Hello everyone, I brought my truck to this place about three months ago to get an alarm system installed. I waited a little while to see how everything would function before leaving a review. Unfortunately, the alarm stopped working about a week ago. I returned to the shop for service, but I was told to come back another day because they were too busy. I called ahead and again was told to come back later, as they were too busy to assist me. I even stopped by this morning and kindly asked if they could take a quick look--just to check if it's a fuse or something simple, expecting maybe five minutes of their time. However, they refused assistance and said I should come early before other customers. I find this experience very disappointing and unprofessional. The treatment I received was not satisfactory, and it's not something I can recommend to friends or family. Given this, I will reach out to Compu Star to find a more reputable dealer to perform my service. Money isn't an issue; it's all about the service you receive and feeling valued as a customer. If I could leave a 0 star review I would! First and foremost my husband took his classic to Ap sounds and customs . He quoted my husband 2 full rewires on the amp and a big 3 upgrade took 3 days to do the install and then when we arrived to look at the install when it was completed the big 3 upgrade wasn't done if we wouldn't have caught that he would've charged us for a job he did not complete at all!! All he did was wrap it in a cover to cover the original wire that was previously installed, on top of that we had the vehicle turn off on us at the intersection due to the starter wire being loose not once but twice . I would not recommend this stereo shop to anyone ! And if you do revise all the work!! They will definitely get one over on you and charge you the full price when the work wasn't done! Should've known how unprofessional they were when I called the shop to ask if Alex the owner was there and his employee replied with he'll get here when he wants to so I told the employee that's a very unprofessional answer to give a customer and he replied with that's just how the owner is he's here when he's here when the owner was the one working on my car!!! Just be ready for a crappy job that will leave your car stranded multiple times in a busy street stuck! He's lucky that we didn't get hit with upcoming traffic coming through! Crappy work crappy establishment!!! Didn't even want to tow my car to make the job right wanted to leave my car stranded where it was at!!! Be aware and be prepared! read more

Where do I start? Honesty was not here. In the quote it was a kicker 12" sub a kicker amp with a bass dial. After everything was done i checked stuff out and he installed a 10in sub a small jl amp and a $10 bass dial from Amazon. So I told home what he said, he comes out with a 12" sub with a box that clearly is not gonna fit and starts trying to leave it looking like Sh**t. I was dumbfounded. Puts the old 10" tells me it sounds amazing but it reality sounds like S**t. He didn't take the time to dial the amp or anything. I'm sure he will know what customer it was. Long Version: My experience with Alex & his team was so fabulous that I was screaming and jumping up & down like a little girl again! I purchased an aftermarket 64 color ambient lighting/vent kit and was dissapointed at how many shops refused to install the kit due to its complexity. Alex was up for the challenge and after speaking with him in depth, I learned he has over 20 years of experience tinkering with cars. The instant communication and trust Alex built with me during our first consultation was so promising that I also asked for a sound system upgrade. I gave Alex the tall order that I REALLY REALLY like bass & must fit behind my 3rd row seat/not void too much warranty. After a short two days... not only did Alex & his team complete everything I asked for but went above and beyond! When I say Alex is a mad genius, I mean that in the highest form of a compliment!! The ambient lights/vents are perfectly installed and colors are changeable from the screen. Alex installed a removeable case with two 12 inch JL Audio TW1s subs and when I say this thing KICKS... IT'S A WHOLE BODY KICK AND EXACTLY WHAT I DREAMED OF! I was even more impressed how Alex cleverly hid the Helix M4 German Amp for my door speakers and Helix M1 for the subs in the below compartment. The set up doesn't interfere with my car's start/stop function and when I take the car in for maintence, I'll detach the subs and the dealership won't know a thing. So I was looking to get my windows tinted on my car and I was helped out by a gentleman named Nick he was a great help and well informed and knew what he was taking about during his walk around my vehicle he had noticed some discrepancies on the edit my windshield that I was also getting tinted that might lead to the windshield cracking during the application of the tint and sure enough as he called it did crack. Went here to fix and upgrade my alarm on my S2000. Previous installer made a mess and poor installation work with the Compustar alarm.
