The caregivers were not reliable. From May 2025 - August 2025, my mom's primary caregiver, Brittany, called out 19 times. I needed home care on the days I worked in office and this was not it. To add insult to injury, my mom passed away on 5/5/26 and I discovered all of her good jewelry was missing. Got zero response from the company. I understand time has passed since I ended services for my mom, but the caregivers were the only people who had access to my mom's jewelry, which included a special piece my dying sister bought for my mom. read more

We are so incredibly happy with Brittany, my mother's caregiver. Apex Care worked hard to find a good match for my mom who has moderate Alzheimer's - and brought to us a gem named Brittany. She regularly engages with her and my brother who lives with her in so many beautiful ways. She gets my mom to play my mom's favorite songs on guitar and participates in the music, she leads creative art projects, like watercolor painting and even has helped them make playing cards that they decorated together. Brittany helps them cook, delicious meals, such as tortilla soup and tostadas. She is able to manage and navigate through moments of my mom's anxiety and confusion. Brittany's warmth, kindness, enthusiasm and generosity are so appreciated. I cannot rave about the service of APEX Care enough! April went above and beyond for my client shopping for them. The team worked late night and over the weekend to help increase staffing when my client requested more help late night on a Friday. The staff were very attentive. At the facility my mom was at, ApexCare took over a contract from another company. I was out of state and asked that they do a "well check" (their language) to make sure my mom had taken her medication. During the pandemic, the meds, shipped from Amazon, dropped from 5 to 2 due to expired prescriptions. My issue is that neither the health care worker nor the company never brought this to my attention. Unbeknownst to me, this went on for SIX MONTHS until my mom had a seizure, fell out of bed and broke her hip. The doctor's told me this was a direct result of her not having taken th missing medications. To add insult to injury, I'm being billed for the last few months of "care" and they refuse to admit that they didn't do the job of simply letting me know something had changed. The previous provider's team would occassionally send me a text photo or just a quick text letting me know how she was doing. I would avoid this company altogether. read more

As someone who is familiar with this industry, I can say with full confidence that yourself or your loved one will be fully taken care of. We had a few hiccups in the beginning, but keep in mind that that is completely normal and Apex will keep working with you until you've found your match! My caregiver has been with me about 10 months and she feels like family now. She does everything exactly as she should and is always 10 steps ahead of me. I don't have to hold her hand through anything, she just figures it out! She also has more patience in her pinky finger than most of us have in our entire body! I made the call at 4:30pm and by that evening, the wonderful people at ApexCare (Tonya and April) found someone who was able to stay with my mom to ensure her safety. We have used Support For Home for several years, for our mom. We have found them to be reliable and the caregivers are prompt. Of course, each caregiver is unique in how they provide care. Some are great companions, others do a great job at task completion (cleaning, laundry, etc.) I read DJ S' comments and have to say that I have been told by some services that nail trims, callous removal, etc. are considered "surgery" since these procedures involve removal of body parts! I do know that Support for Home does not have a problem with sending an alternate caregiver, if the current caregiver is not a good fit. We have appreciated being able to call on them 24/7 and the reassurance that gives. read more

This business is very professional and the people who work there really are supportive and kind. From the caregivers to the office staff there is great communication and flexibility. They are prompt and courteous when needing a change or unexpected things come up (such as plumbing problem in the home). They are quick to find substitute caregivers when someone becomes unavailable, so you never have to worry whether you'll be left alone or a family member has to step in. I have full confidence in these folks. Although they aren't cheap, they are competitive with other agencies and you are paying not only for expert care, but peace of mind as well. read more

Support for Home was professional, always willing to adjust to changing needs, and had an accurate accounting system for monitoring hours. Completely opposite of Home Instead, who were unprofessional, caused problems among the family, and had an "honor" system of recording hours. Support for Home personnel were intelligent with uplifting personalities and competent at their job, completely opposite their competition. read more
