How many Apple Store employees does it take to screw in a lightbulb?
    Erika T.

This store could do much better with a queue so customers who come in the door aren't helped ahead of customers who have been waiting. Two people came in after me and were immediately helped while I stood around waiting for someone to notice I had been standing there. They did not notice so I decided to leave and opted to speak to a manager. I had to wait 10 mins to get someone's attention to even make that request. As soon as I mentioned I wanted to speak with a manager, there were 3 people very available to help. During this time, they had all been standing around in a cluster talking. I spoke with a manager. I had to ask her name (Tamara) since she didn't offer it. She listened to my concerns and was understanding, but not apologetic and didn't ask if she could help me or if she could get someone to help me. She explained their open help concept and said she would work on training, then allowed me to walk out the door to give my business to a competitor.

Is there ever a shopping center that's higher end that doesn't have an Apple store? Must always have an Apple store, right? Looked for in ear headphones, the Beats are $150. May think on it more. Only need them for the ride home anyways.

It is recommended to have and appointment. I got here about 10 minutes early and within 5 minutes after my appointment they assisted me. They noted that my headphones have a known issue and is covered by Apple. So I was glad about that. They took care of everything. Customer service is impeccable and I am always glad to see all the new stuff. I need to win the lottery

This stores customer service sucks. As the only big apple store in NM they dont care about customer service. They deal in volume and people who actually buy things that have issues are left to wait and wait and wait and wait either that day or over time for a repair. This store is horrible and the management never seems to care much other than saying we only have so many techs and not all of then are certified to work computers. Blah blah blah blah. Apple the hold you have on customers is pitiful and disappointing. I've been turned away so many times for various reasons when my equipment fails and once they have your money no one cares.

The phone is bad and the case was damaged when Apple gave it to me when I PAID $1300 FOR NOTHING

Bad attitude by most employees. You may get lucky and find a good one. What a shame.

Employees are great, and I'm constantly blown away by how sleek everything Apple is. Why would you use anything else?

I think these Genius bar people are extremely underpaid because that would explain their levels of rudeness at this location.

How do I make an appointment at the apple store to get my iPad unlocked?

Make an appt via apple.com. You can also call Apple. I'd dissuade you from walking in - these guys are packed all day long and you're unlikely to receive help as a walk in.

Walked in, uptown... I'm used to the Apple Store. I looked around and no one had a tablet to check…read moreme in. Instead Kimberly and another employee approached me. Both greeted me, Kimberly helped, the gentleman that didn't introduce himself went back to waiting to help other customers. I was setting up a new business line, I'm an existing (Apple-centric) T-Mobile customer, with a shared account (I'm the secondary.) First, I knew what to bring. That's mattered a lot. Business account? Bring in your EIN, incorporation articles, and business license. Payment method(s), ID, and a checklist of what any phone bought would need. I'm a motorcycle safety instructor. I need a fast and contemporary phone. Since Apple is premium and I'm launching a new business, I settled on Windows (and Linux,) and an Android. I teach riding on the street, in canyons and in the mountains. Places where phones can get banged up. I need an extremely strong device, and fast, inexpensive, replacement in the worst case. Kimberly set me up with the plan, not too much, not gasping for data the last 10 days she suggested the exact plan I was looking at. The phone, I got to hold the device, no battery, no interaction, an Xcover 7 pro. It arrived, as I was told it would, Wednesday. I went in Sunday afternoon. The setup process for the account was quick and easy, I knew what I needed, Kimberly knew her products, and deals going on. Phone selection and purchase were quick and easy. The only thing that took a while was getting my phone delivered. I do have a couple major complaints about T-Mobile, but that's corporate. They don't affect my review of the store at all. First. I called, they couldn't find my phone number. No, not retail. I called back, to the dedicated business line, and got the same number not found, and rolled to the exact same residential customer service rep. Two times. They are a phone company that can't get their phone lines properly routed. That's not a red flag, it's a Red Sea. It was days. And that leads to the second major complaint: I had to call customer service, before I had my device. Received their documents, signed them. Received confirmation, received an invite to activate my new phone. No receipt, no information about shipping. No shipped notification, no tracking information. Nothing. I called Wednesday afternoon. Got bounced for hours, just trying to find out if it was shipped. I found out it was shipped when it was delivered, as I was on hold AGAIN for about fifteen minutes, trying to get me transferred to business. The retail customer service was getting redirected to retail customer service, when they tried connecting via internal extensions. Do better corporate T-Mobile, keep doing great, local store!

I hate writing negative reviews, especially because I've been a customer here for years. In fact,…read moreI've purchased three phones from them this year alone and have always had a good experience. Unfortunately, you don't really find out how a business treats its customers until something goes wrong. I was a happy customer until I actually needed their help. That's when you find out what a business is really like. I purchased an iPhone for my elderly grandmother. She tried using it for a couple of weeks but ultimately decided it was too complicated and wanted to keep her old phone. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the device. it was still in like-new condition. I had the receipt and everything Before purchasing, I understood there was a 30-day warranty. What I wasn't told was that the "warranty" only covers repairs, not returns if a customer simply changes their mind. While that may be their policy, it's an incredibly unfriendly one for a business selling used phones. Instead of accepting a like-new phone back into inventory, they left me with a $500 phone that I now have to photograph, list, negotiate over, and sell myself. They could have easily resold it, but instead they chose to make it the customer's problem. I noticed several other reviews where people had similar concerns, and the responses are mostly some version of, "We're sorry you feel that way." At some point, it stops sounding like customer service and starts sounding like a pattern. I won't be buying my next phone here. Not because of the product, but because customer service matters most when something doesn't go exactly as planned.
