I needed to get my Honda Civic LX 2009, Serviced because i was hearing an Unfamiliar sound coming from under the Hood.I am a Female, who has been having All of her Car issues serviced at Ed Morse Honda,WPB & I was Tired of them Bullying Me, and having Unnecessary Repairs because they need to Upsell their Services.Also, every time i would leave EdMorse Honda, the service Writer would List a Bunch of Services that i had Declined to have done there,because I can't afford all at Once, then they Would put the FEAR in ME, that my Vehicle needed those Services otherwise it wasn't that safe to Drive! Well I started reading the Reviews on Local Auto Repair Shops, came across Moore's Mufflers, and REALLY WAS IMPRESSED by the REVIEWS that people wrote.I live in the area & know that they have been around for a long time.I also had AC work done on my vehicle @ Boynton Auto AC the previous Week and that Shop owner said he takes all his vehicles to Moore's for Years.So that's when I decided to call & make an Appt. I called on Thursday & requested an appt for Monday, they told me that Tuesday morning between 8-9am to drop my Car off. Tuesday morning dropped my car off at 8:30am, Spoke with Roger about my issue with my Car,and left. He said that he would Check out my car & Diagnose it,for Free! NO CHARGE FOR DIAGNOSING MY CAR.That REALLY impressed Me.I went home & at 9:47am, I received a Call saying my Front Left Bearings/ Hub Needed to be Replaced & the sound i was hearing,was from the Bearings going Bad.I asked how much $350. Parts& Labor.I said do it & if you could also check under the Hood to let me know if anything else needs to be Fixed or Replaced. Then at 2:15pm Roger Moore, from Moore's Mufflers called & leftca message Car is Ready for pickup. WOW...I am Really Super Impressed with these Brothers who are Very Fair priced on doing Auto Repair & Not Raping the Heck out of you because you are a Female. I had a Good Feeling about going to them before i dropped my car off & I felt so Blessed that I found an Auto Shop that HONEST! In fact they will usually tell me if something is over kill or unwarranted. Found a my new mechanic.... Helpful and honest.... The original quote was for a bad fuel pump and gave me the quote for the repair. When I went to pick up my truck, they bill was significantly less. They told me they tested my fuel pump, which was fine. The problem was a less expensive part. They could have easily charged me the full amount and I would have never known. They earned my trust and business. I will say, they are sometimes hard to get an appointment so its rare you can get in the same day, but they are worth the wait! read more

Wow. My car is over 20 years old - and I still love it and maintain it. I had noticed that on acceleration it was making a louder sound than normal. I took it to my "regular" mechanic to check it out. "There's nothing wrong. That's normal on an older car." I took it to a tire shop nearby. Again, I got the same answer. "There's nothing wrong. That's normal on an older car." Now, I have been driving the car daily for years. I didn't quite believe these people - just seemed lazy to me, or didn't know how to test it.
