You can have them delivery it if you want for a fee, but we ended up just having my brother in law bring his truck to pick it all up. Honestly, it wasn't as costly as I thought it was going to be! One Briggs Stratton lawnmower engine mounted on a blower assembly, and a Makita leaf blower motor set up as a "shop-Vac". On November 1st, I stopped by Green Valley Turf Equipment to drop off my motors.I asked how long it would be, the clerk stated they have a 5+ week turnaround time, and they did NOT service Makitas. I placed a 37.50 deposit for my Briggs with one H. Balmontes, then drove to Burlap Landscapers to get my Makita serviced. They were quite happy to take in my Makita motor and said it would be ready in about a week! I didn't have time to go back to Green Valley Turf to retrieve my Briggs, so i stopped by a week later (Friday the 8th November) to get my motor and deposit. I gave them my debit card to get my credit for the $37.50 deposit from my initial transaction-they informed me it would take TWO WEEKS to get it posted to my account! The clerk helping me could not locate my motor at first, then she asked the second clerk about the invoice. The motor was still sitting on the floor in the same place the first clerk had placed it the week before. Not very encouraging! I drove to Burlap Landscapers to drop off the Briggs, I was then informed my Makita would be ready the same afternoon! Only one week turnover, and this is with the same working hours Green Valley Turf Equipment has. Both are family-run businessess, but their service departments are as different as NIGHT and DAY.
