Unfortunately, my recent experience with the manager makes it hard to recommend right now. I was billed twice for my membership due to what appeared to be a billing error on the gym's end. An associate worked with me to resolve it, and as far as I knew, the issue was fixed. About a week later, however, the same double-billing issue happened again. When I brought it up with the same associate, he advised me to speak with the manager directly. A few days later, I sat down with the manager and explained the full situation: I had been charged twice, an associate had already tried (unsuccessfully) to resolve it, and I was now dealing with the same problem again. Throughout the conversation, the manager came across as visibly disinterested and annoyed. When I jokingly suggested we could call it even if I just grabbed a protein shake from their fridge, he responded with, "I don't see why you think you're entitled to one. It's not my problem." When I explained that I felt entitled to a refund -- both because the double billing was their error and because the issue persisted even after I'd already sought help from an associate -- he flatly refused. He then told me he intended to write up the associate who had tried to help me, which frankly felt like retaliation for the associate simply doing his job. Afterward, I mentioned what happened to another staff member, who wasn't surprised at all and openly referred to this manager as the "worst manager" they'd worked under. This gym has real potential, but as long as this manager is in charge of handling member issues, I don't see it living up to it. I the meantime, I recommend UFC Gym, 24 Hr Fitness or even Planet Fitness. I sincerely hope upper management takes note and makes a change.

They just happened to starting their Summer Fitness Challenge. Needless to say, it was one of the most profound and impactful decisions I have made in a long time. In the nine weeks since starting, the changes I have undergone have been nothing short of extraordinary, and people are noticing. The workouts, though challenging, are excellent. The patience of the staff, the atmosphere of the club and the motivation to progress is second to none. TFX has been a true difference maker and I cannot thank the staff and coaches enough!

I had signed up with the gym for 6 months but I quickly fell off the wagon and ended up gaining it all back plus some. My head was not in the right space. I made lots of excuses as to why I shouldn't or "couldn't" go. As my 40th birthday approached a year later I decided to do it again. This time losing a little over 17lbs and I had a shift in my headspace. I was ready for the commitment to myself and I signed up for another 6 months at the gym. I had to find what worked for me. The first challenge I was going to the gym after work which was horrible. It's hot, i'm already tired.. So this time around I switched to mornings! Class started at 5:45am (5:00am now!!) I get my workout done and I am a happy camper. The workouts are great! They really push you but there are modifications given if you need them. Also, time flies in the gym. These workouts are fast paced and get your heart racing. It's a good combo of cardio and weights. The coaches are great, Ale' , Felicia, Gaby and Ashley- they have formed a great supportive community where I am making new friendships and feel like I belong. I used to hate going to the gym.. now I look forward to it!

He is truly knowledgeable in proper form and the training I acquired from him have transcended across time and gyms I have gone to since then. I started to go to a new gym in the area I live in now and although the trainers there are great they do not compare to the proper training I received from Bob. Even when working out at other gyms not affiliated with bob I am always complimented on my form and technique. I have to say out of all the gyms I've been to: FBBC, UFC, Planet Fitness, The Camp, and many other local family owned gyms, Concord fitness boot camp aka Fit Body Boot Camp concord has been the absolute best! I lost weight but the change was not just in appearance. I actually felt stronger and could notice the difference in my strength. My energy and endurance was like my teen days. The crazy part is appearance wise this gym has been the least impressive. But Virgil makes the small space functional and you really don't need much more than this. When I showed up for my first trial the location made me hesitant. Virgil's customer service was great and he made me feel welcomed. The other members were friendly and there were all ages and body types. I stayed and loved it. Everyone was extremely helpful and motivating. They all push you to finish your reps, to keep moving and not quit, and if you struggle they make you feel okay with modifying while teaching you ways to work on it until you can one day do what you're struggling with. It was hard but it seemed like within days my body learned how to handle doing sit ups and push ups. Another major part is nutrition. Virgil helped me with a shopping list and meal ideas. He is respectful but also doesn't sugar coat. With each weigh in he reminded me what I needed to do to stay on track. I also learned how to count calories. If I still lived in the area I would see about joining again. If I didn't give it 5 stars it is solely because of the cost. When I went it cost around by $300/month. Is it worth it? Yes. With reassurance from the owner (whose phone number was on Google), it was indeed open for business, I was excited to get moving for my Friday workout. I was introduced to the owner and other people who showed up for the class and I could tell they were regulars. The place looked pretty legit as you know I love legit gyms :-) I was asked to disinfect the bottom of my shoes as street shoes aren't allowed on the floor, since we laid on them for floor workouts. That made me feel better because I ain't tryna rest my head on a floor where people before me don't know where to walk sometimes and you don't know where they come from ahem, SF CITY STREETS!!! This was my first Bootcamp class in a long while so I was pretty thankful that Virgil (owner and trainer) allowed me to modify my workouts. These 2 in particular have been amazing stepping up and covering even last minute when needed. On Thursday Nikkia did an amazing moon salutation class in honor of the full moon. It was an honor to be a part of her class. She's been subbing a lot lately- and it's a pleasure to watch her shine in all of these various classes. Her love and knowledge of yoga really comes thru. As well as some of the classes I've taken with Veronica lately- she's been teaching vinyasa on Wednesdays at 10:30 and I've been really enjoying it. She has such a kind heart and open spirit. I started also going to her 8 am Saturday morning yoga as well after meeting her in the vinyasa class and loving her teaching style. Both of these instructors take time to really explain body positioning and will gently guide students into proper alignment when needed. I love that we have so many weeks with Nikkia subbing so we can be building and growing in each class. Please more classes with both of these instructors. They both have such a calming presence I also love that they each bring new material and music to each class and we aren't just repeating the same moves over and over again So refreshing- this energy will keep me coming back

The gym and locker rooms are pristine but a lot of members just drop their towels on the floor rather than place them in one of the many hampers provided for that purpose. Also, I noticed a lot of members skipping the wipe down after using equipment. it's okay to wear workout clothes in the sauna, which is unsanitary. It's used as a gym annex with everything going on from shadow boxing to Bikram yoga. Not a very relaxing atmosphere. Those are the issues that kept me from giving it 5 stars. In addition to the sauna, there's a steam room that seems to be a bit more calm. Other than the few issues I described, it's a great place to work out.
