea, our waitress, was on top of everything from start to finish. She was funny, kind, and very educational when explaining the food items and their preparation processes. After running a half marathon today, I was exhausted, and Chelsea genuinely lifted my spirits. It is rare to find gluten free food this good, especially fried items with such great texture and flavor. Sweet Corner Café exceeded every expectation. SERVICE: friendly n' fully staffed INTERIOR: one person/party can enter at a time. No dine-in; just order n' pay. EXTERIOR: in the same plaza/across from Dipped by Dee. Line forms to the right when facing store. Two benches in the line n' two tables with chairs to the left. WAIT TIME: highly recommend making a phone order n' if you can pre-pay over the phone too, even better. Placed phone order at 12pm on a Saturday, was told a 1 hour wait. Got there around 12:55pm n' the line was maybe 10 parties deep. After waiting 30 minutes, entered store to pay n' receive food. In total, about 1.5 hrs. Suggest getting in line immediately after placing phone order bc if unpaid, still gotta get in line to pay. PARKING: free lot that was completely full during our visit, tiny spaces. OVERALL COMMENTS: portion was huge; more than enough for two people. Plate was heavy. They don't skip on the fried rice n' chicken. Spicy ahi was definitely spicy, the kine heat you can't stop eating. The firecracker chicken was yuMmmy n' saucy. They gave at least 6-7 good size pcs. Maybe a combo of sriracha mayo n' sweet chili sauce. You get it all: sweet, savory, with a slight heat. Now the lup cheong fried rice was so good. Not dry at all n' very flavorful. The potato Mac salad was a good cool down n' to cleanse the palate. I'm already wanting it all again, which means everything was Ono!
