You came to me in the showroom and said "good news" "the dash speakers had already been modified and the brackets for 5 inch speakers were already in place" and that "I could come back the following week and have an additional set of speakers put in within 15 minutes or so" I'm not sure what you're talking about saying that "it's not that easy to fit them in the dash" when you had already told me that 5 inch brackets were in the dash. After receiving my speakers back from you it took me a Phillips screwdriver and a nut driver to remove the cover and install the speakers. I did it myself within five minutes with zero stereo installation experience. And, they worked just fine. So let's go beyond the fact that you're saying it took you four hours to take out an amp and rewire a stereo in a vehicle that is 20 years old and has zero electronics in it. Perhaps you need more skilled technicians? Let's also address the fact that there was nothing wrong with my equipment. Even if you are correct saying that the head unit was bad (which it wasn't) how does that equate to you saying that all four speakers were bad? That is blatant dishonesty. As far as the $90 diagnostic, any reputable auto repair or auto stereo store puts their diagnostic charge towards any repairs completed. I discussed that with you and when you said that's not how you guys operate I just let it go because I had already been waiting over two hours. The 3.5 to 4 hours of labor time is not necessarily accurate because you were working on a McLaren at the same time which was obviously bringing in more money than my lowly little Jeep. If my review was a one off I would say that my assertions are inaccurate but the majority of your non-5 star reviews of your business lend to the same discussion and assertions that I have made. read more

I unfortunately got screwed at another shop by the name of Harbor Sound located in Santa Ana, long story short Fred made sure it was not a issue and that he could fix their mistake for less that I was quoted over there. I've been coming here for a few years now to do upgrades on my 1996 Mustang GT. They replaced my instrument cluster, headlights, stereo (Now w/ Apple CarPlay) and fixed a water temperature sensor problem I've had for years. They also replaced all my speakers and installed an alarm system that allows me to view the location of my car at all times. Plus a backup camera! I have taken multiple vehicles here for a full conversion to Android Auto (my wife and I) and Apple Car play (my kids). The vehicles had radio's replaced (2005 Jeep, 1999 Mitsubishi that I had completely restored), stereo systems upgrades, and I just had my 2018 AMG GTS modified to use Android Auto but still integrate with the existing display and controls. I bought a Stinger 10" Touchscreen Radio directly from the manufacturer, Stinger Off-Road. I got it in a package which included the complete plug-and-play installation kit for my Jeep Wrangler. When I was younger, I would have wanted to install this myself. But no longer. It requires removing part of the dash and running a fused line to the battery. There is also a backup camera that has to be wired, and the SiriusXM Tuner. Not what I want to do with my time at this point in my life. Stinger Off-Road had a list of a few places that install these units and CSW in Anaheim was the closest to me. It is not that close either. But getting this installed correctly was a important to me. I also already had one set of vehicle specific Infinity Speakers to replace the front set. I knew I needed an amp and new speakers for the sound bar. I dropped by when I was in the area after a doctor's appointment. I eventually spoke to Rami, who is the owner. He is very knowledgeable and is definitely a salesman. I bought an amplifier and the second set of speakers from CSW. The amp and speakers were more than I wanted to spend, but they are both really excellent. I also bought a reverse camera, which has been great. I liked this place and they did good work. Just like a lot of places, they want to upswell you. But that's par for the game.
