So on Thursday I received a notice on my door that a package was left at this location and that I could pick it up! So I went in with the package slip, on Saturday, and they would not give it to me without an ID! There was nothing stating that I needed an ID and then when I came back in with my ID the girl said said there was no package there for me and "maybe " it was being delivered....I've had the notice since Thursday and it's now Saturday! Be wary of returning opened Amazon items that don't fit into their original packaging at this location despite Amazon option picked for UPS to pack and ship the items for return. This location refused to follow the directions and I complained to Amazon and they not once told me that was a requirement to return. This was the location me and my spouse used to go to due to ease of traffic and roads. However after today's experience I don't think we will be returning. My husband attempted to return an opened item that was vacuum sealed originally. The original plastic bag that was used to vacuum seal the item was too small to fit the item after it got inflated when taken out. We kept all original packaging, materials, and the item to return. UPS told him they wouldn't accept it despite selecting the option from Amazon that they will pack and ship it out. Both the manager and worker told my husband they couldn't after my husband explained there was no possible way to fit this back into the original packaging because it was vacuum sealed! It was way too big to fit it in. They told my husband to try to fit it back into the broken vacuum sealed bag even though logistically it was not possible while other people were staring. This whole entire process was humiliating for him and no apology or understanding was given. It also came with another bigger plastic bag and my husband was able to fit the item in there and they STILL WOULD NOT ACCEPT IT! They also told my husband if we packed it in a box they will take it even if it wasn't in its original packaging which makes zero logical sense vs them packing it the same way. Amazon would have refunded us regardless and they still refused to do it. Do better people, the management at this place freaking sucks! It's completely unacceptable not to accommodate this especially when the option for UPS to pack and ship it was the option we picked. You could have easily put it in a shipping box and ship it the hell out when we picked this option. The sheer ridiculousness of this situation is abysmal. FYI, I took this to another UPS location and they had zero qualms of taking the item back to return. No questions, no conflict. Just a receipt and on my way out. I got my return easily. With my already stressful move I trusted this store to come through for me and care for my items. They did a horrible job with packaging my items and this is how I received my box. Walked into the store with my prepackaged return item. The sticker on the return package clearly states that it can be returned through postal service or via ups store. The man that helped me, older gentleman, didn't have name tag, refused to return my package and claimed it was for the postal service, after reading the return sticker that clearly states it can be send from a UPS store he again refused to return my item and said he recommends me to leave? I have always used this ups location because it's near my house. I will possibly give it one more shot, with hopes I can speak to a manager about this. Super convenient location located off 75th x Thunderbird. Plenty of ample parking. Clean entryway and clean location. Only stopped here as I had a pre-paid UPS parcel to drop off. There was only one other person in line. Employees were friendly, efficient and helpful. My parcel was scanned. I was handed a receipt with tracking number. I hit the door and left. Not sure how you're capable of having a 1-star review at a UPS store, but to each their own, I guess. read more

I called this morning to inquire about a possible prorated refund on a box I rented for a side-gig business I created. I've paid rent on the box for 8 months, maybe receiving 1 piece of mail the entire time. I had zero issue fulfilling my contract, but when I tried to explain to SHERRY how I was unemployed, and completely broke, so I just wanted to make sure I couldn't get a partial refund, she just started laughing at me like I was joking. I paused, because it was completely inappropriate, but she continued to giggle, which of course just irritated me further. I ended the call with "fine, see ya' in August," as that's the contracted end date. The lack of compassion was appalling. I called back to get the owner's name which apparently is HARJEET. In speaking to her, she tried to tell me I didn't just hear exactly what I heard - of course, in defense of her inappropriate employee, which of course irritated me further. Then she even refused to give me her last name! LOL This place is a complete joke! STEER CLEAR!!!!!!!!!! There are so many other options . . . you've been warned! FYI - SHERRY totally confirmed they would've re-rented my box even though I was already paying for it had I chosen to "close it" before the contract was up, instead of keeping it open. This is called "double dipping," and I'm betting it's quite illegal! Who knows if that's what they are really doing, as SHERRY didn't seem too bright, but maybe someone should look in to how they are managing their box rentals! read more

I had a LOT of large boxes to drop off. A nearby UPS location said they would not be able to take that many large boxes and sent me away. I drove to the UPS hub on Grand Ave. to drop them only to find that the Customer Service Counter is now permanently closed. Ugh! Try #3 - I hesitantly went to the 75th Ave & Thunderbird location to see if they would help me. They greeted me with a smile and a heavy duty dolly to haul my boxes inside. How refreshing to find customer service these days! Thank you for saving me and doing it with zero hesitation. I wish I had gone to them first. Went to mail out an important document and was refused. She asked me what was in the envelope and I let her know it was documents. She said she doesn't send out important documents unless I send it out a special way costing me $50 because she would be liable for it if it gets lost. I went to this store today to find a box for some things I am taking on a plane. While I was there I thought I could just mail my 6 inch by 9 inch padded envelope. Inside were some small paper craft supplies that I was sending to my grandkids in Idaho. The envelope weighed 1.2 oz. I told the woman working that the value was ONE dollar. She told me it would cost me $18 to send This person needs to be retrained. OR this store is making a killing on mailing things for the USPS. I'm honestly astonished how bad the service is at this UPS Store, but not always...there is a level of consistency among all the employees that work there. Every employee is nice, friendly and helpful...except one. I've been to this location at least 30 times to return Amazon packages. I've witnessed the middle eastern women who works there putting the screws to other customers and I was lucky enough to be the recipient of it today. It's not that she's rude, quite the contrary actually...she's very friendly while she's citing policy that prevents the delivery of good service or quoting an additional charge for a miniscule service. It's very obvious that she secretly enjoys disappointing customers and finding new and creative ways to tell the people she is supposed to be providing service for to go screw themselves. Today, there happened to be a wrinkle in the tape preventing her from scanning the bar code on my return package. Instead of keying the number and creating another label for me, which other employees have done on several other occasions, she wanted to charge me $3.00 additional. This lady offered no alternative, no helpful advice and no apologies. She simply quoted policy and smiled when that rush of endorphins came from telling her customer to take a hike.
