I ordered a taquero from them for my birthday last July. Found them on Yelp and they're only a few streets away from my house. Booking was super simple. Reached out to the number, they took down what I wanted for the day and let me know how to make a deposit. Once I did, I got a text pretty quickly confirming. A couple days before they called to confirm and I was happy with the customer service. On the day of the event, the young man arrived on time and got setup pretty quickly. The food quality was good and cooked well. No complaints from the guests and the salsas were spicy, how my husband like em'. One thing I think that could have been better was the drinks! I was looking on Yelp for taco catering for my daughter's first birthday, and I found several options. The one that I used before was not available, so I sent inquiries to several places, and I got quick response from Victor, owner of Camacho's Tacos. His quote was very reasonable, so I decided to go with them. We communicated through phone and text messages. Everything is up front and clear. Victor was also pretty good with responding to messages. The day before the event, I sent Victor a friendly reminder about the detAils of the event and found out from him that he would be in Hayward for another event, and his mom and sister would be at mine. I was a little disappointed because it wasn't expected. However, on the day of, his mom and sister showed up and started working right away. Both of them were very nice, calm and genuine. We even paid them a wrong amount of balance at first but they never showed any attitudes. Instead after awhile, they just politely informed me that it was incorrect and showed that they were very understanding about that. Great people, great personalities, very easy to work with. For the tacos, they were gooooooood!!! They prepared the food on site and started serving after 30-40 minutes. And when they had 30 mins left, they asked me to let my guests know to do another round of tacos. All the leftovers were transferred onto our containers.
