    Fresh Made Tortillas. BOMB!
    Ter L.

I got a very last minute invite to accompany my Little to a hosted event. Free food, why not!?? We arrived to the shindig and I immediately noticed the filled plates of tacos that continues to pass me by. No joke.... I suddenly got super excited and was ready to tear ish up!! [Don't mind me & the effect that food has on me. Lmao.] Raquel had their whole setup underneath a two tents. One being the cooking station and the second being the condiments area. Everything was organized well and although the line for tacos were long, Raquel's crew were prompt and very efficient. So here's the rundown: There were 4 types of meats that are offered. -Chicken -Carnitas [pork] -Al Pastor [pork] -Carne Asada [beef] The tortillas are handmade & pressed on the spot. The condiments included onions & cilantro, two types of salsas, shredded cheese, lime wedges, and grilled speared jalapeños. The offerings also came with a side of rice and beans. Food was delicious and the tortillas are seriously THAT damn good- I could easily eat them plain. The fresh tortillas were slightly crisp and charred in all the right places which added to the overall taco experience. Trust and believe, Raquel's crew has this down to a science!! FYI: Meats were seasoned well but the chicken was a bit dry for my tastebuds. Keep in mind that the charred peppers are HOT. They don't play!

Hey there party People…read more Decided to venture into Willow Glen today on the hunt for something new to try. Boy howdy did we hit the Mother Load with "The Table". We hit the Brunch hour and the place was rocking. We were able to sit right down amazingly. There is a fabulous patio to people watch and enjoy the California weather. Our server Charles was really great. He walked us through the menu giving us the 911 on watch to order. Most of the plates were perfect shareable bites. Making it easy to try multiple plates and really get your inner Foodie on. We started with the Seasonal Banana Pancakes with crushed walnuts and cinnamon maple syrup. Inside the pancakes were fresh bananas and the walnuts were crushed very small but added a great texture. Moving on to the Chicago Steak sandwich don't get confused but in Chicago they refer to Roast Beef as steak. The Au Jus dip was very flavorful without being a salt bomb. Loved the potato roll they used all round a killer sandwich. Going a little outside the box we tried the Jerk Chicken Sandwich. The pineapple slaw with this amazing peppery chutney type sauce played so well with the acid of the pineapple. Another must have sandwich. I ask you how can you go to a new restaurant and not have some dessert. With everything else being so good our expectations were pretty high and we were not disappointed. The Giant Profiterole is exactly that GIANT and stuffed with White Chocolate Gelato and Hot Chocolate Sauce that you can drizzle over the top. To fricken die for good. If you are in Willow Glen and you don't stop here you are missing out on something wonderful. Be kind to one another

When we were seated, we were given a list of items that were not available. I originally wanted to try the pancakes but ended up ordering the chicken sandwich instead. This was genuinely one of the worst chicken sandwiches I have ever had. It was extremely gristly, fatty, and made with dark meat, which felt like an odd choice for a chicken sandwich. I'm not sure why this cut of chicken was used. The fries were alright, but they did not come with the sandwich and cost an additional $5. Our total came to almost $90 for three entrees with no beverages. I was especially frustrated because my sandwich was inedible. For the price and quality, I will not be returning and would not recommend this place.

A blend of learned techniques from the Western influence of French and Californian sourcing and techniques, with inspiration in ingredients textures and influence of what high end Asian American dining looks for. I genuinely believe the restaurant has such a high bar and it just takes one big publication to recognize and the fireworks can begin. And I just want to specifically call out the 3 pearls dish. What an incredible dish. Three pearls where you find a match between the crunch and pop between the peas razor clam and roe. The texture between the tapioca and roe. The salinity from the roe to the oysters and clam. The idea of "pearls" with oysters and clams. The whole dish is so harmonized on so many levels. This is a stunning dish. The restaurant has a cozy and intimate atmosphere, and the service is attentive without being intrusive. Each course is explained when it comes out, which adds to the experience. The food is creative and well presented, mixing Korean flavors with a more modern, fine dining approach. Some dishes stand out more than others depending on personal taste, but overall the execution feels thoughtful and consistent. It is definitely on the pricier side and the fixed menu means you do not have many choices once you are seated. Portions are not very large, so this is more of a slow dining experience rather than a place to go when you are very hungry. Overall, it is a good place for a special night out or date, especially if you enjoy trying chef driven tasting menus. Not the best option if you are looking for casual Korean comfort food or strong value for money.

When walking, we missed the restaurant initially because this place is clearly, a hidden gem, especially being hidden along the nightclub strip. We were blown away by the curated vibes. From the thoughtful decor to The Office being projected on the wall. It felt hip, fresh and refined. We decided to craft our own drinks - Arnold Palmers, his favorite. But they only had sparkling lemonade, which actually made it even better. We shared a salad that had some cooked pears and squash alongside the greens, walnuts, cranberries and blue cheese. I do feel like the cooked sweet elements overpowered the salad with their sweetness and textures a bit. Wondering if a refreshing pear for crunch or more dressing could have brightened it up and provided a salty, sweet balance. I ordered the Short Ribs with a parsnip purée and roasted carrots and it did not disappoint. Everything paired beautifully together, perfectly salted and cooked. I finished the entire plate. Dad got the Pork Chop and while it was overcooked, he loved the flavors happening in the dish and was pleasantly surprised by the refreshing treatment of the kale. The staff was attentive and very friendly. Overall a great experience. We would definitely come back!
