I have had an issue going on three months, working with Apple Senior techs and engineers along with my cell phone provider to no avail. I have a problem backing up my iPhone. Although I had plenty of space left on iCloud, my phone indicated that there wasn't enough room. I stopped by the Apple Store and a couple people looked at my phone. Neither was able to help me. The second person told me that in-store personnel are better able to solve hardware problems than software problems. The second person took my phone number and scheduled an appointment with an iCloud expert. The following day, that person solved my issue. read more

I had such a great experience with Jesse at the Arrowhead Apple Store. I had been struggling with an issue for over a month and had already visited the Apple Store twice before. I also spoke with both IT and Apple Support over the phone, but no one took the time to truly help me the way Jesse did. Went to this store on 8/6. After purchasing some apple ear pods thought I would upgrade my phone to the iPhone 17. The first associate was helpful. She explained the difference between the various models. The associate had a problem activating the phone with Verizon. This associate passed me to a more experienced associate who did little to help. I called Verizon and the phone tree was going to let me activate the phone. I asked the new associate I was handed off too and she said I could not activate the phone that way. She asked me to come back later and try and purchase the phone and activate it. I told her that was not possible. At no time did she offer to sell me a phone and let me activate from home. I subsequently went home ordered the phone from Apple online and it is being delivered from the Glendale store. I will know just mail in my trade in phone. I found the second associate not very helpful and not really wanting to sell a product. I would not recommend this associate to anyone and will not visit this store unless I absolutely have to. read more

Worst experience ever! Walk in, get assigned to a table where two other people are already waiting. After 20 minutes of not being helped and told it won't be much longer, someone walks up to me and tells me they need to move me over to someone else because the person I have been waiting for is now going to lunch. After another 20 minutes it's finally my turn, but no it really isn't because someone they brought to the table after me has been waiting for over an hour, so now it's their turn. 17 minutes later I let the lady know i have to leave for work in 8 minutes. I tell her I just needed to buy a new phone and ask if there is someone else who can help me. "No, you'll just have to come back later." Went to Apple Store-10.18.24: Called my Tmoble insurance a few days prior and made an appointment. It tends to stay pretty chaotic at that store. I arrived and took a few min to recognize whose an associate and once I did I have them my info and I was assisted post my appt. All went smooth. I was told to come back in about an 1hr or so, so I wondered around the mall. Came back and once it was ready, my phone screen was good as new! There was no catch or random upsell at the end. The attendee initially asked me if I reached upgrade my 15 (which I just bought March 2024), to the 16 and when I said no, he left it at that, a nice surprise. Appears there is literally no where else to review this Apple Store. (That I could find) Was hoping to go through more official channels than Yelp. But I said I would leave a review, so here I am. Cam, Marissa, and Jacob (along with whatever manager helped) are the reason my husband and I did not take all future smart phone purchases to Google. Cam was a wealth of knowledge and gave me multiple ACTUALLY useful tips, even changed my mind about apple care. (I am cheap and never buy insurance) Marissa is an octopus, greeted me while helping two other people simultaneously. And then 5 hours later help me (While again helping another person) with my device pick up and was a listening ear to my bitching. She also speaks spanish. You definitely don't pay her enough. And Jacob (I think that was the techs name) came out to deal with my frustration and help facilitate a solution. Apple in general has gone down hill. Gotten greedy. But the one thing they do right is their customer service. (At least in this store) Whatever these customer service employees get paid, they deserve more. Because it is THEM that sets Apple apart from its competitors. Your devices are loosing traction in this high speed tech world Apple. But your employees saved you. read more

I've been to the Arrowhead Apple Store several times now, both for purchases and tech assistance. I have got to give them 5 stars... especially the guys and gals at the Genius Bar. TIP: Don't go without an appointment!! Call or go online to make an appointment before you go. This store is always extremely busy, so 99% of the time they cannot "work you in." TIP: Even with an appointment, be prepared to wait a bit. As I said before, this store is very busy and no one wants to be the customer whose Genius says, "Sorry, time's up. I have another appointment." So be patient and kind. It's worth it. The folks working here are epic in their knowledge and treat each customer with respect and courtesy. They don't talk down to you, whether you're an 84 year old or an 8 year old. And in my experience, they always do their utmost to satisfy each customer's needs. read more

First time going to this location. It was busy and had plenty of staff. I booked an appointment but still had to wait. Outside of waiting, the service was great. The staff was helpful. I brought in two Ipads that wouldn't charge for some reason. One they were able to replace as it was under the warranty. The other they were not. They told when to expect the replacement and it arrived on time. I went in to pick it up. I was basically out the door in under 10 minutes. read more

My daughter needed a repair on her iPhone 14 Pro Max, we booked ahead so we wouldn't have to wait all day. We arrived on time and no one checked on us. We went up to someone just standing around and said we have an appt. He checked us in and told us to wait in the middle a tech will be with us shortly. We waited and we saw other people coming in after us getting helped, we also saw workers 3 or 4 with one person if not walking around doing nothing. The store was clean except for the obvious leak in the roof that made the ceiling very ugly and the flies everywhere. I had the best experience at the Apple Store today. I upgraded my phone to the new pink iPhone pro plus 15 and customer service was on point, store was busy but the service was great. The team work was phenomenal and they guided me through the process to update my phone and transfer all my data and information over and to ensure everything was backed up prior to transferring to the new phone. It was a smooth process and easy peasy! I have my new iPhone and happy as can be! Everyone that I interacted with was super friendly. Love that! Made an appointment and showed up 10 minutes early. I checked in and was told to wait in this area with chairs. I watched 7 people after me all get waited on and here I was still waiting. Finally 25 minutes of waiting and asked the guy that checked me in when it was my turn. He checked and said whoa someone checked you out of the system. He then said they must of looked for you and couldn't find you. I said don't be silly we are right here where you told us to wait and I have been watching people get taken care of all around me. I needed help because my iphone provider confused things so badly that neither my wife not I could make or receive a phone call. I was fortunate enough to be helped by a young man named Eli (or Ely). He was undoubtably the most helpful person I've ever encountered in any store anywhere! Extremely knowledeable, very caring, and he was working with about six of us at the same time. Always patient, always pleasant, and he was able to fix our problems very thoroughly. I can't say enough this young man. Rudest, most inconsiderate people ever met in a business. It's the only place in civilized society, other than sitting hours on a grounded airplane, where I have ever seen complete strangers bond collectively in mutual hatred so quickly. I set an appointment for a specific time to see someone at the "Genius desk" about a problem I was having with a new MacBook Pro, and arrived 32 minutes early... and checked in with one of their "greeters" -- whose tablet device was the only thing that distinguished them from those you meet entering WalMart. I was directed to a specific area to wait, sitting on a hard, back-less cube, sitting there balancing MacBook, iPad, iPhone... everyone seated around me looked unhappy. I waited for more 90 minutes past my appointment time, and finally approached one of the greeters to learn WHY no one had called me for my appointment. "You never checked in," I was told. BRAVO SIERRA. I called for another appointment once I called down at home (68 minutes from Glendale) and was given a new appointment... in 8 days. Going there, I checked in 24 minutes early and had my cellphone recording the encounter, clearly getting the greeter's name so no one could claim that I hadn't checked in. I waited more than an hour. No one called for me, sitting in the same place I had been directed to sit (for those with appointments). I approached the "greeter" about why I was waiting so long. I was told they didn't know why I hadn't been called, but was told they'd find out. For the next 71 minutes, I tried to catch the eye of the greeter as they flitted about the room, acting as greeter, salesperson, cashier, greeter, etc... but I couldn't catch their eye... even when I got up and waited while they were checking in others in front of me. When I was next in line, I asked why I hadn't been called-- and was given the same answer: "I'll find out." That was the last time I spoke with her. I waited until closing time. I asked to speak with a manager... and was told they would call me. Nope... they never did. My MacBook is essential for my work, both as a professional writer and photographer. At this point, the machine has been down inexplicably for 4 1/2 weeks... and I am beginning to resent the callous treatment here. I made a third appointment (silly me!) and went through the same steps as the previous two appointments. This time, I noticed that there hasn't been anyone at the Genius desk... as there hadn't been on the two previous appointments. I chatted with people sitting near me, some of whom were furious at the long waits, the b.s. about 'you never checked in', the apparent lack of staff in the store, and the blatant disregard for people who have waited far too long on uncomfortable seats. I waited patiently until I couldn't wait any longer, and approached the greeters again. "There's a delay, a lot of people in front of you, waiting, who also had an appointment. Why don't you go out and do some shopping...?" I left. They had lots of people running around selling stuff: really, there were several hundred customers who came in to buy stuff while a growing number of us were sitting unproductively. My new MacBook Pro still sits on my desk as it has for the past several months... still not working. Apple should change its logo for a slogan: "We don't care how you're treated as a customer: we don't have to." Note: a roommate went to the same Apple Store and had an almost identical experience as my previous three. Something is wrong with this Apple store: not sure if it's a matter of too many margaritas at lunch, or visiting the local green pharmacy too many times. Funny how there's never a manager available at these stores: obviously, no one wants to hear from irate customers how bad their customer service sucks. Customer service? My wife came to buy herself a a brand new computer and you sold her the exact same computer she had for almost 2 years. she's not well-versed with computers, but the employee should have been, and should have known what she meant when she said she wanted the newest one. My iPhone 15 Pro started turning off all on its own with a full battery. I drove to Apple arrowhead as this is my closest Apple store approximately 45 minutes away. When I get there, it was total chaos. It took some time before somebody greeted me and there was no signage on where to wait. I have been a loyal Apple customer for over two decades. I have never not been greeted the moment. I enter an Apple Store. In fact, usually they have people that are waiting at the door just to greet you and direct you to the right place. I explained to them what was going on with my phone. They immediately looked at the cameras and said oh you have water intrusion at the cameras. I said OK well the camera module was just replaced under AppleCare warranty less than three months ago. They told me no problem then you shouldn't have any issues. We're just gonna have to swap out the phone since there's water intrusion but since we're so busy, you'll have to come back in two hours. I said no problem. I drove home sat around for 30 minutes and then drove back. When I got there this time with the appointment that had all the notes in it. I had to explain everything all over again three times. I was then told I would have to pay a $99 deductible to get a new phone. I said absolutely not as this could possibly be a repair issue from less than 90 days ago. They verified the repair but told me that because there's water intrusion they have to do it this way. My problem is, how do we know that the previous technician didn't make an error when repairing the phone? Told by the store manager ( bearded guy) that all their repairs that are performed at every store across the world is perfect and they never make an error. Having been in highline automotive repair working for such brands as Mercedes-Benz Bmw and Land Rover. I can tell you that even our technicians make mistakes, and even when I can't prove that it wasn't us that made the mistake in the interest of customer satisfaction. I will cut the client a break. This guy stood his ground. Wanting to take the easy way out and just use my warranty that I pay monthly for and then charge me a deductible to boot rather than diagnosing the phone and figuring out why a phone with an IP68 waterproof to 6 meter for 30 minutes certification got water in it? I get it the phone got water in it but I take care of my phone. It doesn't get dropped. It's in a drop proof case that's good for a 20 foot drop and has a glass screen protector. There's zero physical damage on the phone. Why not take it in and just check to see if the other guy did his job, why not diagnose the phone ? Why not do your job?! because this customer doesn't feel that he did and this customer feels like he's unappreciated. Check my profile out I hardly leave reviews. I deal with Karen's all day long and that's the last thing I wanna be when I'm outside of work, but this is ridiculous. Have been here a few times and since it is in a crowded mall, it is almost impossible to get help soon. There is a long wait time always and it is not the biggest Apple showroom you would see, so it gets very clumsy sometimes in the crowd. I went in for a $69 battery replacement and Apple broke my phone! Jeez, I have totally lost faith and confidence in these "geniuses" at the Apple store. My iPhoneX battery was down to a maximum capacity of 59%. I scheduled a visit through Apple to have it replaced at the Arrowhead Apple Store. I waited for 2 hours, then they told me they couldn't replace the battery. They said it had something to do with the display. They wanted to charge me $299 to replace the display and of course $69 for the battery. I think that was the price, I was so pissed that I think I zoned out for the rest of my time there. They made it sound like there was some internal damage to my display. Well, the only time this phone was ever opened up was today when THEY did it! Any internal damage was done by them. As a result of them opening the phone, there is a gap that was not there before. It looks like the display is not completely sealed to the rest of the phone. I talked to the manager, Zack and he recommended against repairing my phone and wanted to sell me a new one. I was so aggravated, that I left. Now, I still have a phone with a bad battery and now with a display that is not fully attached. Is it time to check out Samsung? read more

The place is complete chaos. Nobody greets you, there is no signage to tell you where to go to ask a question. You are apparently supposed to wander around until someone notices you. I was there to ask a few simple questions and after 15 solid minutes without even so much as eye contact from an employee, I gave up and left. Not even thirty seconds should pass before a customer is greeted or acknowledged at a business. I know that they recommend appointments, but come on, the store is in a mall. Expect a certain amount of foot traffic! Besides, random foot traffic is an opportunity to sell the Apple universe to someone who might not already be in it. Why are they willfully passing that up? By the time I left there were at least four other people at the front of the store looking lost and frustrated. Even if they don't intend to coach their employees on what good customer service actually looks like, some signage and a waiting list would go a long way. read more

The Arrowhead Apple Store is our go to for and stuff including purchase and repair. We have Apple Care as our insurance on all our devices; earbuds,The techs have always been courteous and respectful and responsive. The only issue I have is that there is no quieter place to conduct business. I wear hearing aids and it is way difficult to hear in noisy environment. I did ask if their tech would wear a portable I can provide and that has helped. Overall the rating is 5 but dropping to 4 because of the noise. read more

Took my iPad in for "Genius" appt. Diagnostic showed battery was failing. They said I could pay the $179 battery replacement cost and they would order the replacement and notify me when it was available. I agreed and two days later I get an email with the following message: Thanks for bringing your Apple product to Apple Arrowhead for repair. Your replacement product is ready--you can pick it up anytime before Tuesday, April 01, 2025. If you can't make it in by then, contact us at (623) 707-2860 to set up a pickup plan that works for you. Please bring your original product with you when you come in for the replacement. I went to the store, said I was here for the repair replacement and showed my photo id. The sales clerk had the replacement, tried to scan the bar code numerous times and then explained that this replacement wasn't authorized. After much internal conversations and elevation to supervisors, they said that they would not honor the original order and would have to charge me $699 for the replacement! Talk about bait and switch! The supervisor said that they "never swap out new devices for a battery replacement issue". She said I would have to mail my iPad to Apple repair services if I wanted my battery replaced. She had no idea why my initial "Genius" contact would have offered to order a replacement for a simple battery issue and they would not honor the order receipt. The "supervisors" were unable to provide any explanation other than "our systems will not allow us to process your order." Please be wary of this Apple location, their sales clerks and supervisors are arrogant, not very knowledgeable and it appears no one has any authority to address customer service issues except to blame sales clerks or the limitations of their systems. Cannot in good conscience recommend doing business with anyone at this store. I would have give a rating of 0 stars if I could. Senior Apple management should be ashamed to allow this store to continue providing "Service" for their brand, disgusting. read more

I was not overly happy about the service I received at this apple store. I mean every single person it seems like in the entire world was at the store lol. It was so packed and it took forever for the people to get to me. I understand I have to be patient because it is the holidays and everyone loves going to the Apple store to purchase their gifts. But the fact that I had to wait almost 4 hours to me it's just completely unacceptable. Then when I find it was able to speak to someone the person that gave me seemed like it was their first day on the job and they didn't know how to answer any of my questions my iPhone was freezing and I was just asking them how I could fix it but they seem like they didn't know anything.
