I loved this place! Yes, it's maybe a bit more expensive than your run-of-the-mill nail place ($32 for a pedicure) but not terribly overpriced or anything. We had a 1pm appointment but arrived about fifteen minutes early, and they were happy to fit us in right away. The place seems really clean - always important - and the women doing our nails were very nice. The pedicure is definitely what I'd call a spa experience: massage chairs, foot massages, lotion, salt scrub, warn towels. Definitely nice and relaxing. read more

I've been to Apollo Nails at least a dozen times and have always been satisfied with my services. It's very close to my house. Ownership keeps the salon very neat and clean. Today was no different, however, Rosella took care of me. I had a spa pedicure and a shellac manicure. That was the best pedicure and manicure I have ever had done. She's a little thing, but she sure knows how to give a deep foot massage and also the best arm and hand massage once my nails and toes were completed. I will definitely return, but next time I will make an appointment in advance, so I can ensure that I get her! She did an amazing job! read more

So sad to give this salon such a low rating. I have been a few times and really enjoyed it. I have also been and was not treated very nicely. The salon is beautiful and clean but certainly needs better customer service. My favorite thing about this salon is the cleanliness of the over all salon. Some salons in Seattle are filthy but this is not the case. I also like that they have a rewards program. It just takes a long time to get any rewards. My least favorite thing about this salon is the customer service. Today I went with my friend who is getting married soon. She had been growing her nails out for a while and asked them not to cut her nails shorter but to trim and shape. They cut them very short and didn't shape them what so ever. They looked horrible. The gel color selection is slim and I don't like many of the options. This time I brought my own nail polish and gel polish. Tiffany who did my nails said it was fine. Once she was half way thought she said the polish was way too thin because it was new so it probably was going to look really bad. She didn't offer for me to pick a new color or anything. Then once she finished two coats she said this nail polish is way too thick and she didn't think I should do another coat or it will fall off. Then she did another coat. She didn't make any sense. She laughed and told me she did the best she could. I was so annoyed. To make things worse, Amy who did my toes did an awful job. A five year old could have done a better job. I had gotten a pedicure the week before and messed my big toes up causing me to repaint them myself. Since I just got a pedicure, I just needed a polish change to freshen them up before a trip. I shouldn't have wasted my money. I painted them better myself after. Amy was horrible and made lots of lumps. Another girl tried to fix them and blamed it on the fact that Amy was new. The ladies doing our nails were laughing and talking bad about us the whole time. So rude. When I complained when I was paying the front desk girl said Amy wasn't new she had been working there for 4 months. I think she should go back to training. The front desk girls tried to be nice that my friend and I were so disappointed but didn't offer to fix anything. Another time I was getting a manicure, the lady cut my finger so bad it bleed the whole appointment. It didn't heal for about two weeks. We don't ever want to come back after these horrible experiences. I would stay away from this salon. I would rather drive 30 min to Paradise Nail Salon in Bellevue that really cares about their customers and treats you great. read more

I LOVE coming here! It's a nice nail salon in our Queen Anne neighborhood. Very friendly and always welcoming - it's fairly easy to get a walk-in appointment, but if you want to be certain just call and schedule ahead of time as they can get busy on the weekends. I always try to see Kim - she is super sweet and very attentive to making sure you love the shape and color of the polish you chose. Very timely and my shellac always lasts around 2 weeks before the grow-out is too long. The salon is VERY clean - and ALWAYS smells nice (they do not do acrylic - so no stinky fumes like other nail salons). I highly recommend Apollo. read more

I love getting my nails done here! I do recommend making an appointment, especially on the weekends or holidays as it does get busy. Haven't really been during the middle of the week. Love the massage chairs too! It is a tad expensive for a mani-pedi but I feel as though the experience, friendly staff, and quality of ingredients/atmosphere are what make it so pricey. I went on Valentines Day with a friend and we throughly enjoyed our time. I was also able to get a lip wax without making a prior appointment. Besides great color application, my feet and hands feel smooth & cuticles are all trimmed up/pushed back gently. Will definitely be back again for some creative and fun nails. read more

I've had a number of pedicures here and they were always quite good for the price. However, 11/11/18 was very disappointing. I clearly got a new / rookie tech. She did not know what she was doing. She was being coached (unsuccessfully) from techs on either side. By the time she put "hot" towels on my legs they were cold. She couldn't get the hot wax on my whole foot. I had to tell her not to squeeze my legs and toes so hard. She messed up the polish when trying to help put my flip flops on and by evening the polish was chipping off. I'd have to say ask for an experienced tech or go elsewhere. read more

I have been in for two pedicures and 1 manicure total. My first service was fine...however my second pedicure began chipping less than a week after I received it. I honestly think she forgot to use top coat...there was no gloss or shine to it at all and it wasn't a matte polish. She also hardly touched my cuticles, I felt that she didn't shape my nails either...I write this after I visited a different salon (I don't really get pedicures often just every 3 weeks or so in the Summer..) and my nails look amazing, so I'm reminded that this was ...not the best. The massage hurt - when you are paying for a pedicure the massage should be...comforting and nice instead of someone literally pressing on your shin bones so hard you feel like you are going to get a bruise, hardly massaging the arches of your feet at all. She seriously spent about 5 minutes straight just going at my shin/ankle that I was in pain about to ask her to stop. Maybe it was just this particular employee, not sure I will be back... The front desk associates were very nice and pleasant and they do have a very wide color selection. The ambiance is very well lit and modern/minimal as well. I wish I liked my last service so I could go back..but not really feeling it. read more

Ive only been here once it was for a mani pedi for my birthday last year. The tech was great and friendly. The quality was where it failed. Later that evening at my party my shellac started peeling and by Monday it was gone. My pedi smudged and rhe sandles i had on ruined due to polish not being dry after abour 6 hours in between time. The facility is nice, but the service isn't great. I got a pedicure from Rosetta and during the massage she wouldn't touch my feet. I read another review that said the staff needs to talk more, but until you're in the seat, you won't get what that means. They won't even say hello. The Polish job itself was good. I showed up with my friend and she was also getting a manicure. When I finished, Rosetta asked if I'd like to stay in the massage chair while I waited for my friend to finish; five minutes later another staff member asked me to move to the couch. They don't have any uv or air dryers either, so my polish was still very wet. I've heard that the Cap Hill location is better, so I might try there, but I won't come back here. read more

When I made my appointment I was under the impression that it would cost $35 for a shellac manicure. When I was checking. Out, I was charged $45 because there was a whooping $10 add on for French tip which was not publicized anywhere on their website and nobody that worked there informed me of that either. The white pet of the tip was almost translucent and was not worth the $45 that I spent. I will not be going back or recommending Apollo to any of my friends. I debated between 3 and 4 stars for this review. My esthetician was very friendly and skilled. I've been getting waxed for years and it was among the more painless appointments I had. That being said, I was disappointed with what I got for the price I paid. I know I'm new to the area and prices are generally higher in here in Seattle, however, I paid $50 for an extended bikini and less hair was removed than a normal bikini from salons where I'm from. If this is an extended bikini, I can't imagine what a regular bikini wax is like. Also, it was a little weird that the esthetician remained in the room while I dressed and undressed. I'm accustomed to a little more privacy than that. So while I really liked my esthetician and thought the place was clean and relaxing, I will be trying another salon for my waxing needs, where the price is more reasonable, and I feel like I get my money's worth. read more

Foot leg massage not good lasted less then five minutes. Massage chair didn't work. My feet feel like they didn't get the paid attention I was hoping for especially for the price. Unfortunately though my mother who has an ingrown nail that requires care still has pain in her toe almost two months after I took her and a friend here. Looks like I have to take her to see a doc because the toe still hurts. She describes the esthetician as "digging into it.." which hurt her and she had limped home after. disclaimer: this is for eyelash extensions only! i'm having a really hard time deciding on how to rate this place... there are so many pros: the place seems really well run & is very clean & attractive. all the staff i had contact with were pleasant & professional. it's really easy to book an appt online. good customer service when i had an issue. the cons: despite the fact that i was meticulous about the after care, the extensions started to fall off almost immediately. about a third of them were gone less than a week later. i'm not talking about the extensions making my eyelashes fall out, i'm talking about the extensions detaching from my existing eyelashes. while i appreciate the free redo, i'm not sure i buy the explanation that my eyelashes are too thin for the extensions to attach to. i mean, isn't that *why* people get extensions in the first place? read more

I cannot speak for the nail services here however DO NOT have any waxing services done here! I came in today for a simple upper lip wax. I had never been in before but I live in the neighborhood and though who could really mess up something so simple? Well apparently they can. She was clearly in a rush the entire time and was not very attentive. She waxed the same spots multiple times because she didn't rip it off correctly the first time (mind you I've been getting waxes for 10+ years and have friends who are estheticians so I'm pretty knowledgeable). Not only this but she PULLED A CHUNK OF MY SKIN OUT WITH THE TWEEZERS! She was trying to grab a few strays and pinched and pulled my actual skin removing a chunk and causing me to bleed! I have never had such an absolutely awful experience! I will never come back here and I'm absolutely horrified that such a nice looking salon would employ people who either don't know what they're doing or simply don't care enough to not potentially scar their clients. THIS IS NOT THE PLACE TO BOOK LARGE PARTIES!!! I decided to book a bridal party for my sister, Shawna Morrison. My sis just got married on 8/31/14 and I had heard really good things about the level of service and attention received from the staff. But please warned, this is not the place to go with large parties of people. I booked our party with Daisy and did not realize what I was in for! I have never encountered such a poor example of customer service in my entire life! Upon booking our group, I was required to provide a $140 deposit. I had no problem doing this and provided my credit card information. Daisy went over the rules for cancellations and the requirements for food and alcohol. That's all that was discussed. I provided the information for all the names & services and that was it! On 8/30/14, most of the bridal party was in attendance with the exception of 6 people. The bride, myself and 4 others were late due to traffic and other crazy variables as the wedding was the next day! We should not be excused for showing up late. However, Daisy stated that I had forfeited the $140 deposit due to my tardiness. Even though we were booked for a 2 hour slot and 9 others in our party had showed up on time and were receiving services as we were standing there. Daisy stated that she took our tardiness as a cancellation, even though I called her to let her know we were going to be late! Daisy took in walk-ins to replace our services. We went back and forth and she the brought out a woman who she stated was the spa owner. Both of them emphatically stated that they were unable to provide the rest of our group with any services. This included the bride who was getting married the NEXT day! I asked both Daisy and "the owner" to ignore all services for the rest our group and at least take care of the bride! THEY REFUSED! Now mind you, it was now around 4:15 pm and we still had to find a place to perform nail/pedicure services for the bride, maid-of-honor, 2 Jr. Bridesmaids, mother-of-bride and another bridesmaid! I didn't want to involve anyone else in this situation. So I paid for 2 of the Jr. Bridesmaids and everyone else paid for their services separately. We now had to find a salon to perform all the services Apollo refused to perform! We also had the rehearsal beginning within the next couple of hours! So I left Apollo forfeiting my deposit and they would not allow me to apply the services for the 2 Jr. Bridesmaids! So I lost the $140 deposit, paid $57.00 for 2 pedicures for the Jr. Bridesmaids and incurred $140.00 in charges from Pro Nails! This was completely unbelievable! We then left Apollo Nails and went to #1 Pro Nails in Queen Anne. Anne at Pro Nails was able to service every person in our party AND ESPECIALLY the bride!!! She was nice, flexible and provided the best customer service! Especially in light of the ridiculous fiasco with Apollo Nails & Spa! Never in my life have I encountered such a rude, unprofessional and callous person as Daisy at Apollo! I will never set foot in that spa again and will continue to discourage all family and friends to not visit this spa! I have 600+ friends on Facebook and will be posting this review so that everyone is aware of this story and choose not to solicit this pathetic place of business! read more

Apollo is a nicer nail salon than most. The whole staff is very professional and organized and they honor your appointment time. I went on a Saturday and it seemed that every seat was taken. I got a shellac manicure and I was disappointed by the quality. While the service was great, my manicure was not. It wasn't done with great detail and so it started peeling less than a week later due to the sloppiness. All of Apollos services are 10+ more dollars than the average salon but I've received better manicures for less. Not as good as I expecting. read more

Being a guy it's hard to find a nail salon I feel comfortable in. I have been to Apollo Nails and Spa quite a few times now and everytime they have made me feel welcome and their number one priority. Despite the fact this place is always busy, their really isn't much of a wait time at all.
