    My daughter needed a repair on her iPhone 14 Pro Max, we booked ahead so we wouldn't have to wait all day. We arrived on time and no one checked on us. We went up to someone just standing around and said we have an appt. He checked us in and told us to wait in the middle a tech will be with us shortly. We waited and we saw other people coming in after us getting helped, we also saw workers 3 or 4 with one person if not walking around doing nothing. The store was clean except for the obvious leak in the roof that made the ceiling very ugly and the flies everywhere. Once the tech finally approached us about 30 mins after our scheduled time, she was very helpful. My daughter left with her phone working as it should.

    Is there a worse experience than the craziness of an Apple store? I don't think so. Staff always seem overwhelmed and unavailable.

I have nearly 40 years of technical experience behind me and am competent enough to fix most computer glitches. However, this one was beyond even my expertise and abilities, because the file system was completely corrupted. How did this happen? There are lots of bugs in Windows 11, & when I did a system recovery, Windows corrupted the file system to the point of no return. I had most of my data backed up on a separate drive, but there was one file that was absolutely vital, because it contained information that was absolutely imperative to my business, as well as my personal affairs. I immediately got on the phone and called several computer repair services, but none of them suited my timely needs; i.e., I couldn't wait a week or longer. Then, I decided to try Yelp and received numerous replies, but only 1 really caught my eye; the one sent to me by Dominic Danko of GetItFixedAZ.com Dominic came to my house the very next day and was on time. Windows 11 was completely corrupted & needed to be replaced, but he was able to save that important file, which was a life-saver to me. After reinstalling Windows 11, he reconfigured my system & got me back on-line. Then, he helped me reinstall some old (but very important) programs that didn't function with Windows 11 & needed tweaking in order to make them work. Before he left, he also showed me how to access some hidden Windows programs with several tweaks that most people don't know about. I am thoroughly impressed by Dominic's knowledge & talents, his honesty & trustworthiness, & his geniality. His prices were extremely fair & reasonable, and he did everything he promised to do and more. He left me with his business card & personal phone number, which I shall guard with my life. If you are reading this review, Dominic, I wish to thank you once again from the bottom of my heart. I am truly blessed in finding you among the plethora of computer repair ads.

    Needed some quick troubleshooting done on my computer, Dominic responded quickly and came out…read morepromptly. He was helpful in both working around my environment as well as explaining what he was doing and what was going on. Will definitely use again when I have an issue. Very convenient having him able to come to my residence to work and not having to haul my computer around the valley.

I would think that employees would be more customer service oriented and appreciative of having a job at a brick-and-mortar location or any job at any location............and just appreciative that they have a job at all. I am in Glendale AZ and was at the Office Max location below: Office Max Store #6171 Store #6171 7974 WEST BELL ROAD GLENDALE, AZ 85308 (623) 486-2444 3:30 p.m. Mountain time on Wed, 4/9/2025. My husband and I came into the store to see if this location had a TSA Pre-check service (as some locations have discontinued that service). I asked the cashier (did not get her name) and she said they did have that service, but I had to make an appt. I asked if we could make that appt and she said "you have to make it on line, you cannot make it in person", I looked away at my husband and then she said..........do you want to know how to make it online? It wasn't "Well we cannot make it in person as you have to fill out an application online to reserve your spot" (giving me an explanation of why as that would have been nice to know details) The issue I had was the curtness and her attitude as if I was interrupting her when there was no one in the store). I was quite shocked...........to say the least. The attitude was not at all warranted nor was it provoked. I literally just looked at my husband (who was standing behind me away from the cashier) what happened to "Customer Service" There was literally no one in the store at all except 4 employees that I see up at the front of the store. Her attitude was one of......that I was interrupting her and pretty much made us feel like we were bothering her. I came home and called another location near me in Peoria, AZ and I was met with (on the phone) a very nice and giving employee that explained to me why I couldn't make an appt. over the phone or just coming in. Now that is an employee that is going places but the lady at the location above should not be in a customer service position. I did make an appt at the Store #6758 25340 N LAKE PLEASANT PARKWAY PEORIA, AZ 85383 (623) 376-2320 I believe that employee's name was Abigale that helped me on the phone and will go to Office Max again but Never to the location on Bell RD as this is not the 1st time that location has not been a place that I feel comfortable at (not welcoming AT ALL). The 1st time was awhile ago and didnt really think it would happen again but since it did, twice at the same location says alot for either the Management that employ's and trains and/or management themselves for not making sure "checking in" to make sure their employees represent the brand in a Welcome environment. I am sure that is what they get paid for, right?
