What an excellent experience! From communication, preparation, and execution. Everything went smoothly. I contacted Lidia and she has been responsive every time I've reached out to her. Once we got a date, time, and details ironed out, she wrote out a contract and all I put down a deposit. As the date got closer, I contacted Lidia again to make sure we were still good. She is quite a busy lady so I was pleased that she remembered my event and knew that it was coming up and assured me not to worry. The day of the event arrived and her folks came on time. Oscar and Pedro were professional and courteous. They introduced themselves and set to work. They had their own table but it's good to have a couple more tables for their set up. The food was cooked and ready at the time promised. All the food was good: the meats, the grilled veggies, the salads, beans, rice, the salsas, etc. My guests were complimenting on how delicious the tacos were. We ordered for 50 people. Everyone ate yet we still had a lot of leftovers! Fifteen minutes before the allotted food serving time, Oscar gave us a heads up for last call. Everyone got in line again. When it was "closing time," Oscar informed us that we can take all the leftovers and so we brought out all our own trays and containers to take all the food. I have been in contact with Lydia the past 4 years to help with my water polo team's banquet. She is always available when I need a caterer and the food is so delicious. The spread is great and they take their time with set up to make sure everything is ready before guests arrive to eat. I love that they set up some decor with the food. Terrible customer service and doesn't honor their word/agreement. If I could give zero stars I would. Extremely disappointed with the customer service I received from the lady in charge. The company failed to uphold their commitment. The person in charge offered me a discount via text but when I followed up with her via text, she accused me of harassing her. Despite only speaking with her once on the phone, which she neglected to return my call as promised. Her accusation of harassment is horrifying and appears to be a tactic to avoid honoring the discount I have in writing. I am appalled by her unprofessional behavior. We had a surprise party and we booked them in advance. They arrived on time to set up and prep. They were ready to serve when promised. Anytime is Taco Time! Tacos all day everyday. Jose and Josh were on fire at our company event at the Washington Outpatient Surgery Center. From 11am-1pm, they fed all our employees with the 3 different types of tacos they had (Carne Asada, Al Pastor, and Chicken), rice, beans, grilled veggies, and the garnishes they had like cilantro, lime, radishes, salsa, onions, and grilled jalapeno peppers. Everything was really fresh and they were very generous with the portions they gave out. To be honest, I probably ate a total of about 10 tacos. Great tacos - one of the best ones I've had. Sad that they don't operate outside of catering events. These guys did an event at my company - their set up wasn't anything fancy. 2 or 3 guys, each cooking meats on these portable grill things, plus a table of toppings (salsa, sauces, cilantro, onions, etc). If I remember correctly - we had about 3 or 4 meats to choose from and the guys will put it on the tortilla for you. You then go and add the toppings yourself. It wasn't the most glamorous set up, but it was simple, fresh, and the food was good. I went back as they were wrapping up and grabbed some tacos to go. As other reviewers had wrote, it looks like you can keep the leftovers, and we definitely had quite a bit at the end. I've never seen so much chopped cilantro in one spot! Loved them! We first had them at my husbands hockey play-offs, got their info and then used them for a taco brunch at our place the day after our wedding for about 100 people. We worked with Lydia and she was great. They showed up about an 1.5hrs before the event to set up everything up and stayed 3 hrs after that. We had 3 types of meat and added on the rice & beans. Everyone LOVED the food! One of our guests texted us a few days after asking for their contact info so they could have their friend also use them for an event. Hired this catering company to host my Baby Shower. Apparently they're closed on Sundays, but made an exception since I booked them so far in advanced! Everyone at the party was raving about the quality of food! It's absolutely delicious! The only thing I would say needs to be worked on is communication. It's sometimes difficult to get a hold of owner and I didn't get confirmation, total or head count until morning of. Luckily, it all worked out but I can see this could stress someone out. PheNOMNOMNOMenal. Anytime is Taco Time catered my aunt's 50th birthday a couple years ago, and though I had nothing to do with planning that event, I did recall enjoying the tacos. So, when it was time to start planning my boyfriend's graduation party, I decided to give them a call. I got pricing for 50 people (their minimum), and even with additional accoutrements, aka rice and beans, it worked out to be under $9 a head. Awesome. The day of the event, they arrived promptly, were quite personable, and even now, one month after the party, I'm receiving compliments on how great the food was! As someone who plans events with some frequency, I found the entire process to be nearly stress free, save for not having a contract beforehand, and I would highly recommend them to anyone who is playing host to a large crowd. The menu includes five meat choices, of which you can choose up to four: carne asada, al pastor, chicken, chorizo with potatoes, or tongue. Since we didn't have a lot of intrepid palates, we chose the first three, and as per our request, they brought a second helping of carne asada as our "fourth" selection. Besides the corn tortillas, they also provide cilantro, grilled onions and jalapenos, radishes, limes, red salsa, and green salsa. For an additional $60, you can also get a ton of really great rice and beans. Footnotes: - They don't provide plates, napkins, or silverware. - For payment, they accept cash or check. - Serving time runs for three hours, and they'll arrive for setup about 1.5 hours prior to service. read more

We had our son's Eagle Scout Court Of Honor catered by Anytime Is Taco Time. They were WONDERFUL! The 2 employees showed up right on time and were ready to go. The food was ready promptly after the ceremony was finished, everything was fresh, delicious and plentiful and the service was great. We had chicken, beef and pork tacos with rice and beans plus all the 'fixins'' for 100 people. It came out to a little more than $6.00 per person for pretty much all you can eat. I was recently at a party where the food was catered by Anytime is Taco Time. The two guys set up a grill station in the back yard. There were made-to-order tacos, your choice of carnitas, chicken, beef or chorizo. They lightly grill small, soft tortillas, fill with your choice of meat, and then you add condiments as you wish, such as jalapenos, onions, etc. There were also rice and beans as sides. Let me say that I have been a Mexican food lover my whole life and absolutely consider myself to have a discerning palate. These tacos were PHENOMENAL!! And I am not exaggerating when I say that their refried beans were the best refried beans I've ever had, and I have eaten a LOT, in many different restaurants in S. Cal, here in the Bay Area, and Arizona. I would not hesitate for a second to have these guys cater a party at my house. In fact I'm thinking of an event I can host just so I can use them! At the recommendation of a coworker, we had them for my son's 1st birthday party. We rented out a community center for a 2 hour party. We agreed to have them come and setup at 2:30pm with service to start at 4pm. They came around 3:10. The food wasn't ready until 4:20ish when a good amount of our guests had already arrived. We ran out of tortillas in the middle of the party. At the end, we had a large bowl worth of meat left. The guests were happy, the meat was good (al pastor, chicken, carne asada, chorizo), but being so late and running out of food is a seriously bad thing for a birthday party.
