Extremely helpful and understanding employees. I am hopeless when it comes to technology and they were really willing to help. The guy who helped us, Mike I believe, stayed with us for about two hours and never did it feel like we were burdening him which is very hard to find in customer service these days. One thing to keep in mind though is keep in mind you might have to wait a little longer than your original appointment time. It isn't too big of an issue and is understandable when it comes to a place where they fix complicated problems. It also gets hectic in there. read more

The other day I turned on my computer, only to find a screen with a question mark. I then went to the Genius Bar, where Omar helped me. He ran some diagnostic tests, which indicated a hard drive failure--something that would be pretty pricey to fix. He said, "Wait, I'm going to go to the back to try something." He had a feeling about a cable in my computer. A few minutes later, he came out and said, "I replaced the cable, I think everything is okay now." He turned on my computer and everything was in fact okay. I was in shock. He even said he wouldn't charge me for the cable. So, this review is to say to the world THANKS OMAR. I went to get my iPhone 6s battery replaced yesterday. Despite having an appointment, I still waited on a long line. When I picked up the phone I had no battery left which I personally thought was ironic. When I got home, I charged my phone. When I went to sleep my phone was over half charged, I woke up this morning and my phone wouldn't even turn on it was THAT dead!! This battery is even worse then my original one. Hi All, This is to say big thanks and appreciate the way "RANSO" Manager at apple store spoke with me. I went to bridge water apple store 2 days back, for fixing my iphone 6 screen. But for some reason, they couldn't able to fix and finally they broke it. And the phone becomes inoperable. The technician have no idea and said, this will not work anymore, you can get the replacement set for 299$. Me and my wife felt very disappointed and left the place and then we were looking around internet for the solution. It is nothing but Error 53(some kind of security software pls google it). 2 Days later, today i got a call from Ranso, he said the notes was not clear and it was not communicated to customer properly by the technician (thats true), So they will replace the handset for free. OMG. I couldn't believe even if i fix the screen, i would have paid 109$, but now i got the replacement set for free. (Guys please don't misuse this store just because i got it for free, this person is amazing and we have to respect his kindness). Wow!!! You would think they had 1,000 customers at one time. I walk in, about 11:30 on a weekday. I did not have an appointment. I was immediately greeted and told since I didn't have an appointment they would text me in about 15-30 minutes (didn't seem to matter that they had a ton of "geniuses" around). I walked around the mall to pass the time...2 HOURS LATER I finally got the text. When I walk back in, it took them three minutes to tell me they had to send out my headphones. Honestly, they should have conferred with me to find out why i was there but insisted that I return. Awful awful experience. I guess my lesson is learned...always have an appointment, even during the week. read more

It took 2 hours to even get service. They would tell us someone would be right with us but preceded to wait over 20 minutes to even get any kind of service at all. Once someone talked to us they preceded to tell us the small fix would take another hour. For the amount people spend for apple it is ashame to see such poor service. read more

This Apple fell from the tree hard. Call first and be guided through a robotic answering service that is confusing and not helpful, so 80's. You will be left at a dead end on the phone. Then you will be put on hold waiting for a genius to answer. It is like waiting for food at the Donner party. Thirty minutes later I hung up. Buy your phones at Verizon and get your phone screen or battery replaced at any of the numerous stores that perform that function and live a happy life. Leave this place alone. read more

Went to the Apple Store at Bridgewater Mall today. Peter was very unhelpful. Told me to go to the Verizon store and replace the phone without doing any research or trouble shooting. I also brought in my Mac keyboard since three of the numbers aren't working. Again, no trouble shooting or suggestions for trying to fix the problem. Just told me it was $48.00 for a new one. My iPhone 5s couldn't start anymore so I made an appointment with genius bar. Rose was there trying several things with the phone and had to conclude that it can only be replaced. Since the phone has been with me for more than 4 years and way out of warranty, the charge for a replacement phone would be about $260. I was planning to buy a new phone but would want to buy a new iPhone X that's going to come out in 2 months. I wouldn't want to spend $260 for a phone only needed for 2 month. Rose said I can talked to her manager to see what they can do. Later she told me her manager agree to give me this one time replacement for free. They really make extra effort to make customer happy. Worst service I've ever had at an Apple Store. Waited for an extra hour after my phone was supposed to be fixed

I am an avid supporter of Apple, however I was upset during my experience at the Bridgewater apple location. I arrived to my genius bar appointment optimistic that someone would be able to fix my glitchy phone that was unable to make phone calls, support headphones, and even turn on sometimes. Unfortunately, I did not get the name of the man who was helping me but I will not forget how he acted towards me. He was unable to figure out what was wrong with my phone and thought that it was probably a software issue. He told me to restore my phone to its original condition and that it could possibly fix my issue. He turned off the phone and told me to let him know when it comes back on, he then proceeds to help other customers for 30 minutes even though I told him I was in need of assistance. He finally comes over and I informed him that I just remembered I was also having issues making some phone calls and his response, "you just remembered that?" was condescending and rude. He then tells me that the store was closing in 45 minutes and we definitely did not have enough time now. Maybe if he did not leave me during my appointment to help other customers we would have had enough time to solve my issues, or perhaps apple stores shouldn't make appointments that close to closing. read more

I came in on Friday when my phone kept rebooting. I was told I needed an update and that they could do so, but the wait time was over four hours. They told me to return in the morning as soon as the store opened. So, I woke up early on Saturday and headed over. I was seen within 45 minutes - but was told something completely different than I had been on Friday. I was told there was nothing that could be done and that they would need to restore my phone. I then panicked because that was not what I had anticipated and I was not sure what had been backed up and what hadn't. My interaction with the first employee on Saturday, whose name I did not catch, felt rushed and uncaring. I naturally met his flippant attitude in kind, but instead of taking the time to walk me through the steps, he passed me off to a woman named Ruki (sp). Thank goodness he did. Not only did Ruki explain what she was doing before she did so to my iPhone, but she also helped me locate my backup, explained to me how it works, and discussed my options in purchasing a new phone. Ruki herself deserves five stars and a raise! read more

BAD EXPERIENCE with Apple Store! My son (16 Y) brought his computer at the Bridgewater (NJ) Apple store for repair. It needs to be mentioned that he takes great care of his computer since he bought it with his money (These are expensive machines to buy-1300$). He brought the computer to the store since the USB port did not work and some other features were also not working. The technician told him that the computer was in excellent shape and that it seems that he was taking good care of it. Then he asked him to leave the computer for repair since it seemed to be an issue with the hard drive. He also mentioned that the hard drive was damaged it would be under warranty. Then 48 hours later he got a call that the computer had water damage and the repair (1200 $) was not covered by the warranty - My son was astonished since the computer barely leaves his room and that no water came into contact with his machine. He was not given any alternative than paying the repair or picking up his computer during the phone call. I decided to follow-up with the same store on Monday on my lunch break at 2:30 PM. I called the store and talked to a sales person named Ryan. He articulated to me that the water damage policy is a clear reason not to honor the warranty. Following this answer, I requested to talk to a manager and was told that none were available until 3:30 PM. I did leave my phone number to Ryan. I also mentioned during the call that the water damage issue seemed impossible unless the water sensor in the computer was sensitive to room humidity (humidity in the house varies from 30% to 70% during the year) or that the computer had received water damage at their store. After a rapid google search, It also appears that water damage appeared in numerous internet user groups in reference to the Apple Macbook Pro which triggered my curiosity. I did report this to Ryan who responded that I should not believe what is reported on the Apple User Group website since statement from Apple Users may not to be trusted. This statement puzzled me. As a conclusion, this leaves three possible alternatives: 1- The computer water sensor is sensitive to variation of humidity in the atmosphere and, conveniently for Apple, changes color after a certain period of time voiding the warranty. 2- The technicians of the Apple store carry some responsibility in the process (the motivation would be unclear) 3- An unknown factor is at the cause of this issue. At 3:20PM I got a call from Aaron one of the manager of the Apple store. I articulated the possible reasons for the issue (listed above). I asked him for data on the reliability of the water sensor and he clearly stated that he did not have data on this issue. Therefore, I articulated that there was no way to assess the reliability of the water sensor results, thus for the reason for voiding the warranty. Finally, after 15 minutes of sterile discussions, Aaron repeated that the warranty could not be honored since the technician found water damage and referred me to 1-800-Apple-Care (after I asked for the phone number of their headquarters). I have to admit that the perceived lack of interest for providing any kind of technical help was clear as well as the lack of concern for the student's hardship. I have been trying to call the 1-800 number provided, but the line has been busy for the last hour. I am not sure what conclusion to draw about Apple Customer Service and Warranty on this single experience, but I have no doubt on what my next computer will not be. read more

This Apple store is good, but they could not get my files from my hard drive after a computer crash. The Geniuses are very knowledgeable, they help you right away. I had to go there when my computer started acting wacky and would not boot anymore. They told me my hard drive malfunctioned and if I wanted to get the data back that I should send the hard drive to California for data recovery and it would cost 1000-2000 dollars. Ugh.. the data just wasn't worth that much. So they installed a new hard drive and re-installed the MAC OS and sent me on my way. However, when I went home I googled for data recovery in new jersey and so I called data recovery nj in Watchung NJ. They said they often get calls from apple store users. They quoted me 300-400, so they recovered my data for much less. I would give this Apple store five stars if it weren't for they tried to send my hard drive to California. read more

I'm happy to report that I had an excellent experience at the Bridgewater Mall, Apple and Verizon stores today. Apple fixed the screen on my son's Iphone 6 for $90 less than Assurion would, and having it repaired or replaced by Assurion would've voided the warranty on the phone with Apple. Even though Assurion is the company we have been paying for insurance for the phone all along! Lesson learned: Don't buy insurance on your Iphone from a second party company and don't go to the Clinton Verizon. Drive to Bridgewater. It's worth the trip! read more

I've been a loyal, happy customer of this Apple Bridgewater store for many years. In fact, I just spent thousands on McBook Pro view months ago. But my experience today has proven some of my other colleagues story about their bad experience as well with this store. I was sent by the Sprint store to ask for a SIM card and spoke with this lady name Rachel. She told me that Apple did not give or sell any SIM card to a customer if they not buy the phone directly from them. I told her that usually i have no problem asking for A SIM card but she determined that she will not give it or sell it to me and she said I should speak with the Sprint store manager to figure it out. So I spoke with the Sprint manager and he was surprised since he send many customer everyday for the SIM card with no problem. And sure enough, a white male also need a SIM card, he went to the Apple Store, and he came back with a SIM card. I asked him if they gave him a hard time about it, he said not at all, no questions asked and within 3 minutes he got his card. Knowing that, I came back to the store and spoke with a gentleman name Brett. Just like Rachel, he refused to give me the SIM card and told me about the same policy, but after I discussed about the male experience, he gave me the card. I've previously had positive experiences with the Apple store (though this was my first time here) but I was incredibly disappointed with my recent visit. I wanted to get my cracked iPhone 6 screen fixed and had to wait an hour, which was fine since I didn't have an appointment. However, once the tech finally came out to wait on me, she took one look at the phone and said she was 100% sure it could not be fixed. The phone was too bent. When you look closely there is a VERY slight bend, but I thought no way. I made her get a second opinion and she came back and said they can't fix it but she'd be happy to sell me a new phone. It REEKED with salesmanship, that she just wanted to sell me a new phone and would refuse to fix mine. I took my phone to a repair shop in DC where I live, and they replaced it no problem a few days ago. So far I've had no issues with it and it all works great. Very disappointed to feel such blatant selfish sales tactics taking place at Apple. read more

5 stars for Jason, the manager at the Apple Bridgewater Store. We went in to get my cousins phone fixed, just needed a new screen since it got cracked. First they told us that the phone was fine, it was working, and we even scrolled through and went thru the phone with the rep. The rep said it would be $109 and that they may, worse case scenario, loose the data if you haven't backed up the phone. So we agree they tell us it will take 1hr. Come back in an hour to wait another half hour only for them to tell us it's going to be $300. The phone didn't pass Apples standards during the apple test. THEN JASON CAME AND SAVED THE DAY. We not only had $300 nor were we happy customers. Jason saw our disappointment and checked into the problem. We got our ph back at the $109 +tax price quoted and he restored our faith in Apple. We also wound up buying a case to protect the ph. Jason was cool calm and understanding. He rocks. read more

After being there for 5 hours (2 of which was after the mall closed) the first day just to go home with the same phone that had the issue. then they put a phone on hold for me because it was technically already "registered" to me and that "all i had to was ask for the phone and get out" so i went back today a few days later and the same exact employees were there roaming around so i asked the one that mainly helped me last time and it took TWO hours to "find it" because it was lost..finally they found it after asking my last name 100 times. then i was in there for another 3 or more hours and they could not figure out why my iCloud wasn't backing my stuff up and i did a back up while another apple employee watched because i wanted to make sure i wasn't screwing anything up ..well it didn't work and they don't know why..still no explanation..anyways me and my girlfriend figured it out ourselves because the guy helping me left because he HAD to go on break and left me there wondering what was next my girlfriend and i even helped a few customers also frustrated by the extremely poor service provided i would say there were about 9-10 employees just standing up front near the standing "genius bar" instead of helping customers with appointments or with questions..overall terrible.absolutely terrible read more
