We came here for tacos Tuesday. my bf placed our order including a drink. We got our tacos but never got the drink. I went up to the register to ask the cashier for the drink we ordered . She gave me a coke in a glass bottle. We finished eating and left. We returned today for tacos Tuesday. The cashier who took our order last time, she mentioned the" accident " that happened. That we supposed paid a can coke not for the glass coke. she even said that she charged her own employee for the mistake she did. She was telling us how we should've at least be aware of what we ordered. Basically blaming us for what her employee did . Even my bf said well if that's a big deal then charge us for it. She was like no my employer already paid for the wrong drink she gave you. Her telling us made me feel uncomfortable bc it wasn't our responsibility. the cashier who complained to us about the "accident" was the owner of the restaurant . she was very rude and aggressive. i just ended up canceling my order and she seem bothered by that too. I came here on a weekday afternoon around lunch after finding this place on Yelp. We were a group of 8 and were the only customers at the restaurant at that time. I was one of the last people to order. I ordered the mixed fajita on the hot stone plate. The fajita included shrimp, beef, and chicken. I was craving an egg so I ordered an egg on top of the plate. The food took quite some time to come out, but eventually I got my food! The plate didn't seem to have much meat and was mainly filled with vegetables. I was craving meats so that's why I ordered that dish. The taste of the meat was good but I wished there was more meat. Service was decent since I believe they may be short staffed. There was a sign that they were looking for a chef so that can be why it was slower than normal. I would definitely come back to try the other menu items. They may be fully staffed at that time also. I went there twice while in the area. The first time it was amazing, and merited another visit, but the second time it was only mediocre. Both times I got a carne asada burrito which came with chips and salsa. The meat was well-seasoned, which was a big plus. I hate it when carne asada isn't seasoned well. The burritos came with cheese, sour cream, a little guac, rice, and beans. The tortillas were grilled which was nice. The only issue, and the difference between the first visit (5 stars) and the second (3 stars) was the rice. My first visit had a generous amount of meat, cheese etc in the burrito and had a great flavor. The second time there was an unfortunate amount of rice which took away from the other flavors. Hopefully that was just a bad day! I also ordered a pastor taco the second time. The taco was large and had a lot of meat on it. The chips were very fresh and salted the first time but bit the second time. All in all, the portions were good and the prices were good as well. Based on the other reviews I'd say this place is worth trying. Hopefully your experience will be more like my first time than my second. read more

We ended up here on accident, but were very pleasantly surprised. The place we were originally looking for looked closed, and we saw Tacos Ocampo across the parking lot. It was a hot, quiet day and we ate at the table outside. I ordered the carnitas quesadilla, plus rice and beans. My SO ordered 3 tacos: carnitas, asada, and chicken. The portions were very generous and the food was delicious. The tortilla on my quesadilla was light and crispy - it tasted homemade. It came with a side or guacamole (really good!) and sour cream. The rice & beans were tasty too. SO said his tacos were the bomb. Each one got an A grade, but the carnitas was his favorite. We relished every delicious bite.
