Being in an accident is an emotional roller coaster filled with dread, anger, pain, and stress. Firstly, Andre, Carlos and his whole staff were really wonderful. Not only did they have positive, professional attitudes but they also coached me on dealing with the insurance company that was managing my claim. The entire staff alleviated my stress by being consistent, professional and answering every single question I brought their way. They helped me get into a rental vehicle that (although it couldn't replace my beloved vehicle in the shop) got me from place to place with efficiency. They walked me through the entire process. I had $12,000 worth of damage done. It took a reasonable amount of time (6 weeks) to repair, but it wasn't until I took my car to the dealership for an oil change that I realized what an amazing job Andre and his team had done! I just got my car back looking like brand new! I got hit on the passenger side door and fender while driving in a roundabout. My wheel got hit and the impact broke some suspension parts, so I couldn't drive the car away. I learned that night that not many outside of Europe know how to use a roundabout. Thank you to Andre, Nancy, Carlos and the whole crew for doing an amazing job. Not only did I get body work done, but Andre walked me through the whole process of dealing with the insurance companies to make sure everything got done right. They made sure to talk to the reps and adjusters to make sure I got a fair appraisal and that all the information was correct. When all the administrative work was done and it was time to get to the the actual body work, the turnaround was quick and the quality of the work was outstanding. Grade A High Class work and customer service. Andre and Ralph took great care of me! The apartment complex I live in was painting the exterior walls and some overspray paint covered my crystal clear, extra expense, optional factory paint job... Of course, I was highly irritated as I keep my car spotless, and I keep it waxed. Anyway, AP Body Shop quoted me $175 to professionally clean the paint without scratching it and putting on a fresh coat of wax. I was to get the apartment painting company to pay the bill and return the next day to schedule an appointment. Well, the very next day after I complained to the apartment painting company and they said they would pay for the body shop to take the overspray off, someone wiped the overspray paint off of my car... Again, I was highly irritated as I couldn't believe the very same thing I was trying to avoid (trying to unprofessionally take it off that only creates scratches), some idiot did it on purpose - probably trying to help the situation but just made it even worse by putting a million scratches in the surface of the paint. So, I showed Andre the new problems and he said he'd take care of it under the original quoted price. They did the job the very next day and the car is now back to 100% new. They shined it up, put a new coat of wax on it and even shined the tires for me. To top it off, Andre dropped the price by $35 to $140, but I paid him the originally quoted price anyway because I was impressed by their professionalism and quality of work. MUST READ! An idiot hit my car while it was parked outside my apartment and did not have the courtesy to leave a note. I was pissed! I have a lease and I don't plan to keep the car at the end of the lease, so I needed my bumper it to be fixed ASAP, My bumper required paint work. I'm not from the area and if anything like this would happen in the past, either my brother or dad would take care of it. So i started searching around expecting this to be a bad experience because i don't know sh*t about cars. I found AP Body Shop. From the moment I stepped in, EVERYONE was very polite and friendly. Carlos took pictures and provided me with a quote and got me setup to start my insurance claim. I just moved a month prior to this incident and I did not have the "Car rent coverage" in my car insurance because I used to live so close to work, that i can literally walk to it. But now I moved farther from work leaving me without a car to drive to it. So I took the bus in order to save up some cash . Once Carlos knew this, he reorganized his agenda and fixed my bumper within 2 DAYS! I am amazed and grateful for his attention. When I picked up my car it looked spotless. Not only did he fix my bumper he cleaned and detailed my car. The car looked AS GOOD or even BETTER as the day i picked it up from the dealer. Carlos didn't just focus on the bumper, he went around and detailed every spec or scratch that the car had by hand painting it. I was soo happy that day, I made a great choice trusting my car to Carlos. I took my 11 and a half year old PT Cruiser here to be detailed inside and out as it had a lot of paint chipping, scrapes, rust, dings & dents, & inside it was very dirty with stains, faded areas & just overall a sad little old car that I'm selling because I inherited a Honda CR-V. Andre met with me & told me to not put any money into repairing the body damage, which was great to hear & super-honest of him to do so. I scheduled my detailing for a couple of days later, and Andre drove me home (I live 3 miles away) & Nancy picked me up the next day when it was ready. They are fantastic people and did an AMAZING job on my car. The car looks incredible, they smoothed out the dents on the bumper & put matching paint over the scrapes & dings & rusting. This is as good as it gets! I know Andre and Nancy through a friend, and I am thankful that I do. I talked with Andre about minor car issues that I was having and he offered me his card. He reccommended that I keep the card on the visor of my car, and that if I ever got into an accitent to call him before making any decisions. Well, I got into that accident and I am glad that I had Andre's card. I always feel like I am capable of making the correct decisions, but after my accitent I felt like I didn't have any controll. I was not sure what to do so I called Andre. Once on the phone it was almost like my mind started working again. Andre coached me through the whole process. He told me to make sure to get the other driver's information, he reminded me to take pictures, and he had a tow truck on the way within minutes. The other driver was even impressed when I told them that the person who was helping me was the owner of my favorite body shop. The best thing I liked about AP Body Shop is their honesty. They were upfront about the timeline and Andre does great work! Makes it look like factory new, or even better in my opinion. I highly recommend Andre & Nancy! They are professional and treated me like family from day one. Our almost new Honda Accord EX got rear ended and they did a great job putting it together and working with my insurance adjusters. They even hook us up with a discounted price on a rental at Enterprise (which is a few blocks away), our insurance covered it all at the discounted rate... but we wanted a nicer rental so we paid a small difference. As a first time car-buyer, I was pretty devastated when I got into 2 car accidents in less than a year after relocating to LA. I brought my car into AP Body Shop and met with the owner's wife and Carlos. After a short inspection, Carlos the shop manager gave me quotes for the repairs and even provided an extra service to my vehicle despite the fact that I was not yet a customer. I brought my car in after the weekend and dropped it off after that. It took approximately 3 weeks to get my car back after the damage to the front and side was repaired and my car looks like the day I bought it. Exquisite service, awesome people, excellence incarnate. Andre, the owner, was kind from the start, patiently giving me directions to his shop on the phone. I instantly liked his energy, and when I got there, he gave me a warm welcome, then immediately checked out my car. It had several dings and scratches from inconsiderate drivers banging their doors into my car on both sides, along with general wear and tear on the paint job. Andre thoroughly explained exactly what he needed to do to fix it all, and gave me a good price to do it. He did an incredible job. His work is beautiful. (He is a literal artist!) My car looks like it is brand new. Andre is both honest and honorable. He works very hard on each car, treating it as if it were his own vehicle. He is warm, kind, sincere, and genuine. He makes you feel like family. He will give you excellent advice about how to handle insurance issues of all kinds, including how to best work with drivers who hit your car but ask you to not report it, promising they will pay for it out-of-pocket. (He said to get their name, address, and number--and if they will allow it, photos of their driver's license card--as well as photos of their car license plate, and their insurance card, for starters. You will do the same for them, of course. Andre will do all he can to help you do whatever needs to be done in these matters so you can get the money you are owed!) Him and Carlos constantly kept me updated on my car and they were always a phone call away in case I had any questions or concerns. Took it in and Andre and Nancy were so helpful in getting all my information and searching for the best option. Ordered the mirror which was suppose to be in 2 days later around 10, but it came in early so one of the workers called me, which I think is awesome that they made an extra effort. I just got my car back from AP Body Shop and it looks fabulous! This is the third time I have gone to Andre for body work, twice for my Toyota Corolla and once for my Honda CRV. This time, I was sideswiped on the freeway and the whole driver's side was a mess. Carlos did an amazing job with perfect paint-matching and flawless body work. Nancy was super helpful in dealing with the other driver's insurance company and kept me up to date regularly on the repairs. I didn't have to make any phone calls or be present for the claims adjuster. AP Body Shop is just down the street from an Enterprise Car Rental and a Metro Orange Line station, which is really convenient for picking up and dropping off your car. I had the best experience ever at an Auto Body shop with AP Body Shop even though car issues are my biggest pet peeve!!! First off, I'm already feeling pissy about the car situation since somebody hit my car in my parking lot. I work 12-14 hours a day and have zero time to deal with car insurance companies or body shops. Right from the start Andre and Nancy were fast and thorough. They explained step by step how the entire process would work with my insurance company. They were very patient with me. It took forever for me to get my estimate and another few weeks before I could get my car into the shop. When I went to drop off my car Nancy drove me the 2 blocks to Enterprise Rental Cars. She also went through a check list with me about things to watch for at the rental car company that they would try to get me to buy. She reminded me that since insurance was paying for my rental that I didn't need to buy extra insurance coverage. She also said they needed to give me something comparable to my car that was in the shop (not an economy model). She also asked if it was direct bill through the insurance company or if I would have to put it on my credit card first. She then went over and beyond and walked me into the rental car company and stayed there with me till she made sure everything was okay. Andre found more work that needed to be done than what was estimated through my insurance company. Thankfully, he was the one that had to deal with them and he got them to pay more for the necessary repairs. I also learned that they do exterior auto detailing on your entire car. It was so worth it. I had some little spots of road gunk on my car and they removed all of it. My car literally looks like I just bought it. I hope to God I don't need them again for body repair work (fingers crossed that I don't run into anything) but definitely plan on maintaining my car with the exterior auto detail once a year. read more

I get very hesitant to take my vehicle anywhere because I am a female and most of the time shops try to add extra stuff. Being that I come from a family of mechanics I might not look like I know what is legit. That being said this shop is THE ONLY shop I will be taking my vehicle to have body damage repair. Andre and his crew even spotted some mechanical problems I had not been completely aware of and recommended me to another great resource AAA approved. I wouldn't trust this place to change my oil!!! I called AP on a Thursday morning trying to get a seat installation done for my Jeep Wrangler. I spoke with Nancy who was very pleasant and requested I bring the Jeep in so they could assess the job. I arrived about thirty minutes later at a small shop located off Chandler. I was greeted by Nancy and introduced to Andre. The two of them were very personable and offered me a "Bad cup of coffee" which we all laughed about. Andre took a look at the seats and quoted me $230.00. He said basically four hours of labor and if the job went over it would come out of his end. Seemed a little steep for the installation but I didn't want to lug the seats back home so I agreed. Andre said he could have the seats done by the end of the day. I told him not to rush, the following day would be fine. I returned the next morning and the seats looked great. I asked Andre about fixing my damaged tailgate and windshield gasket. He convinced me it was a better idea to just replace the windshield since it was so old as oppose to just fixing the gasket. I agreed and told him I would order one and have it sent to his shop for installation. I also left the replacement tailgate at the shop so he could take a look at the part and quote a price for the job. Over the course of the next day I proceeded to order a number of parts which I had sent to AP for installation. I decided to wash my Jeep that afternoon and while at the car wash I noticed the back rear quarter of my Jeep was saturated with white dots. At first I thought it was white paint but thank goodness it was only some kind of bonding compound. The compound came off pretty easily on the metal but took more time to scrub off the soft top, wheels and bumper. I wasn't really pissed but at the same time I thought it was unprofessional. It's like you take your suit to the cleaners to be hemmed. You pick it up and it's got dirt all over it. Obviously my Jeep should have been moved before they started spraying. Or offered to detail the Jeep for free due to their negligence. The following day I had my first passenger and as she was checking out the seats, she noticed the plastic wheel cover was missing off the drivers seat. I looked over and sure enough the cover wasn't installed. The bolt was protruding out and digging a hole in my center console. A little footnote, I spent a year trying to find a mint condition center console that matched my Jeep and I paid $325.00 for it. I moved the console so I could examine more closely and a nice thick chunk had been scraped on the side of it. I went back to AP the next day and asked Andre if they had the cover and showed him the damage. I also showed him the white dots that were still on my wheels and bumper. He said it was some kind of compound and would come off with a power washer. I wanted to tell him I just had it at the wash yesterday and that wasn't exactly true but I let it go. Andre asked some guy about the part and a few minutes later he returned with it. Andre installed the part and as he examined the damage he commented that the console was not bolted in properly and so it was rubbing against the seat. I replied that it was not bolted in because I was still working on the interior, although that had nothing to do with the damage. Had the seat been installed correctly in the first place the damage would not have occurred. At this point Im like Sh## did I get myself involved with. I already had a bunch of parts of the way to this guys shop so I'm pretty invested. Lesson learned there for sure! So I'm thinking maybe this guy will cut me break on the tailgate because of the damage and headache so far. We schedule a meeting at 9:30 Thursday morning to quote the job. Now I work at night so 9:30 is a big deal for me but I make it on time. This Andre guy doesn't even show up. Nancy is there and apologizes for his absence. She's like what can I do to make up for the flakiness? I'm like it's fine just have him call me with a price. Four days go by and finally Ralph, Andre's assistant calls me with a price. He quotes $418.00 to paint, straighten a corner and install a chrome handle I ordered. I drop the Jeep off Thursday morning and I'm told they will need it until Tue. Seems kind of like a long time for a tailgate but I agree just to get it done. Mid way through the job that guy Andre calls and asks if I want him to install my windshield which has arrived? I'm thinking hell no! So what, three weeks after installation it starts to leak. I didn't call back and just waited for the tailgate to be done. Tuesday I call to see if it's ready and I'm told not until after 4:00. So Wed morning I pick the Jeep up. I get to AP and see my Jeep in front and immediately notice the chrome handle is not installed on the tailgate. I go in and ask Ralph why it's not installed. He looks at the tailgate and proceeds to explain to me how he told the guy to do it. I'm like I am done with this place! read more

This place was great. I got in an accident and had my hood and one headlight smashed in. Turned out the core support was snapped and the fender was bent in a weird way. I know this because Andre walked me through everything he needed to do and why it cost what it did. This was great because I knew he wasn't cheating me. I was paying out of pocket so cheap as possible was the key phrase. Andre actually called some parts shops while I was there and found after market replacements that cut some of the costs in half! I had to get a rental for a week and I'm only 22 so that would normally have been expensive but they got me a rental from Enterprise with a big discount and they even waived the under 25 fee! That saved me about $140 alone. They did a great job on the repair and it was a timely fix. It was a bit pricey (aside from the parts they charge about $45/hr for the labor) but worth it because he could have cheated me on some parts that didn't need to be replaced since it was just superficial damage. They even saved my Transformers hood ornament and slapped some tape on there so I could reapply it (a small gesture but made my experience that much better). Highly recommend. read more
