This was not true and although we were able to install it ourselves it was not perfect and we had to replace the liner within a one year. We installed it ourselves again and it leaked around the skimmer until the end of last summer when thoughts of just taking the pool down (due having to refill the pool daily) entered our minds. Our skills were obviously not up to par in pool liner installation so in March of this year we decided to inquire about getting some help from Haven Pool and Spa. We are so pleased this is what we did. Admittedly, we were taken aback at the price of buying a liner and getting it installed as it was as much as we paid for the pool. However, knowing that it took us days to do it ourselves (and it was not done correctly in the end), forced us to make the decision to have the professionals do it for us. Exemplary customer service even though this is the beginning of his busy time of the year. We were scheduled two days after I called. On the morning of, Phil texted and said he and his assistant could arrive earlier than anticipated. That was just fine with us. As in previous years, our fireplace was cleaned and inspected and the interior and exterior was vacuumed, the glass removed and cleaned as well. The work area was kept clean and drop cloths were laid over the hearth and nearby furniture. Our nosy cats had to be in the thick of things and that wasn't a problem for Phil either. When all was said and done, we had a sparkling gas fireplace ready to be used. Phil promised -and noted on the invoice- that he would return in the summer to respray the inside of the fireplace as an extra perk and to spruce it up a bit. Servicing costs are still very reasonable and fair. He told us to call him right away if we had any issues. Thanks again Phil I still highly recommend Phil's Fireplace Service in Beaverton.
