    Apollo Burgers

I visited Disneyland during the Lunar New Year, stopped at Apollo Burgers in Anaheim, and I am so happy I had a chance to go! Sometimes after an extended day of being in the parks you are looking for something simple, and different than the theme park food! Apollo Burgers provided me with such an amazing experience! The bacon cheeseburger, onion rings and French fries I ordered were all wonderful. The bacon cheeseburger had a great deal of flavor and was very juicy and the bacon was crisp and the cheese was perfectly melted to hold all of the flavors of the burger together. The onion rings were golden brown and crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside and the French fries were hot and fresh! When you took a bite out of the onion ring, it was so good! The breading was perfect! What was really impressive to me about Apollo Burgers, in addition to the food, was how affordable it all was! The pricing was surprisingly affordable in comparison to what you would pay inside the park. In addition to this the service was excellent! They were very friendly, moved quickly, and were welcoming as well, even though it was late at night! Apollo Burgers was one of the best places I stopped to eat on my entire Disney vacation. It is a place I will definitely visit again on any future trips to Disneyland if I am looking for an awesome burger at a great price.

I'm always searching for those local hometown, small business burger joints and I finally found another hometown business that I will come support. You have your main stream Carl's Jr. McDonald's, Jack in the Box, but Apollo's cheeseburger is fresh and better in every aspect. Love the crispy edges on the burger patty Fresh cheese Crispy and crunchy lettuce and tomatoes Love how it comes with chopped grilled onions Tangy special sauce, reminds me of 1000 island but with a little more vinegar which gives it that it has Fluffy bun Overall great experience, better than any fast food corporate chain. The fries are great, I love the thicker cut fries so it's crispy on the outside and soft potato on the inside. Overall a burger and fries for $12 is fine the burger was $9. Is it worth $9? Yes it is. And the ranch is really yummy

I think this place has delicious food and pretty good portions!! The bulgogi burgers were amazing and I also enjoyed the fried zucchini and onion rings. The ranch was delicious and so were the fries. Would definitely come back

This was my HS back in the good old days for good burgers & fries and hanging out with friends afterschool. Was working in the area so stopped by for lunch. Same old setting, decor with sport teams plagues hanging on the wall and the seatings are all booth seats. Menu is simple but plenty of choices for both breakfast and lunch/dinner. Great friendly staff with attractive service. Easy order and they asked your name and they brought out the foods to your table once it done. The place is clean and well kept. Parking can be rough especially in the weekends & holidays. I normally would recommend bacon cheeseburger here but I got pastrami sandwich this time. It was good, abit too wet that just makes the bread felt apart. Fries are great and the prices are good for the size. Glad I stopped by and relived and ate the foods here. Great memories and great to see they're still around.

We were hungry and just happened to be in the area when we drove by Apollo Burgers and decided to stop and give them a try. Luckily, we weren't disappointed. It's not very big, but big enough to have a good number of booths. Even though they were busy on a late Sunday morning, we had no problem finding a place to sit. You order at the counter, which is typical of these types of restaurants. I was thrilled to see a beef dip on the menu, which isn't common for similar places. We ordered two in the combo (fries and a drink). It did come to $40, but again, that's getting normal for fast food. They did have Pepsi, and I'm a Coke fan, but I won't hold that against them. After we sat down, they brought up a small plate of chips and salsa, which was a pleasant surprise, and the salsa was excellent. We soon realized why they bring the chips: they're not super-fast with the food. It's not a big deal, and we weren't in a hurry, but it's just something to note. When the food arrived, we realized we could have ordered one sandwich and split it; it was that big! It was also delicious. The beef was more than plentiful, and the bread was soft and fresh, which is how I like it. We ended up taking two 1/2 sandwiches home for later. The place is very clean, and the people were super nice. It's very rare for us to be in this area, but if we are, and we're hungry, we'd definitely come back here.

This was my fiancé's stomping ground 20+ years ago growing up in this area. He said nothing has changed except for the price. The burgers are still the same hefty size and taste. He wanted to share his childhood memory with me and wow, great burger! We got the bacon cheese burger and the Bulgogi burger. These were large in size with a crispy toasted bun. Thin burger patty, lettuce, cheese and tomato. Mine came with Bulgogi and his, bacon. The Bulgogi was soft and not too sweet. The fries were perfectly well done with an extra crisp. The service was exceptional, bringing out complimentary chips and salsa.

Service was beyond amazing and every single person was super attentive. They let us customize our bacon cheeseburger and we added a fried egg, a regular cheeseburger, both were combos with one onion rings and the other with regular fries. My only suggestions would be add more seasoning to the fries and the onion rings were slightly overcooked but still good. Our food was brought to our table and the staff kept checking in on us to see if we needed anything else. The place was busy when we got there around noon and it was even busier when we left. They did have music playing but it was so busy you couldn't hear it that well. We will definitely be stopping by again to try other items.

Mom+Pop burger joint. If you are in Garden Grove or visiting Disney Land or the Outlets at Orange and needed some delicious burger nearby, definitely visit Apollo Burger. I visited this place many times in my younger days. It still does not beat my favorite burger place - Burger Boss - but the flavor here is best in GG town. Order at the counter when you walk in and staff will bring the food out to you. Staff is always very friendly and cordial. There are chillies like the one you get from In-N-Out but you have to ask for them. Before the pandemic, it was placed by the register and helped yourself but now we have to ask. I tried many dishes over the years but always come back to the good old Bacon Cheeseburger - cut in half - grilled onion and everything in it. Apollo mixed their own spices for burger flavor so you cannot find that anywhere else. Not sure if Apollow's beef patty is grassfed/organic/pastured raised. I wished patty was thicker! I like them thick like Burger Boss. Remember to order Orange Bang! Delicious! I never miss. LOL. Refill is $00.50 (cents). Parking - there are plenty of parkings in the front and back.

The order process was pretty simple -- I responded to their Instagram story and they reached out with follow-up questions, menu options, and pickup details. The pickup was from a home residence in the city of Garden Grove (off of Brookhurst Street and Hazard Avenue), nearby Pho 79 if you're familiar with the area. The exact address is provided with your order! The owner, Aamir, was very friendly and professional when I picked up my food and the burgers were packaged very neatly in separate boxes. I ordered two smash burgers that included three patties each, which cost $15 per burger. They included caramelized onions and jalapenos, which were a delightful surprise. The patties were a little salty, but upon reading the other reviews, I see that the owner pre-marinates the patty meat. The prices were also steep for just the burger, and I thought my order would come with fries on the side, but that doesn't take away from the quality of the food. All in all, I would return for future orders and would love to see them open a brick-and-mortar restaurant someday, ideally in Garden Grove still. 10/10 rating and five stars all around for a seamless ordering experience, delicious food, and timeless customer service.

The owner is super responsive, and you can tell he wants to provide the best service possible. During this special pop-up event, they were serving two's a tango that features their warm brioche bun along with two halal patties smashed with cheese and carmelized onions on top. The burger itself was massive, with one being more than enough to feed a hungry person. After talking to the owner, he mentioned he pre-marinates his meat, so that could be the reason why the taste was a little salty for us. The sauce is awesome and complimentary, so when ordering, if you don't plan on eating the burger right away, to prevent sogginess, ask for extra on the side. I know some people prefer the meatiness, but I am a sauce type of girl. Overall, the flavors of the burger meshed well! Thank you for adding another place for halal goodness. I'm hoping you guys do well and keep quality up.

The business have a small footprint in a crowed mini-mall anchored by Starbuck and the traffic that entails. Parking is a premium, and I can see how at times unavailable. In now way a deal-breaker, but be aware you may have to be creative to find a parking spot. The restaurant itself is simple and unremarkable. Seven or so tables will likely accomodate 40 or so people. What we were not prepared for was how the food makes you completely forget about the spartan seating area. After being greeted by a friendly manager (I apologize for not getting his name), we decided on the FireFly burger and the double Smashburger. We rounded out the meal with fries and drinks. Oh. My. Lord. These burgers are amazing! Nicely charred outside but still juicy inside. FireFly using Halal beef, so you know the quality of the meat is among the best you'll find. Fries have a unique seasoning that seperates them froom most other burger joint fries. Absolutely delicious! If you want perhaps the best burger around, find this little gem on the corner of Chapman and Euclid in Garden Grove. I promise you won't regret it.
