No sauna No summing pool No locker room One or two of each cardio machine And it's soo small u can fit like 40 people in a room only It's good for introverts and elderly. Im from LA and visiting family here in Concord. I was surprised there were two nearby locations from where I was staying. Decided to check the nearest one in Concord street. It was decent. My favorite location is Soledad Canyon because of their stretching area (purple area). This location doesn't have that but they do have a separate room for that with mirrors and all. It was clean and have signs everywhere to clean machines after each use. They also have cleaning supplies readily available. their selection of machines were def up to par and I was able to do my usual full body work out with what they had. I would definitely come back to this location. As far as staff, I didn't really interact with anyone. read more

I am so happy my gym is finally open! You don't realize how much the gym helps with your mental health. I've gone every day and feel a change in my mental health. You do have to reserve a time slot which I prefer since it only allows a minimum amount of people in the gym at the same time. Mask are required and hand sanitizer is provided in a couple spots around the gym. They also provide a spray bottle to make sure you are wiping down the machine when you are done using it. read more

This gym became my best decision. I started my membership Jan 2024. I had always been a 24hr member but those gyms are ALWAYS PACKED and dirty. I'm glad Anytime fitness is small, pretty much every machine is available anytime before 5pm and after 8pm. I was hesitant on the price at first, but honestly, this gym has improved so much in my 8months of coming. So many new machines, staff is incredibly nice, and the gym is ALWAYS clean. Even the members are on top of re-racking and sanitizing after every use. All of this justifies the price for me. read more

Bathrooms are disgusting, no AC, Gym is filthy and has a poor layout of equipment rude members. I literally had an incident where I could have been hurt as well as a separate incident with a Karen only to receive a call from the manager questioning me. Normally I would have not taken such offense to this however the call to me should have been after an investigation had been done. Which he confirmed he hasn't done. The guy didn't even check the cameras. I realize ever gym is individually owned. I won't spend my money where I'm harassed and Karen and Ken's can treat people however they want. read more

This place is alright. You get what you pay for. The machines are limited (1 stair master but usually there's no wait) For the most part they have paper towels and cleaning spray to disinfect your machines after you're done beasting. When I first signed up with my husband, they messed up the billing and it was difficult to get the refund needed to fix their mistake. They tried to make the situation better by giving goodie bags, but I feel like there shouldn't of been a mistake in the first place, you're messing with people's money. The staff is okay. Sometimes they greet you, sometimes they don't. I guess it depends on their mood, it's all good, no biggie. I canceled my membership because the pandemic hit and I got a tread+ from peloton. Best decision I've made. It's pricey but if you think about the money you spend on a membership it's worth it. read more

I love coming here. I have been now for at least two months and find it great to come when its empty. The gym is clean and everything works well. You can watch tv, listen to music or access the internet right from your cardio equipment. There are enough weights and room to get a good work out. I like to use the classroom for my own solo workout too. The yoga class is great! The staff are friendly! The only gripe is early morning workouts and waiting for the shower. This location was pretty clean and had a nice exercise room and stretching space outside in addition to cardio and weights. It looks like they have nice class offerings as well, which are advertised on the bulletin board. I only gave it four stars for four reasons; 1.) The bathroom on the right smelled BADLY of urine; 2.) No stair climber; 3.) No water bottle station; and 4.) Overhead music is too loud (I had my headphones tuned up so high it hurt and could still hear overhead music). The reason I call out the stair climber and water bottle station is because there are many locations that have them. I visit a LOT of Anytime Fitness and Planet Fitness locations and I think it's important that each chain deliver the same basic things. Water bottles are hard to fill when turned at an angle to fit under the water fountain stream. It confuses expectations and experience when you go into a different location and can't compete the workout you like to do. read more

This gym is terrible. The layout is awful, it's small, lacks most equipment serious lifters need, and just all around sucks. It's essentially a small step up from a hotel gym and the crowd is about as serious as you can expect from essentially a commuter gym. If you are a casual fitness person it might fit your needs. read more

I've been in town on business and visited this gym each of the last two days. It isn't crowded - as many others have said. The equipment is clean and in good repair. Everything I needed to get my training in. I'm prepping for a power lifting meet. Plenty of parking. Boy am I frustrated with this gym. I had a membership for a couple of years that I would use when I was unable to get to my primary gym. This gym is very basic, but that isn't what makes this gym bad. At first, there was a lovely office staff who kept things clean and had wonderful customer service. He left, and the owners took over the job (I'm assuming to save money). Here are my reasons for my one star rating of this gym. *One of the owners is a close talker who tends to come on very strong and creeps a lot of people out. The other is nice and remembers your name, but when approached with an issue, tends to lay blame on others and has a lot of excuses. (More to follow about that later). *The gym isn't cleaned as much as it should be. When I complained about the balls of dust that would float around the classroom floor, I was told; "we mop it once a week." She seemed dumbfounded why a once a week cleaning wouldn't be enough. *The members were involved in a vote for a new piece of equipment and voted for a stairclimber. It was announced that one would be arriving, but in nearly a year there still wasn't one. When asked about this, the blame was placed on others and there was no real resolution. *I cancelled my membership in the beginning of the month (Nov. 8), but they already billed me on 10/29. On the 28 of November, I was charged for another fee of $39.00. I emailed Sarah about the error, and (after a few months of going back and forth), was sent a message that stated; "The billing company reviewed your account and it was billed in accordance with your agreement. If you ever decide to come back this way, we would be happy to give you your first month free. The stair mill has been ordered. We wish we could of got it sooner but with having to replace the studio floor it pushed purchasing it down the road. It will be here in April." *I will NEVER go back to that gym. They took money out of my account AFTER it was cancelled. read more

I've been around gym all over Concord/Walnut Creek area and I'd have to say this gym has the best vibe. Members are respectful, awesome group fitness instructors, super clean, has a lot of natural day lights peeking thru their windows, it's never too crowded, the bathrooms have good smelling soap and are always clean, genuinely nice and friendly staff, they have all the equipment like at big chained gyms, their wet towels and their hand sanitizers are always around also and they're the nice smelling natural kind (not the scary toxic chemically kind), parking is easy here too. During the daytime, this gym has a feeling of going to an expensive hotel gym. It's quiet with sunlight peeking thru the windows and trees all around it. It feels zen doing Yoga and stretching there. read more

Just became a member through my health insurance, and the it's good to know that Anytime Fitness allows full use of services as a basic member. This gym is very clean and the equipment/machines are high tech and well kept. Big upgrade to my previous gyms. Even though this place is small, I didn't have to pause my workout waiting for equipment at peak time like the bigger gyms. It has only been one session so far. Only wish there was a locker for my stuff, since I bring my gym bag and change of clothes. Don't want to just stick into a cubby. But that is just a tiny necessity, and nothing to complain about. This is such a pleasant gym overall. The place is clean, I have never seen a piece of equipment broken, the staff is genuinely friendly. Members are polite, too. It's just the perfect size gym to work out, with everything you need for a good workout. I also work out with a trainer, Dennis Clemonds. He knows when to push, when to encourage, when to ease up. Dennis has been helping me get the result I want. I'm halfway to my goal now. I'm very happy with my fitness progress so far. Started here when the Big C Athletic Club closed for "two weeks" around Oct. 2016. Note it is still closed as of Jan. 18 2017. Anytime Fitness is much smaller in size but WOW what a well run and extremely clean facility. I will keep coming here even if the other place opens up again. The equipment it top of the line a step above the other place for sure. The owner and employees here are very nice and friendly. Everyday the gym is being cleaned and always looks like brand new. I go almost every day and love it. The music is not too loud (my opinion), the temp is comfortable. Wi-Fi is included and works great. Don't hesitate to give it a try. read more

Signed up in May and I love it! It's clean, spacious, and staff is nice! I'm a shy person and hate working out around a lot of people and this place is awesome. Pros: - never packed inside so I can workout without feeling claustrophobic - they have a room that they hold workout classes in but it's always empty when I go at night so I get it all to myself to do certain workouts - super clean inside, bathrooms are very clean..and they have 3 bathrooms to use Cons: - can get pretty warm in there, wish they had AC on to get air flowing but it's not bad enough for me to knock down a star on my review because a little extra sweat never hurt nobody- I just bring a towel with me. Only once was it really bad where I felt like I was dripping sweat but hasn't happened since. I'm so happy I joined this gym and I love that they're open 24/7! read more

This is a GREAT Anytime location. Its clean, the water fountains work, and it has three restrooms. It also has a big classroom which you can use for stretching if there is no class going on. They have a full spread of machines and weights, TVs on the walls, and lots of attachments for the cable stations. They also have internet going to the equipment. Its not very crowded either which is so nice in this day and age of overcrowded gyms. It only loses one star because: 1. The zoomba class on sundays sometimes does NOT close the door. The music they play is awful im afraid and you hear it throughout the gym because its on the small side. So you are literally stuck listening to them. Thats about it. I come here regularly I really like it. Also see my review of the OTHER Anytime fitness gym in Concord, which I gave one star. If you are picking between the two, pick this one. The management in this gym seem to know what they are doing whereas the other - not at all. read more

I've been a member here over a year and I have to say my experience with Anytime Fitness has been absolutely positive... And life changing. I started out using some of the cardio equipment too get my burn on. After about 6-7 months I hit a plateau. I was no longer seeing the results I wanted so badly to see. After discussing this with a staff member she referred me to Gwen Murphy ( a personal trainer) I was a bit skeptical but put my reservations aside and met with her. After our initial session I decided to take the plunge and sign up for some sessions. Well that was months ago and I am still seeing her. She has taken my average workouts and transformed me into an athlete. Not only have I gained strength and Mobility, I have gained a higher self confidence. Being someone who suffers from chronic pain I seriously can't believe how much better I feel today, then I have in years. Gwen not only takes into account my strengths and weaknesses she takes the time to customize my workout for my personal needs. I plan on continuing achieving my fitness goals with Gwen and Anytime Fitness! read more

My trainer cracks me up, so I'm getting a good core work out while I'm there. I'm not gonna rant about how awesome she is because she's probably reading this and I don't want her to get a big head, but she's pretty dope. I'd suggest anyone who doesn't mind working with people taller than you to work with her. She gets my humor and puts me in check whenever I step out of line. When I'm being a little whiny bitch she finds alternative ways to make me not a little whiny bitch. She really goes out of her way to encourage me and makes sure I'm not slacking or letting my fear of rubber objects ruin my work out. I'm 30 and I did my first official squat (with little assistance) by myself and you wouldn't believe how she made me feel. Remember when you were like 3 and you pooped in the potty for the first time and your parents were like "yaaaaaay!!!" And you felt like you were on top of the world? That's how she made me feel when I did my first legit squat, you don't get those feels often these days. Anywhoo, you can't spell Wen without Gwen and I suggest you go and ask for her or you'll never get that first poop in the potty happinesses again, she's legit the best. read more

Just large enough to accommodate 6 types of aerobic equipment, weight machines, all imaginable free weights, TRX, classroom, mats, balls, water fountains, showers, etc. The staff is very accommodating, personal trainers are available and cleanliness excellent. I love this place! I've been coming here for about 6 months and I can't say enough great things about it. The staff is super friendly and their trainers are very knowledgeable. I like that it's not enormous, and not packed like a lot of other big name gyms and it has a lot more laid back attitude. People who come here aren't here to take selfies at the gym, they're in the zone focusing on what they're doing. Every once in a while you'll get a group of people working out together but that's once in a blue moon. The classes they offer are also pretty great. I enjoy the Zumba class on Wednesday taught by a super cute and talented couple. They make working out pretty enjoyable. Overall I have made some big strives in my personal fitness and I owe it all to this gym. read more
