Really enjoyed the weekend lunch buffet here! Pretty great selection with even a few vegetarian options. Tried to include a little bit of everything in our first go-around in the attached picture but even arriving an hour into the 3 hour allotted time, everything was stocked up. I particularly loved the samosas but generally really enjoyed everything. The only thing is that they don't serve tap so you either pay for bottled water or another kind of drink. More than plenty of options for the price point and while parking isn't readily available by the restaurant, you can find spots around a couple block radius. I found it to be worth the trip.

I love the huge plates. I ate wvery bit. Was full for the rest of the day.

2 of my faves Chicken tika masala and lamb biryani

Finally had some solid Indian food in the area without having to make the trek to Edison. Had a strong craving but was hesitant to order from somewhere local. Glad I did. We ordered the chicken tika masala (mild), lamb biryani (medium), garlic naan, Bhindi masala (medium) and a side of onion relish. I'm half Indian and I can honestly say the okra dish (bhindi) was better than my father's. The medium spice level gave it the perfect kick. The chicken tika masala and lamb biryani were solid dishes. The garlic naan, could've been a little more garlicky for my taste. The onion chutney is always a go to condiment for me (not on menu). 100% will be ordering again. Even my wife who is repulsed by curries and stewy food indulged and enjoyed. Great job

Best Indian place in the area! I've only been here for take out so can't speak for the dining in experience. Every time someone comes to town and wants Indian this is our go to spot. As a vegetarian, there's plenty of options. I got a fried vegetable appetizer that everyone was happy to share. The garlic naan was delicious. They give plenty of rice which sometimes places don't and you'll end up without enough. Lastly, all the curries are amazing. Everyone is always a happy customer at this place.

Extremely Overpriced for just 2 small containers of JUST plain tikka masala sauce with NO meat or seafood in it. Big ripoff!!!! I'm sure it's made in large batches and i know it doesn't cost much to make in large quantities. Never again. 1st and last time there for me!!!

Would give 3.5. The mixed tandoori grill was good like other Indian places. We asked for it spicy and even when I asked the waiter if it was Indian spicy he assured me it was very spicy but I would have classified it as mild (note: for spicy lovers). It was standard good Indian; would recommend and hope to return.

The dishes are excellent. I only wish the decor and the ambiance matched how good the food was. It's definitely a solid takeout option, but I honestly feel they could get more dine-in business with a few tweaks.

We went here a couple years ago a few times and it was always okay, but something consistently missed the mark. However, we've ordered twice during covid and have truly been pleasantly surprised! We ended up doing the 2 entree deal, which is usually only offered dine in, but they made an exception since dine in isn't an option. In this deal, we got paneer makhani, paneer tikka, paratha, rice, raita, mini salad, papad, and dal. The taste was on point!! And, always a cherry on top- the price was reasonable for all of this. It is a little pricey when not ordering with the 2 entree deal, but Indian food generally isn't the cheapest to order. We've always had to wait a bit for the food, longer than the time we're told on the phone. But, when the food is really good, it's a decent trade-off. While I could not see the kitchen staff, the presumable owners/the ones that take menu orders, always have masks on. They also have hand sanitizer handy on the table. Definitely will be back for Punjabi food cravings!

I was fasting all day so was in the mood for a big meal. I ordered over the phone. I ordered the Alo Gobhi Matar and that is peas, potatoes and cauliflower in curry with a side of roti. When I arrived, what looked like the owner greeted me. The man that took my order came out with my food and I paid about $16. I got home and dug in and it was so spicy but pretty good. I never had roti with my Indian dish and it was a good add. I will definitely try this place again.

There are not many options for food. Taste was average, too. Wouldn't recommend a buffet.

They have options to go for the mild choice if you can't do spice. This restaurant is situated within downtown Montclair - which is such a charming shopping block. We ordered: - honey chili lotus - saffron butter crab (generous portion size of crab)! - goat cheese naan - Goan fish curry Every dish was so good! The highlight was the saffron butter crab - that umami flavor was insane. The honey lotus was crispy and packed with flavor. The Goan fish curry was satisfying and not spicy at all which we both appreciated. I also enjoyed the 3 complimentary sauces on the table - none of them were too spicy. I highly recommend this place! The service was great as well.

The space itself is on the smaller side, but it is intimate, warm, and always buzzing. The staff is incredibly attentive and welcoming, making you feel taken care of from the moment you enter. Parking is street based, but there's a garage right across, and honestly, the area is very walkable so it's not a hassle to find street parking. They kick things off with a complimentary appetizer (crispy chips with dipping sauce); I ate before the phone -oops! The mango lassi is not your typical thick, yogurt heavy version, and the one here is lighter, smoother, almost like a refreshing mango smoothie - also not pictured, big oops! Why I LOVE the place after the first visit: the curries (ordered the paneer and chickpea)!! Unlike many Indian restaurants where dishes can feel overly heavy or leave you feeling weighed down, the curries here are light yet incredibly aromatic and full of flavor. You get all the richness of the ingredients and spices without that post meal sluggishness. Rice comes complimentary with the curry (always a win), and the naan is a must order. Both the garlic and butter naan were packed with flavor-- went very well with the curries! Note: It does lean a bit on the pricier side, but the quality, freshness, and dining experience make it worth it. Definitely a spot I'd come back to again to try other things on the menu.

Not only do you get a chance to try a variety of regional Indian curries, but they also offer a Seasonal 'emu of specialty selections that you may not think to try. I like that they offer these innovative or socially selections so people can try the real tastes of India. Addie talk to selection is the QUALITY! They clearly use real, fresh ingredients because I had no discomfort after our meal, which tends to be common after eating at many Indian restaurants. I am my scientific proof; food quality is top notch! The service. All wait staff were friendly and kitchen ran like a smooth operation. Given that the restaurant is a small space, it becomes more essential that staff are knowledgeable and coordinated, as was the case here. Everyone was on their A game. Space is small but charming. In Upper Montclair but not at that busy intersection. Parking is on the street, metered. Not ideal but it is what it is.
