APPLE @ BELLEVUE Parking is available in any of their garages and parking structures, and it's completely free. It can get extremely busy especially on weekends. If you come on a weekday, it's not too bad and you should be able to find a spot fairly easily. On weekends, you will find parking, but it may take some time. There are multiple garages to choose from, but I'd recommend parking at either Macy's or Nordstrom for convenience. This was honestly one of the most uncoordinated Apple Store experiences I've ever had. I came in with a very old laptop that I've owned for several years and just wanted to do a simple trade-in for store credit. When I entered, a staff member with an iPad was coordinating customers and directing them to different areas. I was able to speak with him within about two minutes, there were only two people ahead of us. We were told to stand near the laptop section and that a representative would come help us shortly. We stood there for 5-10 minutes, and no one acknowledged us. No eye contact, no check-ins, nothing. It genuinely felt like no one was coming to help us at all. There were several other customers in the same situation, standing around the phone and charger areas, seemingly waiting after being directed there as well. Eventually, I flagged down a worker who told me they'd get someone to help me shortly. A manager who was helping another customer, interestingly came over to help me within a minute. The other customer he had been assisting was calling his name, and I even told him it was okay if he needed to help them first since he was assisting them. He responded by saying he was the manager and implied he could handle multiple people at once. His attitude came off a bit cocky, which was put off. At that point, I just wanted to finish the trade-in and leave. He did help me process it, and I received $165 in Apple Store credit, which was nice. Despite the credit, this was one of the most unorganized Apple Store experiences I've had. I even came on a weekday expecting it to be calmer, but it was still very packed. I'd recommend visiting a different Apple Store location if possible. If you do come here, try going on a weekday and avoid visiting during the holidays. read more

Sometimes you have to wait a little bit, but by the time you get an Apple employee, you will not be disappointed. Customers service is A Plus. We came on needing new devices and help because one was dead. The service was incredible. Especially Angelica who was so patient with my husband helping him get his watch paired with a new phone. This Apple Store in Bellevue Square is located upstairs near Nordstrom. There's no restroom inside the store, just shared ones in the mall. I visited to try out the newer iPhone cameras. The store is clean and the layout is easy to navigate. The staff were on point, and it's worth noting they are polite, quick to help, but not overly aggressive. It's what you expect from Apple. I am very frustrated with their service and the lack of sympathy towards customers. I had a very urgent situation with my MacBook (issues with the keyboard, which prevented me from logging in through the lock screen). I approached the staff at the entrance and explained the situation. However, they stated that no technicians were available until Tuesday. I asked about alternative solutions, as the situation was urgent, but they showed no sign of sympathy. After my second attempt, they offered to have me speak with their manager, who didn't appear friendly either and seemed to laugh when the staff explained my situation. In the end, I was told exactly the same thing I had already heard: no technicians until Tuesday, and they couldn't do anything right now. They suggested I try other locations or contact the customer line. I tried explaining that it might not be a big issue and that I simply needed someone to take a quick look at my problem, but that was useless. I understand that there might not be much they could do at the moment, but their attitude was not customer-friendly at all. Repeating the same information as if I didn't understand it the first time was frustrating. Busy store. We stopped by to pick up phones, but they didn't have any in stock. We did get a watch. On another day we picked up cell phone cases. The staff was very quick to offer help. The store is average size. They have new products on display on tables around the store. On both days we stopped by, and they were giving a tutorial on how to use their product. I found this handy. I am writing to share the absolutely ridiculous experience I had at the Apple Store in Bellevue Square. I took my iPhone in because the back camera glass was scratched and dented. Since I have AppleCare--and have had this exact issue fixed at this very store before--I expected them to help me. Instead, a staff member flatly told me that it was just a "cosmetic issue" and therefore not eligible for repair. I found this completely unreasonable and inconsistent, considering they had repaired this same issue previously. Naturally, I questioned their so-called "standard" for deciding what's fixable. I even asked, "If the phone were actually broken, would you fix it?" Their response? A dismissive, "Sorry, that's policy." Frustrated, I left the store, called AppleCare, and also asked friends about their repair experiences. I felt compelled to give it another shot, so I made a second appointment an hour later. While waiting outside, my phone accidentally fell to the ground--an unfortunate mishap, but things happen. When I returned for my second appointment, I waited a few minutes before a senior manager named J came out. Shockingly, he wasted no time accusing me of deliberately breaking my own phone just to force a repair under AppleCare. I asked him how he reached that baseless conclusion, and he admitted he hadn't seen me do anything at all--he simply "put the pieces together" because I'd inquired earlier about fixing a broken device, then came back with a phone that was now more damaged. Based on that flimsy logic, he decided I must have damaged it on purpose. Then he lectured me on how I was "wrong" to do that! He took less than five minutes to gather whatever information he thought he needed from the staff, and then left a note on my account effectively banning my phone from being serviced at any Apple Store. Meanwhile, when I showed up on time for both of my appointments, I had to wait at least ten minutes just for someone to help me. It's astonishing how quickly they jump to accuse and punish paying customers, yet they show no sense of urgency when it comes to actually providing customer service. This ordeal was beyond disappointing--being unfairly accused and then barred from service, all without any real evidence, is both insulting and outrageous. If this is how Apple treats customers who simply want a device repaired under a valid AppleCare plan, I can't imagine what they consider "proper" customer care. When I spoke with J, he told me, "This iPhone will be excluded from any service at any Apple Store. You did this the wrong way. The only option is to buy a new one." He seemed to be enjoying himself while lecturing me, practically smirking the whole time. Yet when I contacted another Apple Store later, they said they could do an out-of-warranty repair for around $200--meaning there was an alternative to buying an entirely new device. Clearly, J misled me, never mentioning this out-of-warranty repair option. He acted like purchasing a brand-new iPhone was the only solution. I can't believe a senior manager--someone who's supposed to lead an Apple Store--would take an adversarial stance toward a customer and show such skill in punishing rather than helping. Retail stores in general get a bad rap on customer service and while everyone is entitled to their opinion, I'd like to add some context on why I gave 5 stars. I visited the store on launch day of the iphone 13 models. I had a pre-ordered the phone. I arrived in my window but was surprised to see a line out the store and around it. At first I was thinking, "what's the point of giving you an appointment window when you give it to 20 other people?" I then took a moment and thought, okay lets evaluate this on how I am treated by the actual human beings in the store. Let me just say that every interaction was a pleasant one. You could tell the employees were doing their best with the huge lines and trying to accommodate everyone's needs. In a environment such as this, you encounter all sorts of skill and experience levels from the customers who are coming in for an event like this. Personally, I would of had little patience for people who didn't realize you needed to back up your phone beforehand or bring your ID (things mentioned in the pre-order email) but as I witness these things, the Apple employees showed patience and kindness during these interactions. My interaction and transaction was pretty straight forward. I knew what to expect when buying a new phone and trading in my older one. The small talk was great while waiting for the transaction to be complete and I look forward to my next visit there (hello new apple watch). read more

I am so disappointed by their customer service. I've been working on my company's business account - they offer a 6% loyalty program, except for, nothing is covered by it. I've been communicating with someone in their business department and he's been calling asking for me 3-5 times per day and it's becoming obnoxious. I've asked him explicitly to please respond to my e-mail and he is refusing to do so. I would have just taken care of this problem when I was in the store, except for I couldn't get any assistance after waiting for almost an hour. I was told repeatedly that I would be helped soon, and only for the assistance never to come. I understand they get busy, but just be honest with me. "hey, this could be an hour or maybe even more". Worker got me sick. Stood close to me and he had that sick smell on him. That same stale smell in a room when you walk in and you smell that person being sick? I've been sick for over 12 days and have been recovering. I'm never going into this store ever again. First time ever getting sick here and I've been going to this store forever. Been dizzy not getting enough oxygen and been trying to breath through my nose as usual, but I can smell his same sick stench whenever I exhale. Been taking all sorts of medicine and supplements. Whatever this guy employee had, he passed it onto me, and I've been extremely sick and trying to spray down my entire home whenever I smell that same smell. Apple Store should be temperature checking employees and their oxygen levels to determine health before allowing people to work. He looked unwell too appearing very low energy and drone like expression on his face, and I should've listened to my instincts and left the store instead of dealing with an unwell employee. I think I just got myself sick again even after dousing it in boiling water. I should've thrown away the tooth brush and used a brand new one. In short, this store is overstaffed and under qualified to do any sort of technical support. Never wasting my time here again. To make matters worse I had to bus over an hour just to get here. I was on time for my appointment and sat there for at least 25-30 minutes until someone helped me. This person couldn't help me but asked what was wrong with my phone so he could add notes to my ticket. Eventually about 10 minutes later, the genius arrived. To put things in perspective, I counted over 20 red shirts mulling around, talking with guests and co-workers...definitely not busy at 2 pm on a monday. I explained my scenario again (they don't read notes I guess) about the phone update that bricked my phone (ps. do NOT install iOS 17.1.2 right now). This genius was nice enough but would not do anything to help. He stated my phone was in perfect shape, no water damage or signs of abuse so he agreed that software was the culprit. He tried to restore the phone on site, but somehow couldn't do it. Apparently next step in customer service for technical support when first avenue fails is to push the customer to buy a new phone. I asked to speak with the manager and was linked up with the first person I interacted with who added notes to my account (supposedly). I spoke with this manager less than 15 minutes prior, did not move seats and he decided gaslighting me was the best option to help me."So I hear you're wanting my help about pricing a new phone?". I said no and that I needed tech help, and his attitude changes to rude. After further back and forth, he would not acknowledge the notes on my phone or admit that software caused the problem. I've been an Apple customer since 1998, and Steve Jobs would not stand for this type of customer service. I wish I remembered the manager's name because I would be for sure naming him here. Didn't really believe that an Apple store would be so poorly reviewed, but was there today and yes, I can report that these negative reviews are well founded. I went with an iPad problem (no way to make an appointment for this which is a larger Apple problem). There, I was told they don't do data transfer for users. Fine, that wasn't the problem. So, their staff helped initially and then left me to watch the progress bar. No folllow up from the original contact. I left after 50 minutes watching the progress bar stall. A family member had bought a fake Apple product for a lot of money and we had no idea. The air pod pro max kept having issues and we had taken it in a few times and they had got them to work again! This time we were frustrated and wanted to get them sent in for repair and that's when we found out they were fake. My husband happened to be with us when the news was shared. He had a tough time believing this was possible and that people engage in this behavior. The manager was so kind and used empathy when dealing with my shocked and upset husband. Any training he has had with mental health were truly appreciated because I don't think I could have handled the situation with such patience. My service in this Apple store has always been top-notch. I made a Genius Bar appointment to send my laptop off as part of the keyboard program. I was greeted immediately upon arriving in the store and my appointment started right on time. The turnaround time on my laptop was incredibly fast. My appointment was on Monday morning and by Wednesday morning I got a notification it was ready for pickup. The staff is always friendly and ready to help. I had to run some errands, so when my wife came back, she told me the trade-in was only $170. I was like, a computer that cost $1580 in 2015 can't be only worth $170 now? So we looked it up online. The trade-in value quoted online for the same specs was $390. So we went back to the store and showed the store employee (see photo below) live going thru the trade in quote on a store display phone and show him the difference, but he said we had to call Apple Care as the old computer is already shipped out, so he can't make adjustments now. We call Apple Care, and they say it's the store's problem, not theirs. So...what am I to do? Who would have thought to compare Apple's own online trade-in quote with Apple's own in-store trading quote? Who would have think they would have been different? Apple really really screwed up this time...$170 vs $390 is a huge difference. What's wrong with you people. Do I have to do research shopping even against different parts of your own services? Hopefully everyone read all these reviews before going to buy from this store. I obviously did not and had a terrible experience. Went in yesterday to purchase the new IPhone. The lady there helped charged my credit card incorrectly (didn't apologized) but said she can reversed the charge and I will see it on my credit card in 2 minutes. Encouraged me to check my credit card to proof she was correct. So I did, nope, it was not returned back to my credit card. She got another sales person to assist while I was in the phone with my credit card company. Now both sales representatives said it could take up to 5 minutes to have the return processed through. After 15 minutes my credit card company said they have not seen the transaction, I repeated to both of them. On sales lady said "you don't need to speak so loud" ran to her manager to assist me instead. Which is not a problem for me. Manager started telling me he's got over 10 years of experience here. I interrupted and said congratulations, but I just want the return to be processed correctly. He said this could take minimum of 24-48 hours not 2-5 minutes that the both sales person told me and encouraged me to check with my credit card company. Not once did any of there 2 sales associates and the manager apologize to me and said it was an "honest mistake" and said "accidents do happen". Great! Further instead of trying to solve the situation, the manager said you should have requested an Apple credit, then use the credit to buy the phone. I said if we do that, won't I have extra Apple credit since the phone I wanted is less than what was being charged? He said yes. So my final replied to the manager was 1, that was an option your sales associates should have given me initially and 2, even if she did, I would have said no, why would I consider paying my credit card in full just to have Apple credit sitting on my account? We came here on a weekday evening to purchase our first apple phones. We had walked by many times, but never had to actually go inside. Upon arrival there was no greeter and customers and employees were layered throughout the store. My husband found someone to ask for help who added us to a waitlist, but if we hadn't we could have been lost standing around for a while. The store itself is large and spacious. There are many long tables with various phones and models to check out. There are also areas separated for headphones and accessories, but nothing is clearly labeled so you have to figure it out like a character in a video game. It took a while to find the style and color phone we were looking to buy because of this. We waited about 25 minutes for service as they were pretty busy (surprising for a weekday) and the associate met us at one of the tables. He was kind and helpful, but didn't have the answers to all our questions initially so took some time to get help and transition us. However, he was very diligent to ensure we obtained all the service needed and made thoughtful recommendations. He even helped us begin the transition from our androids to i phone though it took forever to interface (obviously my opinions on this are phone and not store related so I'll stop there). Eventually he set us up and transitioned us to a waiting area where another associate waited to assist us. Overall, a very modern and spacious scene with lots of employees. I gave them less stars for the wait and the lack of clear directions within the store and to receive help. However, we had a good experience and the employee to help us was great. read more

Don't ask them for repair service. What they will do is to ask you for buying a new phone, not help you fix the problem or even simple diagnosis. They are useless. I reserved an appointment, and then go there 30 mins earlier. They told me they can only check me in 15 mins earlier even the store is pretty empty. Fine, I wait for 15 mins and check in. A tech guy came to me and ask me what's the issue - I can't start my iPhone, and apple icon is on and off repeatedly. This guy told me I only can help if your phone is in WORKING situation. If my phone is working, why I need their helps? They don't even try to diagnose if there is a component is damaged or something. They asked me to buy a new phone, and I need to pay more than 1k to save data by myself. I know it's not guaranteed they can fix my phone. But their attitude is I only want to earn your quick money. I don't want to waste my time to diagnose. After 3 hours, suddenly I can turn on my phone and I did full backup. Not sure if my iPhone will die soon. Apparently my iPhone is not 100% dead as the tech guy stated. The only option he gave me is paying them several hundred bucks and forget all my data. read more

I was in the store asking for help and at first they sent me to a vacant station with no help. I then asked again and it seem that I was bother. I did notice that I was the only African American in store and the others was of foreign origin that was actually being helped. there was quite a few agents available but everyone ignored me. Went in there a few days ago to look at the new Apple Vision product. There weren't many people inside and saw a few models up for demo. The demo's were secured in place and immediately upon finding that out I was approached by Tai the manager. I asked him what it does and he responds with, "What do you want it to do?" I withhold the retorts such a response deserves and tell him what I've seen in videos and he goes, "Nah, this does spatial computing" as if that answers the question. It wasn't long before I realize that Tai the manager doesn't know the product at all and is wasting my time. After 10 minutes he wasn't able to tell me anything about the product beyond the spatial computing line and tells me, "I don't think this product is for you." Perhaps that store is not for me and hopefully this review is seen by others to let them know this store is likely not for them either. Two stars because I was actually able to make a purchase but the process was not pleasant. The store appeared to be very disorganized. Lots of employees standing around talking to each other but it was hard to get anyone's attention. It appears to be impossible to just walk in a make a purchase. Appointments are required for even the simplest transactions. With one exception, the employees I dealt with (there were several) seemed to be lacking in simple interpersonal skills and appeared to be disinterested in dealing with customers. A lasting memory is of the young woman who handed me my new $1000+ phone. She just said "Here" when she gave me the box. No "thank you" or "hope you enjoy your new phone", just "Here". ZERO STAR The manager Eddie threaten customer & Zero skill to diagnose the tech issue & Zero accountability but just want customer buy more Apple products 11/22 I walked in today for seeking help to take a look at my mac book charger that recently stopped working. I bought a brand new MacBook on Apple.com over a year ago and I barely use it and mainly have it stayed at home as my secondary device. The stuff took my device and charger to the back room and came back told me I just need to buy a new charger for $130, but they didn't explained anything about what's the cause made the charger stop working. I feel frustrated that the store has zero interest or skill to find out what causes the charger stop working and give any exaplanation. Now knowing Apple's product can't even last even over one year with very minimal usage. I'm afraid to buy another new one, over a year or so it stops working again. The manger Eddie came and had no interest to double diagnose the charger issue but only stated it's outside of the one year warranty and you must buy a new charger. He said he has nothing to apology for the quality of their product! He threaten me that if I don't trust their product quality I don't need to buy their products and just leave! I have been with Apple products for 20 years. Based on other reviews here, now I am not surprise they hire unqualified staff, especially manager like Eddie who is extremely arrogant, no interest or skill to help customer to find out the cause of their product malfunction, but default to demand customer just buy a brand new one. If you question about their quality, he threaten customer with no accountability and compassion. Wow, my 1st time ever using Genius Bar yesterday. From the minute I checked in, I had a bad taste in my mouth. The dude was almost speechless when I checked in at 1. He said your appointment was at 12. I followed this up with, "Yes, it was but I rescheduled it to now because 12 no longer worked for me. " He then found my current appointment and kept saying but you had an appointment at 12 and it was rescheduled. It was as if, no one had ever rescheduled an appointment before?! Hmmm, maybe tech smart but no common sense, whatsoever. Got to my appointment and again, not pleased. They told me my phone was fine, even though I have had problems with it since November. Did a factory reset, said it was backed up and everything would come back... hmmm nope. Lost all my phone #'s from about the past 3 years, not to mention hours of reinstalling and signing in to all my apps. Today, I am struggling to pair my apple watch, which I am on hour 1 of. Moreover, what's so frustrating about this, is once I do indeed get a new phone I will have to do this all over again. I pay for insurance through TMobile. They said, before getting a new phone I had to go to Apple. The guy yesterday said, we just don't give out free phones! I don't want a new phone, I just want one that works. Sad to see that the score for this store is on the lower end. Could it possibly because people are simply not satisfied of the services Apple provides and couldn't get their way with the help of the folks here? That's the case for me at least, but the experience I had interacting with the Genius Bar here was good enough to warrant a higher rating. I've visited a few times here both before Covid and during Covid. Both times waiting for a technician took a long time. The first time me and my friend were waiting for quite a while after an employee told us someone would be with us. We nearly left. During my covid visit I made an appointment and was able to see a technician about 20minutes after my appointment time. In both cases the outcome wasn't really what we ideally wanted. The last time I visited it was for the delamination on my macbook display and because I was outside of the 4year anti glare program I would be charge hundreds of dollars to get this repaired. Regardless of that undesireable outcome, the gentleman who helped me and explained to me that there would be a charge most likely was very kind. I was speaking with him after closing hours simply because my genius bar appointment was booked close to closing and they got to me 20minutes late so I was definitely patient through the waiting but thankfully the technician also didn't make me feel like he was trying to push me away or finish talking to me in a rush of any sort. I would come back here for support and other Apple shopping needs. read more
