Came here for the first time in a while. The prime rib loco moco was cold and tough like it was sitting so that was pretty disappointing. The eggs, gravy, and garlic fried rice were delicious. The Ube pancake was super delicious just like I remembered. Staff were friendly and fast. Theres a good amount of tables to dine at, but it can get busy. Lots of parking, but it's tight so leave your huge trucks at home.

We've been wanting to try this place based on the Yelp reviews. So, we finally made our way here! Free parking is available but when it's busy, you will need to exercise some patience. As we entered the restaurant, it was BUSY!! As soon as a table opened up, we were promptly seated the overall atmosphere is what you would expect at any family diner. A bit noisy but l, it's local family-style. I ordered the corned beef hash and hubby ordered the Da Three-bite Feast. Portions are very generous and the plates have great eye-appeal. Overall, we enjoyed our meal. For me, the gravy was a little salt-heavy for my taste but, looking at the crowd I. The restaurant, take out traffic, and line outside, the seasoning is okay for most others. Our server was wonderfully attentive considering how busy they were. If you haven't tried this place yet, it is worth a visit.

Went to Guieb for breakfast and they have a new menu and new breakfast items on their menu. We tried the strawberry beignet which came 4 with strawberry filling which was very good. I had the Lechon Kawali breakfast come with adobo rice, which was very good and the sauce was also tasty to dip the Lechon Kawali in. My wife ordered her regular adobo rice plate which she always enjoy. Because of the flavor and moist adobo chucks of meat mixed in with the rice.

We ordered the Island Mix and French Toast. The staff were friendly but the food was just okay. I had high hopes as this spot was recommended by a friend. The fish on tbe island mix was not fresh at all and the meat was overcooked and really tough to eat. The chicken was pretty good.

I ordered the Adobo fried rice omelet with a Lechon add on the omelet was quite tasty although the Lechon was mostly fat it seemed like a very fatty cut but at least it tasted decent. The omelet was quite filling and the people working there were friendly, parking can get crowded at certain times of the day. I would go back again.

Had a work brunch there the other day. Spent a good 30-45 mins after our meal discussing work and life and not once were we rushed out. Infact, the staff here kept refilling our coffee and water! The aloha spirit from the staff is impeccable! Oh and unto the food! Between my colleagues and I we ordered their Oreo Cheesecake Pancakes, Adobo Fried Rice Omelette with Lechon Kawali and Crab Cake Benes. I won't go into detail to bore you and lose your attention but everything was delicious and was shared between us. A work team that eats together, stays together and Guieb definitely helped lol. Will be back!

Always a great experience... consistent. Always friendly staff here. We like the Loco Moco, Ube Mar Capone pancakes and Bangsilog! Def a go to breakfast spot. Easy to get to by bus!

Guieb Cafe might just be our favorite breakfast spot in Honolulu. There was a line when we arrived, but it moved quickly and was absolutely worth the wait. The dining area isn't very large, but service is efficient, so the turnaround for dine-in is faster than expected. We ordered Da Local with Portuguese sausage, spam, bacon, tomatoes, white and green onions, and cheddar cheese, paired with garlic fried rice. Every bite delivered. We also tried the Loco Moco Fried Rice with a wagyu beef patty, which was rich, savory, and cooked perfectly. To end the meal, we shared the Poi Mochi waffle made with pounded taro root and served with haupia sauce. It was the perfect sweet finish without being overly heavy. Everything was flavorful, comforting, and clearly made with care. We'll definitely be back to work our way through the rest of the menu.

Guieb Cafe is consistently delicious!! The staff is very friendly and helpful. The menu is full of delicious options. Sometimes there may be a little wait outside; however, it is worth the wait. We have tried the Ube Mascarpone Pancakes, Bangsilog, Loco Moco, Fitness Omelette, and Longsilog. Give them a try, you can't go wrong!

I highly recommend this local hole in the wall spot for some amazing food! It's not fancy but the staff were very friendly. The food was top notch! We had the loco moco with a crab cake added. The crab cake was so different and delicious! It had the texture of a croquette and was the perfect addition to the wonderful gravy, rice, egg, and waygu beef patty. We also had the ube pancakes. They didn't even need additional syrup. They were so flavorful and just the right amount of sweetness. Don't miss this hidden gem!

What do you do when you have a 4 hour layover at the airport? Visit Guieb Cafe! Adobe loco moco was so good. Huge portion. And the Kalifornia Burger was perfect. Order it at Medium Rare or Medium. Juicy and cheesy. Will need extra napkins. The staff was very nice. Food comes out quick. We got lucky and sat right down at 10:30 am. By the time we left the place was packed. Good spot!

We ordered Chicken and Waffles, Ube Pancakes, Longsilog, and a Cali Wrap. My son loved the chicken and waffles, "best ever" in his own words. The Longsilog with over easy eggs were fantastic. The Ube pancakes were delicious, especially the mascarpone, which we cheated and used on the waffle as well. My wife said the Cali Wrap was great as well.

    * Umi pancakes 3.5/5 * Crab cake 4.5/5 * Loco moco 3/5 -Umi pancakes we're nice and fluffy. Needed more purple butter. Was just missing a little bit more of a kick or something special to it. - crabcake was definitely the star of the meal. I don't like seafood, but this was really good. Not too fishy nice egg on top went well with hot sauce. - the Loco mocha wasn't bad but I've definitely had better. The gravy was nothing special and the meat could use more seasoning and a lighter cook.

He described everything with such care that it was hard not to order everything! I'd highly recommend a reservation as there was not an empty table the entire two hours we were there. The restaurant is on the smaller side so it can get quite loud but our table had great conversations and a overall lovely time. Appetizer: We ordered the konpachi hush puppies (apologies, they had a nicer name but this is how they were described to us) and they were delicious! I'm not a lover of fish, but these were so flavorful and the sauce paired perfectly with it. Drinks: I had the meringue di cedri to drink and it was akin to a lemon drop (10/10) it was sippable and lasted my whole meal. Husband had the Hana Koa Rice Breaker, which is one of his favorites as its smooth and pairs well with honestly anything. Entree: You will be missing out if you don't get the lemon risotto. I ordered it with the prosciutto and it may be one of the best meals I've had in Hawaii. The zucchini is done two ways in it: diced to be mixed in with the risotto and thinly sliced and grilled on top of the risotto. The panko crumbs on top really solidified the plate for me as top tier as risotto can get to be boring to eat after a few bites as they can lack texture, but not this risotto! Every bite was a journey and it was a very filling meal. My husband ordered the Korean steak and said it was better than some of the local steakhouses we had gone to. Our friend ordered the spaghetti carbonara and enjoyed it as well. Dessert: We were encouraged to try the Rocky Road ice cream and decided it was a must have when you visit. It was creamy, rich and delectable. We also opted to try the dessert special of the evening which was a Lilikoi cheesecake with a chocolate mousse. The cheesecake had a sour tang to it and the chocolate mousse partner with it to balance it out so it wasn't overly sweet. We loved it and I know in a few days we'll be craving this meal all over again!

France meets Italy - meets Hawaii. I'm still dreaming of this. The burger features a thick, juicy, 8-ounce grass-fed patty made from a custom house-selected blend of short rib, chuck roast, and brisket. Get it with the crispy potatoes. You will thank me. Risotto on point. Luxuriously rich, creamy texture. The rice retains a slight al dente bite in the center, giving it structure rather than letting it become mushy. Prosciutto adds a perfect salty, savory crunch to break up the rich risotto. The only misstep was the fries served with the quinoa burger. They were chalky, served at room temperature, limp, and underseasoned. Excellent friendly informal service. Park at the municipal parking on Bethel St just 1/2 block away. Happy Eating!!

Had a glass of wine and baby had watered down lemonade. Her drinks were put in plastic cups with covers and those horrible paper straws. Eyes always bigger than my stomach, we ordered: - Cornbread - when i grabbed it I thought would be super dense but really wasn't. I thought it was very corny and tasty. Lightly toasted. Honey drizzle which wasn't too sweet...or maybe I just ate the parts that didn't have. Baby ate almost 1.5 pieces and even liked the Jalapeno Butter that I just dabbed on her bread. She said wasn't spicy but think she just didn't have enough. - Bone Marrow - lit it on fire to burn off the alcohol. Pretty sure it ddin't get it all so I cut baby off once I realized it. Other than needing some salt, really good. Choke mushrooms on top. One half was scrawny, but hubs had the other half for leftovers and choke marrow. YUM. - Sunchoke and Brussels - YUM. Baby ate some but was not really thrilled about it. I loved it. - Scallop and Mushroom Risotto - YUM. Delish. Baby liked it too. So much leftovers of everything. Realized when we ate it for leftovers it was all pretty oily and needed a pinch of salt. But otherwise great. Staff really nice and helpful. Love that the place is spread out and open. Bathrooms are not assigned which I'm sure can get gross, but is great to not have to wait for just the women's. There is a big stall which was perf since baby is potty training and had to go #1 and #2! Only thing missing was a hook to hang my purse and her bag. The smoked octopus was sliced in pieces that were too thick and a little too chewy and the andouille sausage and black pepper overpowered the dish. Ordered the bourbon and bone marrow mostly for the presentation. It was WAAAY too rich and needed more bread to go with it. They should've served it with bread that wasn't buttered because the buttered bread even though tasty by itself was just too rich in combination with all of that bone marrow. The dish needed more balance. The ice cream sundae was unremarkable. Would have preferred it served with a choice of hot fudge or the caramel drizzle and since it was plain vanilla ice cream they could've drizzled a lot more caramel over it. The waitress did bring us more nuts when we asked, but they were busy at the time and she was the only server so it took her a while to get to us, and the ice cream was pretty melted by the time she delivered. We got there when they opened at 5 PM and they had two servers at that time. The place wasn't busy so it seemed like they had enough help for the amount of tables that were being seated. An hour and a half later, though, one server was missing (possibly taking a lunch break) and the only server remaining at several big parties to take care of which slowed down her responsiveness to the other smaller tables like ours. The music playing in the background seemed to fit the environment and was pleasant to listen to. It's a pretty casual atmosphere. The prices for what you get are a bit on the high end. Probably wouldn't go back unless someone else is paying. We didn't feel too bad this time because we had a gift certificate which covered most of our bill. Maybe we were choosing all the wrong items and should have just stuck to ordering meat dishes, which they might be better at making (with a name like Livestock). You'll have to check this place out yourself and see if they do a better job with meat and if the prices for those dishes are more reasonable. I gave this place four stars instead of three because the servers were friendly, the atmosphere was pleasant, and the food was mostly okay (tasty enough and filling).

This is the 1st time we tried service dinner ; and based on this experience I'm going to say this…read morespot is better for lunch. Lunch menu has more variety and the dishes are done well (Blackened ahi sandwich is sooo good, truffle fries, chicken katsu ) This review is for the dinner service: Ambiance: it's a good view, it's right on the pier, and it's dog friendly. (4/5) Staff: Hostess - we asked to sit outside and asked for a table near the railings - she told us that the table wasn't available but it was available the entire time we were there and there were several other open tables. (3/5) Waiter: quick service (mostly) & friendly. But didn't refill our water or inquire - tbf he was covering a lot of tables.(4/5) Food: (5/5) Poke Nachos. Order these, you won't be disappointed. Creme Brûlée Cheesecake - this was so good. (4/5) Drink/After 7: I like when the presentation looks like the pic; This did not but it was delicious. (3/5) Garlic chicken bites / average - crunchy but a little bland Edamame / fresh but average Monchong (catch of the day) the fish was fresh but the seasoning was bland Steak fritters- the steak was well cooked and flavorful, but the fries were way over salted and tasted previously frozen. (2/5) The burger - the patties had too much filling and not enough "burger". I got the side salad instead of fries and it's just green leaf lettuce, a little wilted, withe house dressing, and the dressing is not great. Desert slices are small and cost 8.50-13.00 (go down the road to Liliha Bakery instead) Vanilla Caramel Crunch cake - there wasn't a real "crunch" and the caramel layer in the top is way too thick. Chocolate cake - too dense Mango cheesecake - too tart
