a picture of a marble slab

This company was recommended by our landscape company so we felt confident using them for a slab for our outdoor kitchen. Well, the slab we purchase had some fissures that had been filled that were not visible at the time of purchase (we have many pictures of the slab at the showroom as proof) but became very visible after just a few days outside (the filler turned bright yellow on our mostly grey slab). One of them is actually 26'' long and is quite the eyesore! Also, just a few days after installation, a new 27'' fissure appeared. It is obvious that this slab is defective. I'm well aware that natural stones have imperfections but to have two very long fissures is not acceptable. I left multiple voicemails and emails but have yet to hear back from anyone after one month. My landscape company reached out to them and received a letter from Bedrosians saying that they're not accepting any responsibility in the matter.

Just some finishing touches and I'll be done. The slab color came out perfect!

I finally built an outdoor kitchen and wanted to do a nice tile top. After someone recommended Bedrosians, my wife and I decided to take the trek out there during the COVID-19 pandemic as we were both off work and looking to do some projects that we had put off for decades (literally). They have a large selection of tile competitively priced. We spoke to a person at the counter about the tile pricing, how much I would be spending to purchase the material. They asked if I had considered granite and I brushed it off knowing that granite is super expensive. After showing us the tile and explaining the pitfalls to having a tile top on an outdoor kitchen, we ended up going out to the warehouse where they had giant slabs of marble, granite, quartz, and porcelain (among others). The slabs seemed very large and impressive. When he showed us the granite, I was surprised that it was so inexpensive. I was one of the LEAST expensive of all the materials! The dark black/brown slabs were $600 each. Due to the "L" shape top (13' X 10'), I needed 2 slabs. $1200 bucks? WOW!! Great find, great price! A good quality tile would have cost as much! I was, however, going to install the tile myself but we fell in love with the granite and decided to go "all-in". They even have business cards for installers if you don't already have one. The slabs were delivered the next day to the installer with no issues whatsoever. Overall experience was 10/10.

Before the countertop replacement, my kitchen was fully functional. What made this experience so…read moredisappointing is that a major limitation was never clearly explained before I signed the contract. Throughout the entire sales process, Ivy (the salesperson) never informed us that we would need to separately hire a licensed plumber to reconnect the faucet, garbage disposal, drain, and water lines after the countertop was installed. We paid $1,300 in labor charges ($400 for demolition/removal of the old tile backsplash and $900 for countertop installation), only to be told by the technicians on installation day that they were not licensed to reconnect these items. We also purchased a new sink and faucet from the company as part of the project. However, the faucet could not even be installed because the hole cut into the countertop was too small for it to fit. This meant we were left with a brand-new faucet that could not be used until the countertop was modified. To make matters worse, the technicians damaged the wall while removing the old tile backsplash and told us they were not responsible for repairing the damage. After the incomplete installation, we contacted the company to express our concerns. Their response was simply that the countertop installation had been completed according to the agreed scope of work and the fee paid, and that plumbing and electrical work were not included. My biggest concern is not that plumbing work was excluded--it is that this was never clearly disclosed before we signed the contract. Had we been told in advance, we could have planned accordingly or chosen another installer. I also question the company's process. If the technicians are not licensed to reconnect the faucet, drain, garbage disposal, and water lines, how were they permitted to disconnect and remove those same components in the first place? If they were unable to complete the job, they should have made that clear before accepting the installation fee. In addition, if the company supplied the new faucet, why was the countertop hole cut too small for the faucet they sold us? I would have preferred to purchase only the countertop and hire my own installer rather than pay for an installation that left my kitchen unusable. I hope future customers carefully review the contract and ask detailed questions about exactly what the installation includes--and, more importantly, what it does not include. Don't assume the installation fee means your kitchen will be fully functional when the work is finished.
