A woman came after we told them and she said we could "touch it up with some nail polish" if we find the right color. Laughable. They only give a 1 year warranty. They don't guarantee their work and they have no interest in helping customers when they comment on their work. If I could give zero stars I would. Do not go to them. I am shocked that they're still in business.

It started with Tony providing us a detailed cost estimate and scope of work for our project. He worked with us to refine the estimate to make sure we ended up with the components and finishes we would be happy with and within our budget. Tony is an excellent communicator. He explains options, describes the construction process and is always willing to answer questions. Tony's crew are very professional and courteous to deal with. They are neat in their work. The work site is left clean and tidy after each work day. It is also important to note that Tony is totally reliable when it comes to meeting scope and schedule for projects. When a schedule is agreed upon, Tony meets that schedule. Finally, there are no surprises when the final bill is presented. Tony keeps track of costs and finishes within budget. I found Ace Iron Works website and looked over some of their completed garden gate and walkway gate projects. I was impressed! I called Ace to inquire on their availability, left a voicemail, and they got back with me promptly. I spoke with Jim, who asked that I email him a photo of my gate entrance and some measurements. I did so and he then followed up with an on-site visit. He took some additional measurements and we discussed some ornamental details that might be unique to my yard. Later that evening, he sent me a sketch of the proposed iron-gate with intricate details, just as we had discussed, and an estimate. He even proposed installation within about 5 weeks. I thought the price was reasonable. Everything went according to plan. My backyard has been enhanced with a beautiful garden gate. It allows for additional light and even a breeze that had been absent. I love that the owner Chris was the person who came out and walked me through the process as well as options. They built a retainer wall; leveled a sloping yard with pavers as well as put pavers on the side of our house where gravel use to be. My experience with contractors was that as they near the end of their project, they find something that needs fixing and there goes more $$, with this team, they would find things such as a fence post not being cemented to the ground properly so it wobbled and changed the boundary between us and our neighbor. They literally removed it and put it back in, cemented and hammered down. They checked in with me everytime they worked on something that had more than one option and I loved how knowledgeable they were. They started and completed work within the time frame and when they were done they cleaned up and wiped down any mess. They even built in a wood panel between the retaining wall and fence for my kids' safety. Finally, they built me a 3 in one seating area; it was a storage bench with backing that matched our deck railings. It was perfect!!!! I wholeheartedly recommend them for any project they agree to. Chris is a perfectionist and will not commit to something he and his crew cannot give 100% to.

Excellent carpet replacement work done by Best Buy Floors! The cheap carpet pad in my upstairs was…read moredeteriorating causing my carpet to ripple and look unsightly. I had already stretched it once about 2 years ago but then my two dogs also started marking certain spots so I finally decided to switch it all out. I opted for a waterproof Healthier Choice foam carpet pad and Shaw Pet+ carpet and asked for an additional cork 3mm underlayment beneath the pads to hopefully help with sound. The team was able to get the project done in a day and I couldn't be happier! I'll definitely work with Best Buy for future flooring needs!
