I made an appointment online. I got there a little early. The store had a lot of people. I did not see a person I can check in with. I haven't been here for years. I try to avoid coming here. When I came, I remember there was a check in person. It was more organized back when. I just asked someone in an apple t-shirt. They checked me in and asked me to sit at a table. I waited for quite a while, 40 mins. Seemed like everyone was getting helped, but me. When someone finally did come over, they explained the person I was assigned to wasn't available and then reassigned to someone else. The person who helped me was nice and helpful. I had to check in my laptop, they could not fix the problem on the spot. The problem was more in-depth. I would definitely avoid coming if I can. This place is liking going to the DMV. It's unorganized, the wait is terrible even if I made an appointment, other people waiting look unhappy. I really did what I could at home. I did a lot of trouble shooting. The apple site has a help site I used, but there was something really wrong with it. Also, calling back the repair department is terrible. I called back serval times, no one answers the phone. You get an automated at first and transferred. Customer service is terrible.

I couldn't ask for better customer service. I arrived around 30 minutes before my appointment. I went to check in and was told to come back in 20 minutes as they are running behind. I came back in 20 minutes and checked in again. The gentleman remembered my name and checked me in and told me to go to the back and wait on the cubes. I was there for a couple minutes and another staff member came up to me and made sure I had checked in, let me know he won't be the staff member helping me and he asked me if I had done the diagnostic yet. (He said it would speed up the process if I did it now while I waited.) I said no and he showed me how to do it. About 5 minutes after my appointment time another staff member, who was actually assigned to help me came up to me and sat on adjacent cube. She did another diagnostic on my phone. Asked me a lot of questions and I explained the issue. My battery was at 75% and inquired about getting a new battery. After a lot of talking I concluded as I was planning on upgrading soon that it would be best to just use a power bank till I got my new phone. It would be $89 plus tax to get a new battery and there is a risk of the phone getting ruined while they do the installation process and if that happens it will take 5 days to get me a new phone. A new battery won't guarantee the overheating problem I have been having. I currently have the iphone 13 mini and according to apple it's only worth $100 for trade in. I think my carrier will offer more. I can even trade it in for an new phone so we didn't go over the trade in options.

Came here on Friday evening after Christmas Day. The store was very busy but they had a lot of people working. I was able to be helped out to purchase my new phone. The guy working stay with me the whole time during my phone purchase, getting the case, and adding apple care to my phone. But then when we traded me off to the next table because I needed to transfer my phone services into my new phone, the second guy who was supposed to help us was not helpful at all. He kept talking to other people when we had questions and only helped us till the end. I spent an hour and a half in the store. But the store was big and spacious. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase.

It's very odd to find such a main location in the mall, but here it is. Mea culpa- showed up a few minutes late to an appointment set online. They even message you in the days leading up to the appointment, as well as the day of to allow you to cancel if necessary. Or make an appointment in the middle of the week in the middle of the day. Probably could have walked in and scored an Apple "Genius" person by just showing up. They fixed it. Free of charge. I'm good with that. Had to brave the mall. Got a little anxious about that.

Noticed lately my iPhone doesn't hold a full charge like it used to and it was occasionally overheating. In the settings under battery it confirmed it was working at 75%. Scheduled an appointment on apple and brought it in to the Arden location. The friendly technician confirmed the issue I was experiencing and explained the process. Unfortunately they needed to order a part, the following day the part was delivered towards end of day so I brought the phone back two days later and dropped it off. They projected it be done in two hours and so I gave them five. When I went back to pickup my phone they explained they couldn't safely get the battery out without possibly breaking things, so they were giving me a (refurbished) new iPhone. I had to then go to AT&T to get my number switched over and additionally spend the rest of the night logging into my apps and confirming apple payments. I like that they stood behind their service and replaced it instead of doing something potentially damaging. Even if it meant the rest of my day then needed to be spent getting it all back to normal.

My initial experience was terrible. I wanted help with receiving email on my iPhone from Xfinity. The guy that greeted me pointed me to a guy with a brown beanie. He looked at my settings which I verified were correct the night before. Then he said users are having problems with Xfinity, call Xfinity support, download some mail software, then suggested to google the answer, what a bunch of BS, by the way I have worked in IT for a long time. I asked to get appointment with Genius Bar. He said they could probably not help u, he basically discouraged me. I asked him to set it up and waited an hour. These type of people are annoying, just say u don't know the answer. Rating for this guy minus 5. Alisa at Genius Bar She suggested to delete the account and recreate it, just need to know credentials. Viola magic it is fixed. This also fixed the problem exporting Apple card statements. I had Apple support work with me a year ago for over an hour and could not get it to work. Alisa also explained Private Browsing and Locate services. Also purchased an air tag from her. Alisa is amazing. My rating is based on math. First guy minus 5, Alisa plus 10.

If I get battery replacement for an iPhone will it be a with a 100% capacity brand new apple battery? What if my phone gets broken during service? Is there any kind of guarantee or am I just SOL?

depends on the age of your phone. if its fairly new, they should have batteries in stock. Call Apple Care to expedite service and replacement

Do you guys unlock the phone so a SIM card can work?

Only the carrier that locked the phone originally can unlock an iPhone. Apple can tell you who locked it and you can request an unlock from that carrier

Does it have a Becklin machine to put on a screen protector?

The Apple staff will put your purchased in the store screen protector on your phone. They use a machine for a perfect no bubble fit

I had an amazing experience with Dan's Computer Repair…read more He was very quick to respond, and asked me a lot of good questions to get clarity on the issue I had reached out to him about initially-my laptop wasn't charging properly. He came and picked up the laptop so he could try to diagnose the issue. Well, after testing it and looking at it, he said there was nothing wrong. And the darn thing was charging for him! Doh! He promptly dropped my laptop back the next day and wasn't going to bill me because there was no issue to repair. But, given the efforts he had put in and the driving back and forth, it didn't feel right so I gave him something to say thanks because he absolutely deserved it. AND....not sure if he gave the thing a pep talk but my laptop has been working perfectly since then. Dan is professional, communicative and timely. All things I really appreciate in anyone, especially a vendor. His initial quote on the repair costs was also very reasonable and I appreciated that he said he would let me know if it would cost more than the quote and that he would get my approval before doing any repairs. I highly recommend reaching out to Dan to for help with any hardware or software issues you may be experiencing with your tech. Hopefully I won't need to any time soon, but will do so when the time comes!
