I…read morenoticed that the Rancho Cucamonga Animal Shelter had some gorgeous professional photos of animals for adoption on their website. I thought it was wonderful that a photographer would donate their time to do that. In 2014, my husband and our dog participated in the Furry Friends Festival & Pet Walk-A-Thon and saw that True Emotions Photography was a sponsor. I've also seen photo sessions with True Emotions as prizes for raffles at adoption events. A few years flew by and I saw on their Facebook that they were booking for Halloween Pet Portraits and had costumes there that you could pick from. Well, I've been taking my dogs' photos this whole time (with my Nikon and iPhone) and thought it would be cool to have one professionally done! My 3 Shih Tzus are now ages 5 and 6 and I wanted to have some nice photos to frame. LOCATION: The studio is on the north side of 13th Street between Benson Ave and Mountain Ave, to the west of the Upland Police Department. We came in on a Sunday in mid-October and picked out 3 witch costumes for them. Kimberly was awesome at trying to get their attention and all look at the camera at the same time! This is something that I have the more difficult time with! We got the smallest package at ($39.95+tax) which included the sitting, two printed photos, and a digital copy of the photo. I told my husband that we HAD to do a Christmas Portrait with them this year! So when the time came, my husband, 3 dogs, and I came in again in November and got our Holiday portraits taken. This time around, Kim had an assistant with her who's also a photographer. The photo session literally took less than 15 minutes. Afterwards, we viewed all the photos and picked which poses we wanted as well as which package we wanted. I chose the largest package (various sized prints, 75 cards, plus digital copies). All the photos were ready within 3 weeks. The photos came out so nice! I'm starting to wonder why I haven't done this sooner! Kim also does shoots for Valentine's Day and Easter, I think I might end up with a calendar of my dogs.... LOL 117/100 Reviews for 2016

When I saw that she was running a holiday special, I quickly jumped on it and got an appointment. I brought my two little terriers and one pitbull in for a session. Kimberly greeted us upon arrival, and all three of my pups were immediately smitten with her! As you can imagine, it's usually pretty difficult to get 3 dogs (who are usually camera shy) to stay still and pose for photos, but she managed to capture their attention with no problem at all, and she didn't even have to use treats. My husband and I were both so impressed! Not only did she make our dogs looks phenomenal, she helped us look our best by adjusting my hair, headband, etc. If you don't think your dog will look at the camera or sit still for a photo, you have to book a session with Kimberly! I bet she will make it happen. The studio itself is large, clean, and organized. There are no odors at all. It was hard to tell that this was a studio for pets! The office is tastefully decorated with Kimberly's work, and she takes the most gorgeous photos of dogs and cats. Once Kimberly was done shooting our proofs, we sat down together to review our favorite photos on her computer. I couldn't believe how many amazing photos she snapped. It was honestly so difficult picking a few for our holidays cards. Within a few days, our photos were edited and ready for pickup! The digital copies were email to me, and I couldn't be happier. I can't wait to book another session in the future. She offers a lot of different specials (valentines, halloween, 4th of July), so follow True Emotions on Facebook if you're interested! It also warms my heart that Kimberly donates her time and talent to take photos of the dogs at the shelter to help them get adopted. She captures so much personality and vibrance in a simple picture. Strongly recommended!!

The Salty Dog Studio - Katelin and her oldest dog Captain! Her muse for her photography!

Wow... The Salty Studio is truly something special!…read more From the very beginning, Katelin made the entire experience feel warm, inviting, and thoughtfully personalized. She took the time to really understand the vision I had for my photoshoot and the types of moments I wanted captured, which made everything feel so intentional and meaningful. I booked a session for my older pup and my daughter (and even jumped in for a few photos myself!), and Katelin was absolutely incredible with both of them. She was so patient, especially with my fur baby, and so natural with my daughter--guiding her with poses that fit her age, making her laugh, and keeping things fun and light the entire time. What really stood out to me was how unrushed the session felt. Unlike other photoshoots where you feel like you're on the clock, Katelin created a relaxed environment where we could explore different backdrops, props, and ideas without any pressure. It made such a difference. She has an amazing eye and such a creative vision--it's clear she's incredibly talented and experienced. We even got to see a few glimpses of the photos during the session, and they were SO cute! I also saw some of her past work printed, and the quality is absolutely impeccable. This wasn't just a photoshoot--it was an experience. I'm already so excited to see the final images and would highly recommend Katelin to anyone looking to capture special moments, especially with family or pets. She's truly amazing!

They really work hard to get good shots. Ginger is a very shy dog so the first part of our shoot was them just trying to let her open up by playing with her and giving her treats. She definitely opened up after a while that's why she got the oh so beloved tennis ball shot! My husband and I are not the best models either and we wanted to be in the photos. They taught us some poses to look decent in the pictures. They really work with you and your preferences--they make sure you absolutely love the prints and the photos you end up with. We had an incident where one of the prints had smudged ink which was very minimal--, but they went above and beyond to literally drive to our home to switch out the framed prints just to make sure we have them perfect! We loved how every framed print turned out. Was definitely a pleasure to work with them. Thank you!!!!

For Leo and Kumo's August birthdays, we chose family photos as a way to hold on to what we can never truly keep: time. These photos freeze the fleeting moments of our pups and babies growing up together, a bittersweet reminder that their lives are short, but their love lasts forever. Melissa made everything so easy and was incredibly patient, even with two toddlers and four dogs! I remembered clearly Be Here Now and I remembered how beautifully she photographed and what her purpose was behind what she did. It was a day in October that one of her events popped up on my Facebook. I wasn't able to attend however I asked if she could do a session for me and Briley and a memory of Willow too and if she had any special packages like that. She gave me some packages and let me choose. She beautifully and so kindly helped me through what was all these memories I had kept and narrowed them down into what her ideas were with what mine were. I am creative, but she is BEYOND creative and take every moment from the first email, the prepping, the photo session and then the review of your photos with such LOVE and PASSION! We both know the pain of losing an animal either too soon or when it was their time, and understand that each day is a BLESSING from above and to take each moment, live in it with JOY, PURPOSE and LOVE! Every day is a new day and we cant go back in time... Embrace the good and bad and keep on, keeping on, in memory of those that we have lost (animal or human). She is so patient, fun loving and an AHHMAZZING Photographer. She captures the moment and just knows how to do it naturally. That's when you know you found a PHOTGRAPHER FOR LIFE! I know and she knows, but fr all that don't know her personally like I do, THIS IS HER HEART AND SOUL and HER PURPOSE in life! You will NOT be disappointed. I will attach the photos I chose, I am sure there were 1000 more Treasured moments that she had captured. And a side note, Javier is GREAT TOO!!!! We love you guys!! XOXO Renee and Briley and Willow
