The Painted Rooster by the sweetest elderly couple you've ever talked to. It's only open on First Friday weekends (when Bella Patina is open) until 2 pm, so you always need to plan ahead and incorporate this breakfast stop into your First Friday antiquing. You place your order at the counter and give your name. When your food is ready, they call your name and bring your food over to you. This gets a little chaotic when it starts to get busy. The space is small with a couple of tables, so it gets packed quickly. The breakfast burrito is comfortingly delicious and generously sized for the price. Don't forget the homemade salsa over by the silverware and napkins under the windows. There are always freshly homemade baked goods that you must indulge in. The Painted Rooster is the perfect way to fuel your Bella Patina wanderings! I recommend starting here and then working your way back down to the first floor!

A warm fluffy and moist biscuit under a generous serving of rich and creamy sausage forward gravy. My "grape salad" was 5 grapes with a very thin layer of yogurt sauce. Quich was decent size. But still left a bit hungry. Service was good Atmosphere was comfortable, clean and had lots of outlets so you could work and have your coffee. Enjoyed my time there. Would go back.
