Unfortunately, some of our furniture was damaged during the process--including a dresser that ended up with multiple gouges on top. When I contacted the company, I spoke with someone named Devontae Smith about filing a damage claim. He informed me that the compensation would be based on the item's weight and the valuation option we selected on moving day. I explained that the dresser weighed about 400 pounds, but because it dated back to 1985, we no longer had a label or purchase proof. After that, I received no further response from the company, which was really frustrating. All in all, I'm extremely unhappy with the level of service and the lack of accountability. I would not recommend College Hunks to anyone who values their furniture and good customer service.
