Needed a place to wait until my car got serviced and was driving and I saw Tomy's. I have to say breakfast time around 9am is a perfect time to dine. I walked in and everything was clean and the cashier was very welcoming! I wanted breakfast and their menu is by pictures, super easy to understand what you're getting! Ordered the Super breakfast for myself and the French toast breakfast and matcha latte for my husband. Everything came out really fast I want to say under 5 mins. Big portions! We we're in line at the buffet across the street and decided we didn't wanna wait in that long line. So we went to the burger spot across the street. I've heard so many good things about this place and I can't believe I've never tried it. They're famous for their $1.99 cheeseburgers so I had to get it. The burger is a good size and comes with lettuce, onions, tomatoes, and a thousand island dressing. I ended up ordering 3 of those cheeseburgers and a side of regular French fries and the total came out to $10 and some change! What a deal! The food took about 5 minutes to be ready so I for sure know it was made fresh. The cheeseburger was the same size as a McDonald's cheeseburger. In fact, the taste was almost similar to a cheeseburger from McDonald's. The patty had some seasoning to it, the burger itself had onions and lettuce and tomato and a special house sauce. Honestly it seems like they went hard on the raw onions which I LOVED. I initially ordered two burgers for myself because I didn't know how big they'd be. I inhaled the first burger and on the second burger I added some modifications with jalapeños and ketchup. It was delicious. The fries were nice and crisp and a good size. There was light seasoning and when they handed the food to us the fries were piping hot! All of the food was still good by the time we got back home (about a 10 min drive). I will definitely be back to maybe try some other items or if I'm feeling thrifty then I'll just get more $1.99 cheeseburgers!
