A chain of coffee stores that are on the pricier side ($6+), but I do appreciate their Fall Oat Boy and their recent Black Forest Latte. Both of which are quite innovative and flavorful. They have a good selection of baked goods and hot drinks with small tables for gathering, but mostly for takeout. Service is relatively fast but it depends on when you go since there might be a line. You can always order ahead though!

TLDR; delicious coffee! Too pricey to become a regular. This was our first time at a Gregory's Coffee. My husband and I often frequent a different major coffee chain but today we were in the mood to try something new. The barista recommended we try the Fall Oat Boy which was DELICIOUS! No surprise it's a best seller! That said, nearly $7 for a 12 oz coffee is WILD. We'll definitely be back but only in moderation.

The first time I tried Gregorys was in NYC so I was happy to stumble upon this location in DC. The place was clean & inviting. The young lady that helped me at the counter was very friendly. Since I'm a Matchaholic I truly appreciated the delicious Matcha Latte from a familiar establishment.

So my coworker and I are detailed to work Downtown during these times and we needed a little boost of happiness. I decided to walk to Gregory's and upon arrival I was able to sit and downloaded the app and place an online order for me and my coworkers. I didn't feel rushed or overwhelmed and the environment is so calm and relaxing. Definitely a plus for introverted people like me lol My order was well packaged and everything is so delicious, flavorful and worth the money spent. I got a full moon matcha with extra matcha and didn't realize it actually has caffeine!!!!! I am very awake and happy

On the way to one of our tours, I popped in and grabbed a latte from Gregory's as well as a blueberry scone. The service was quick and friendly, and the shop is cute and cozy. This one even had two birds flying around. It was a very cold day, so they probably snuck in. My latte was very delicious and complemented the scone nicely. The scone wasn't like a traditional scone however, it was crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. It wasn't too sweet and had the perfect amount of blueberries and walnuts. The walnuts gave it a nice nutty flavor. Apparently, they have these scattered in various places, including one in Southern California, which I will have to visit when I am back home from DC . Enjoy!

As a matcha lover, their ad outside the door immediately caught my eye! Im like a child when a stranger says they have candy. My friends and I ordered the full moon matcha and matchacado smoothie as it was highly intriguing and it was soooo delicious!! Such unique flavors and I had a great time drinking them. Highly recommend if ur a matcha lover and like to try unique drinks

It was toasty and humid and we were walking everywhere in the DC area with caffeine withdrawal. Gregorys was the closest one to us. We've never seen a Gregorys but learned that it's a chain that's everywhere. Their salted caramel cold brew is so good. The salted caramel did not overpower the coffee they blended together perfectly. I prefer this over Starbucks any day. The decor is modern and cool. They are opening one close to where I live. I'll be trying other drinks for sure

I've enjoyed all of my visits at this Gregorys location. It is a good change of pace from the larger, local chain coffee shops monopolizing the coffee market in Washington, D.C. Gregorys invests in high quality coffee and baked goods. The dining area of the coffee shop is upscale and inviting compared to your contemporary coffee shop. There's almost a feel of dine-in restaurant turned coffee shot. The customer service is always very friendly and in fact, I've been able to spark meaningful conversation with every barista I have encountered there. Order fulfillment has also been consistently quick and accurate. I appreciate that on every visit they always ask to warm the pastries I order. I like their cold brew coffee which is delicious. Overall, a good experience and I will continue to visit when in the area.

We came here twice on our one day trip to DC and had three different drinks altogether. All three were very good. The first was the blueberry dream which is one of their specials now with the choice of espresso or matcha (we picked matcha) with hints of blueberry and butter pecan. LOVED! We came back for the refreshing prickly pear matcha and popular salted caramel cold brew, and both were the perfect afternoon pick me up. Service was quick and excellent. The interior decor gives good vibes. Please open a location in Northern VA!

A Welcome Return to Gregory's Coffee I wanted to give you all an update on my ongoing love affair with Gregory's Coffee here in Washington, DC. Since my first visit, I've already found myself back four times. I guess you could say I'm hooked! I've been a bit of a creature of habit each time, guilty of ordering the deluxe breakfast sandwich and pairing it with their perfectly brewed Americano. Each visit has been a great start to my day. Gregory's unique take on breakfast sandwiches, especially their deluxe on a light and fluffy croissant, continues to impress me. The café remains a clean and welcoming haven, and I've really appreciated the friendly and attentive service from the staff. The outdoor seating has been the perfect spot to enjoy my coffee and soak in the morning vibes of the city. I hope I don't get sick of these breakfast sandwiches because I'm literally hooked on them! Looking forward to another great start on Monday morning. See you all then!

Hey friends! I was working outdoors nearby and needed something warm on my break! So of course I came for a latte lol. This cozy shop offers various kinds of coffee, smoothies, vegan breakfast options, pastries and more! I ordered a matcha latte with oat milk. It was good! I'm also not a huge coffee fan so I'm not hard to please lol. Next time I'll add mocha or caramel for added flavor. Service was very friendly. I appreciate the cashier asking for my milk-type preference. She also checked in and asked if I wanted my drink super sweet or not. Interior is intimate. Good option for telework. Parking is paid and limited. Minus one point because my drink took a while to be ready. I overall enjoyed my visit! And latte kept me warm :)

I'm in search of the best croissant in DC, so I regret not getting the regular croissant on this visit, but the chocolate croissant gave me an idea of what to expect. Buttery, flaky, crispy, with just the perfect amount of sweetness. The typical chocolate croissant was my personal favorite. When we asked what the most popular items were, we were surprised it wasn't the more classic bakery items, but we enjoyed what we tried. We want to go back soon to try some other items as well. Unfortunately, the location in DC has permanently closed and we were still very much in the mood for some pastries... my cousin who is French has previously sang the praises of this Lil French pastry shop, so of course I had to give it a try. I am so happy that I did because I truly believe that I have stumbled upon my new favorite pastry shop in the area! Upon walking in the smell of croissants and almonds and sweet, sweet delicacies filled my nostrils. I basically became the human version of Remy from ratatouille inhaling a delicious bouillabaisse simmering on the stove top for hours....seeing colors and flavors so bright and intoxicating I simply had to have it I walked in and my eyes were instantly attracted to so many delicious options from classics like Palmiers and Napoleons to some unique flavor combos I've never tried before combined like raspberry and pistachio. Of course, I decided to grab a little bit of everything to make an accurate assessment as a YELP Elite should!! My favorite hands-down was the Berry Millefuille. The way the pastry crumbled in my mouth with every bite, combined with the tart, fresh raspberries, and thick flavorful custard.... Was worth every penny. Honorable mentions go to the peach rosemary tart, which was so unique with the added botanical of rosemary with some fresh sweet peach slices on top and a very crunchy tart base. We all enjoyed everything we purchased! I also ordered one of their seasonal specialties, the rosemary latte with skim milk and iced. The flavors were so uniquely crafted to where you could taste everything but everything combined together for the perfect sip. The ladies who greeted us at the cash register were so patient, so kind, and so understanding of my excitement and difficulty deciding and they even helped me add on a little chocolate happy birthday rectangle to the pastry I purchased for my husband! Without a doubt, this is only the first of the many times I will visit the establishment. It was so authentic, so delicious and passed all the vibe checks even from the French side of the family. I was told I have to return when they first open to have a fresh croissant and a fresh baguette that is on par with what you would have in Paris. Even the items in the fridge were made in France and were delicious fruit nectars that were very unique- we purchased a passionfruit nectar that didn't even make it past the doors before we had completely inhaled it and purchased a lychee nectar for later. I am so excited to have learned about this establishment and believe me when I say you must run, not walk, to experience it for yourself. As someone who works in the industry and is very familiar with coffee and coffee shops, I was genuinely shocked by how rude and unprofessional the staff was. I ordered a house latte with an extra double shot, which made it a quad shot, and I also paid for extra ice and requested that it be served in a large cup. It wasn't a complicated order. When I saw a drink come up, I politely asked, "Is that mine by any chance?" The barista immediately told me to "hush" and said, "I'm not talking to you." I found that incredibly disrespectful and completely unacceptable. When my drink was finally handed to me, I simply asked if the quad shot had been added since I had paid extra for it. Instead of answering my question, the barista ignored me entirely, and another employee had to respond. The employee, Taleisha Young, who was wearing glasses, was especially rude throughout the interaction. No customer should be spoken to that way, especially when they're simply asking about an order they paid extra to customize. Customer service and professionalism should be a priority, and this experience fell far below that standard. Unfortunately, I will not be returning, and I will be sharing my experience on other review platforms as well. I hope management addresses the behavior of its staff so other customers don't have a similar experience.
