I was never informed that this would happen, and as a result, essential replacement filters are no longer available. Within the first two years of ownership, I was also required to replace both the pump and the control panel, incurring approximately $300 in service call fees alone, not including the cost of the parts themselves. Now that critical replacement filters can no longer be obtained, I've concluded that it is no longer financially reasonable to continue investing in this unit. Before reaching that decision, I contacted Marquis to inquire about purchasing a replacement cover. Because this is a single-person hot tub with a unique shape, it requires a custom-fit cover. I was quoted $600 for a cover that Marquis already has in its warehouse. When I asked whether the price could be reduced given that the model has been discontinued after such a short time, I was told the quote already reflected a $200 "discount." For a product discontinued just four years after purchase--especially one for which essential parts are no longer supported--this response feels unreasonable and deeply disappointing.

Stopped by the Pool & Spa House to see how bad the damage could be and what I would need to do to fix it. Can I just say that Don was the greatest. He totally eased my fears and told me that hot tubs frequently get pin hole leaks in some of the joints and fittings. He even took me over to some of their systems on display to demonstrate where and what to look for in determining the type of leak. The best part was his recommendation of a product called "Fix a Leak" and how to apply it to my system. The quality of the hot tubs, the professional attitudes of Dustin and Nick and the warranty all contributed to us purchasing a J-345 from them. The purchase of the hot tub was fairly simple, they presented options for us, went through the warranty, how to setup the water, the site, electrical, etc. We never once felt pressured to buy a tub at all -- which is unlike some others I won't name. The warranty on these tubs seems to out class anything else in the area as well. This bodes well with me since it usually translates to a quality product. Jacuzzi has been around for years, so the name already has a sense of trust. What struck me the most was how professional they were AFTER we purchased our tub. Still bending over backwards to make sure we were happy, calling to check in to see if we had any questions and giving tips when new things came up. Would definitely recommend them to anyone that is interested in a quality hot tub.
