They didn't want to do the work anymore and tried to just get me to buy another one of their customer's trucks instead. Eventually did the work. Truck now drives sideways (due to crooked rear axel), the clear coat peeled off after 6 months, they took apart my wiring harness (for paint and suspension work?) and it melted on the headers. When I came to pick it up the bill came to $18k, because his guys took 2-4x longer than he thought they would. Everything they touched had to go somewhere else for actual shops to repair. When contacting Jeff about this I was told I have to understand the amount of work and "quality" put into my truck would normally cost twice as much.

I drove from Dallas to San Antonio without any problems yet the next morning in a restaurant parking lot, the Mercedes would crank but not start, After 30 minutes of retrying, I decided to call someone that knows Mercedes. I yelped Mercedes expecting to find a dealer and discovered Autohaus! I read their positive reviews about this Bosch authorized independent shop specializing in Mercedes and called them for help. Vivian answered my phone call and immediately took charge. She let me know they were booked solid for a week but understood my predicament, asked for my number while promising to return the call after seeing what, if anything could be done. Mack the shop owner called me shortly thereafter and asked the pertinent questions in order to attempt to isolate the problem. It became obvious that diagnostics in person was needed and I was given a phone number to a tow company that he recommended and had an account. with. Once the vehicle arrived at Autohaus they jumped on the troubleshooting process in order to get me back on the road and working in the area as soon as possible. While sitting in the lobby area, I first hand witnessed that Mack, Vivian and the entire staff are friendly and conscientious when they were dealing with all of their customers, phone calls and vendors delivery people. When my starting issue was established, they communicated the diagnosis and the solution of replacing the fuel pump which was an integrated assembly in the fuel tank. If I could give 10 stars for this experience at Autohaus, I would. Be assured this business is what people look for as it is operated with integrity by owners and employees that do the right thing every day..
