how this establishment has 4 stars is beyond me. we explained all of our allergies, the waitress seemed clueless but reassured it was fine to say the least they were not accommodating to allergies, chicken tastes absolutely horrible, broth was salty and lacked flavor. customer service was sad to say the least. definitely taking the drive to a more credible ramen restaurant in the fulton market or literally anywhere but here. for a local i'd put this on my not worth $50 for 2 bowls of something that made me feel absolutely sick to my stomach. read more

The staff was very nice and helpful and the appetizers were okay. Unfortunately the tonkotsu ramen was extremely bland. The thick, rich broth is the best part of tonkotsu, but this bowl was flavorless and watered down. The noodles were okay but the pork was also pretty bland. read more

I was really excited that there is a new ramen restaurant in the west suburbs so came for lunch on a Saturday. The restaurant has easy parking in a nearby lot or in free street spots. It was easy to locate. It is overall rather small but tastefully decorated. The front of the house was understaffed. There is a front desk but there wasn't anyone there, so initially we weren't sure if we should wait or seat ourselves. After several minutes the server came and seated us. It was also a bit slow to put in our order. We tried the takoyaki which had excellent flavor, but some of the octopus was a bit over-cooked and tough. The ramen was beautifully presented but overall underwhelming. I tried the tonkatsu ramen. The broth was rich but not salty enough. The chashu was well prepared. The seasoned egg was perfectly seasoned but the broth was not hot enough, and thus the egg was still cold when I ate it. My husband tried the spicy sesame ramen which was unabashedly spicy but needed more variety to keep it interesting. I think this is a decent choice if you are in the area, but if you want truly delicious ramen I would still recommend driving into Chicago or up to Arlington Heights. read more

So I would give the food 3 stars. I got the spicy Brussels sprouts which weren't spicy and Spicy Tantan Ramen which was meh. I do not recommend it. My wife and I ordered the miso and tonkatsu ramen. The tonkatsu ramen lacked depth of flavor and the broth was bland. I'm not sure how long it takes to build their pork broth, but it just didn't have that umami that I desired. My wife liked her miso soup but said it was a bit too salty. The noodles lacked moisture and therefore felt a bit thin and had an almost packaged ramen feeling to them. I can't say that I would return unfortunately. Although I only live 5 minutes away from the location, I would rather drive into the city or the Hoffman Estates area, where much better ramen can be found. read more

The gyoza and spicy brussels sprouts were very flavorful with solid portions. I ended up getting the Spicy Tantan Ramen which offish made me a ramen fan! Ordered the Tonkotsu ramen, kaisen ramen, and veggie gyuza. I feel like tonkotsu ramen is a staple of any ramen place, however it was really bad. I think they used spaghetti noodles, which is weird because the Kaisen had different noodles. The server was very nice and the place was clean, but the tonkotsu was really horrible. read more

If I could give no stars I would. The food was inedible and I would not recommend to anyone. We ordered the brussel sprout appetizer which was soggy and had no taste-tasted like a piece of wadded up cardboard. The tonkatsu pork ramen broth tasted like dishwater, the pork overcooked and flavorless, the noodles were overcooked and soggy as well. An epic fail across the board. read more

The ramen is fanastic , though I've had better broth. What my absolute go-to is, though, are the spicy brussels sprouts appetizer! Halved, battered with a thin tempura-type coating, and coated in house-made spicy (but not TOO spicy) sauce!! These are ALL you need...and the ramen is just the topping on the cake! read more

My husband and I were excited for this place to open up. We were seated and approached by Franny a very knowledgeable and patient server who went through the various ramen choices and answered our questions. We had the gyoza which were deliciously crispy like I like them! My husband had the Tonkotsu ramen and I had the chicken Paitan Ramen. Both were delicious. There were about 4 other couples when we went and although our bowls did not come out at the same time, I am confident that as the kitchen falls into a routine, they will get that figured out. It took us THREE HOURS to get our food. The food was far from worth it. We ordered from grubhub, which said deliveries from the restaurant were running about 30-45 minutes. After we submitted our order, however, we get an email saying it was actually going to be up to one and a half hours. We thought that was pretty outrageous (and a bit deceiving), but it was our first time eating there so we tried to keep an open mind. Things got worse. At the end of the window we were given, we had to call to check in on the status - they hadn't even started our order yet! Then came all of the issues with the delivery driver. We must have spoken to him five times trying to explain where we were located. We are located on the corner of a fairly busy street and only a mile away from the restaurant, so I don't understand how the driver had so much trouble...but the whole process took over an hour. All in all, three hours later we got our food. I thought the spicy shrimp wonton were very good, but everything else was just "ok". They did end up giving us a discount on the meal, after the numerous calls we made trying to track down our food. The woman who answered the phone was very nice, so there's that. All in all, it was one of the most frustrating experiences I've had trying to get food! read more

I didn't know that could possibly happen but thanks to this place I know now. The pork buns were like sloppy joes. It made such a mess all over the place. If I were you I would not go here.
