Was not sure why the store has muscular bouncers outside, now l know why. I was promised to get a replacement watch on the phone and when l got to the store, l was not even given a chance to explain. Instead the rude agent spoke to me outside the store and said we do not offer such service and that l should call client services. Come on apple let's take our discussions inside and not discuss personal issues outside your store. When l said l was not happy with the inconsistent message between the store and the call center the bouncer suddenly appeared flexing his big muscles. Wonderful experience... my iPhone refused to charge , I contacted and was happy to learn the phone was still under warranty, I was informed there no available this day , however the representative suggested I visit a store as a walk ... great suggestion. I chose the millennia location, arriving at 11 am ... greeted at the door and had an appointment at the Genius Bar scheduled for 12 ... at 11:50 I received text to check in ... again greeted by wonderful young man ... Rob Bartlett . Who then passed on to the "genius" Marco solved the problem in the most professional manner, took the time to fully clean and brought my phone life !!! I have literally been here for over 4 hours to get a tech at the Genius Bar, and finally got a tech to help me. I am now trying to pair my Apple Watch with my iPhone and for some reason, they are taking me through loops as if they don't know what they're doing ! Very disappointed and I certainly recommend you avoid this store. I drove 30 miles for a screen repair, to be told there was a 20 minute delay, which didn't seem bad. After 30 mins I was then told they weren't close to seeing me, and that instead of taking 1 hour to replace the screen, it would take 2. My trip was wasted as I could not wait that long and had to abandon my appointment. Furthermore, to compound the inconvenience, some of the staff were rude and arrogant. The service and attitude provided is not representative of the ethos that Apple claim to foster in their workforce. The customer is clearly an inconvenience to these staff, and looking at all the miserable customers' faces while sat around, I imagine I wasn't the only one messed around. The worst of the worst apple store, stay away from this one, yesterday I ordered a new iPhone, scheduled to pick up by 5:15 - 5:30 pm, that was a gift for someone that was flying out the next day first time in the morning, when I arrived there, the manager Rebecca told me that I have to contact, the 1800 my apple, because there was an issue with the order, I did have no clue what was going on, ending in it was an apple issue, on their end and, the manager didn't want to deal with, so her solution was, "if you need the phone today, you have to pay it again, and then deal with apple tomorrow" wait, deal with who? are you apple, why I have to deal with another apple, so basically she has the phone there but, she didn't want to deal with the issue because it was late, so she kindly ask to step out of the store and speak with "apple" outside, because she needs to close the store, from my view she took the money and did not gave me the phone, that is stilling, sorry Apple but you guys have to tread very different the customers. read more

My daughters iPhone has the camera shake issue! Arrrggggh. I couldn't make an appointment for many days and it seemed weekend appointments were rare if any. We braved it and went on a Friday night. They do have a good process where they'll text you when it's your turn so you can go and eat or browse the mall. All in all everything worked out great for us with this repair experience. We've been to this location several times and it's always consistently busy but consistently great with the service as well. read more

I don't know if it's the employee we have to "check us in" or not. But their service is TERRIBLE. I checked in for my 545 apt at 535 and was told he couldn't help me until closer to my appointment. Ok, cool. Asked if he checked us in he said yes. Sat there for OVER 30 minutes when I finally asked someone else when I would be helped. He asked what I needed, ALL I NEEDED WAS TO PAY FOR MY APPLE CARE. He said we were in the wrong place anyways and then lead us to another area. Walk up dude tells us it's going to be 10 minutes or so until I can help you. To the guy wearing the gray shorts with polka dots, Nike glasses, and brown hair and eyes. You need to step your game up, you wasted an hour of my life I can never get back due to your incompetence. Even your coworker was ticked at you and said he was going going to make sure this feedback made it to the proper levels. Apparently this wasn't the first time you wasted people's times. read more

I cannot begin to explain my hatred of this place. The only Apple product I own is an iPhone 4 and maybe an old iPod, somewhere, underneath my sofa. Every single time I come to this store and any other Apple store, the customer service I receive is abysmal. First of all when I walk in, it's like a nightmare. I get very claustrophobic and this store always seems to be at max capacity. I swear to god they are violating some fire codes or something by cramming that many people into a space so small! The service is painful. Not just "terrible" but PAINFUL. Pretentious hipster is pretty much a pre-requisite to be hired here. Not only that, but they can't even seem to keep track of appointments with all of their supposedly "high-tech" iCrap gadgets left, right, and center, because when I got there and finally tracked down the hipster with the queue-ing device in hand, and told him I was ready for my appointment, he somehow ended up cancelling my appointment by mistake instead of putting me in the queue for service. My boyfriend and I literally waited 45 minutes before I finally had him go up and confront said hipster. The guy claimed that his iPad "crashed" and that's why my appointment was deleted. Wow. Apparently he made some excuses and then roughly 8 minutes later, I was approached by some random guy who merely asked what was wrong with my phone. He did not introduce himself. He was not friendly in any way, shape, or form. I told him that about 4 days ago I tried updating my iPhone's software with the latest update and it told me to plug it into iTunes. So I did. Nothing happened. No updates. Instead, the thing apparently went into recovery mode and deleted all of the stuff from my phone. Instead of talking with me or performing tests or whatever he basically just said "OK OK I'm just going to give you a new phone." He was extraordinarily brief which I suppose is a blessing in disguise. It meant that I could get the fuck out of the crApple store faster. Whew. No more triple D breasted chicks nearly KO'ing me with their tatas and quad-strollers full of screaming children. Seriously. Breaking. Fire. Codes. Another 15 minute pass, and I am about to pass out from a panic attack. Was about to go sit outside of the store when Sean finally points out that the guy is returning. Stick-up-the-butt man hands me a new phone and asks if I know how to activate it. I begrudgingly informed frowny-faced hipster (didn't know his name, remember?) that this was now my fourth iPhone. Yes. They've broken that many times and I get a new one every damn time. He simply said, "Oh good, then you know the deal by now." And he got up and left. Literally. Not even a "thanks for stopping by" or "let me walk you through this just so we're on the same page." Nope. Polished chrome does not a good business make. Nor do pretentious ass-wads, in fact. God I hate Apple so much that after my contract is up with Verizon, I swear to the powers that be, I will NEVER AGAIN purchase another goddamned shitty apple product ever. EVER EVER EVER. So I found out the hard way that certain Macbook Pro models have a known issue wherein the heat from inside the chassis can cause weld issues over a period of time, causing the machine to go tits up when you least expect it. This is a work machine for me and my only means of being productive, so after determining the problem and finding out that it will be fixed for free, I went online to get an appointment. The first available appointment was for a WEEK AND A HALF LATER. That's just crazy. So I called someone I know, an Apple employee, and asked what my options were considering there was no way I could wait 10 days to get this in for repair. He said they had a relatively new walk-in queueing system, so I could try to go in as a walk-in and get help. I did just that, and after a 90-minute drive to the Apple Store, I gave my information and was told that the current walk-in wait time was about 8 hours. Thankfully, they had implemented a text messaging system and the employee told me that when my time slot was approaching, I would get a text message recommending that I come back to the store. So I got some lunch and went home and started setting up a temporary development environment on my (ugh) Windows desktop. Eventually (only about 4 hours later), I got that text message. Gathered up my gear and drove all the way back to the store. I arrived, waited a little while for help because they were obviously busy, and when I got to talk to someone, he told me the news that I SHOULD have been told before I left the first time: currently, the queueing system sends that text message at a predefined time -- exactly halfway to the expected time. So with an expected wait of 8 hours, the "come back, you're almost up!" text message will be sent after only four hours. It was a new system, I get that. And for more "normal" wait times like 30 minutes, saying to come back to the store after 15 minutes makes sense. But coming back 4 hours early for an 8 hour wait does not. So it turns out I had a LOT more waiting to do, but I wasn't going to drive all the way home and back again, so I sat in the mall like a weirdo doing nothing until I just decided to sit at a bench in the Apple Store and wait for my time to come up. Now, once I got to where I was talking to someone, things picked up quickly. I dealt with a couple of people due to the severity of the problem, and they were very understanding as to the importance of the machine to my livelihood, and they apologized profusely for the wait system, which clearly still has kinks to be worked out. I ended up getting the laptop back slightly ahead of schedule, and someone sat with me while I verified that everything was working as expected. The fact that it happened to be a free repair (with a $600 price tag canceled out) certainly eased the pain for me. While I was there, I was going to pick up a BT keyboard, but after the guy went to help someone else, I realized that it was going to be more trouble than it's worth to find someone to ring me up, so I decided to just buy it online instead. read more

I understand it's not the store's fault it's always crowded and annoying. There just aren't enough locations to thin the herd. My complaint is with service... I went in here today to find some Garageband software. I had to flag a kid down to inquire into the stock status because they hide this type of software now. 5 minutes later the kids emerges to tell me that they are out of stock. Okay, this happens. But the kid didn't offer to help me track it down elsewhere. I asked him to contact the FL Mall location and he said he could only give me their number. I asked him to call them for me, and he said (and I quote), "It'd be better if you called them." WOW. If this is standard practice, then it's a new low for Apple customer service. I drove all the way out here, and I can't even get a simple act of courtesy like a 10 second phone call to your sister store? Most shoe stores go through that much effort. Now this is a story all about how my iPhone started acting crazy... lol. It just stoped charging and I was rather upset as we were on our way to universal to spend a magical day in Diagon Alley. We popped in and found the store packed, however, there was only an hour wait. We noodled about and grabbed a bite to eat and sooner than expected received a text telling me it was my appointment time. After running some diagnostics and seeing that my phone was terminally ill, I was given a new phone. Fortunately for me, I also found out that it was the very last day of my warranty! Wheewwww! I walked in at 4:30 on a Thursday to get my phone fixed because it had a cracked screen, was told to walk back to a tech with an ipad. After I had told him that I needed this repaired, he told me I had to make an appointment for Monday or come back at 9:30am to get in line the next morning. I was so deflated, with my phone broken and only getting worse, and my hours drive there with traffic, the last thing I wanted to do was come back the next morning. So Friday morning I got up and made my way back to Millenia. Got there and ended up hanging out at Starbucks because I got there way to early (I come from Hunters Creek, and was planning on traffic). 9:30 I made my way over to the store, no one was there yet as it got closer to 10 o'clock groups just started standing in front, again I thought "Oh no, I am now going to waste half my day waiting around." The security guard, called me over and said you stand right here, I saw you waiting - I couldn't believe it! I was so relieved, I made my way into the store when it opened and 50 minutes later my phone was fixed! I think apple should leave some spots open because cracked phones are no joke, I kept getting glass shards in my fingers when I would try and pick up a call. The reason it got 3 stars was because of how great the security guard was! He was great and truly more than a security guard, such a great apple employee - if he would only train some of the other staff. read more

I personally have had my ups and downs with the ipod franchise, but going to the apple store and getting to check out the new ipods is pretty cool. But the apple store isn't just for ipods and computers...oh no.... The Good: Get your stuff fixed:The main draw of the apple store has to be the repair center where you can get your mac or ipod serviced. Accessory heaven: Whether you want some spiffy earbuds, a docking station or some speakers, the apple store has certified equipment that you can really use (instead of just guessing about compatibility at one of the big box stores) The Bad: It's Apple: Apple has a reputation for being overpriced, updating it's products waaay too often, and charging way too much for repairs ($80 for a replacement battery?? I have had a love/hate relationship with all 4 of my IPhones. When they work its great...when they lockup during an update...well its just horrendous...I have had to visit the Genius Bar more times than I can count with one of the family's 3 IPhones...so I can't imagine living in a city without an apple store. I hate having to make an appointment...often for the following day...because their genius crew is already booked up. I hate getting to a jam-packed store full of teens playing on the latest gadgets n not being able to find anyone to check in with... I understand the concept of having current customers passthru the gauntlet of gadgets...marketing! Once at the genius bar they have always been helpful and professional. However, they usually just end up replacing the phone...then I have to go set it up and sync it to ITunes. I really wish it was easier to get product issues resolved quickly! TL;DR: Friendly service but chaotic layout and long waits. But they have the products you want! My wife and I ended up here after a long issue with Verizon trying to upgrade our phones. We called first looking for the newest iPhone and William on the phone was fantastic. He quickly located what we were looking for and empathized with our issues with Verizon. However, Apple's reservation service was down and his manager refused to hold the phones for us despite it being their issue. William was very apologetic and did his best. When we arrived, the store was chaotic. It was difficult to find out who we had to talk to and where we had to go. We "checked in" and were told to wait for an associate to help us, only to have that associate walk us 15 ft away to wait in another line for another associate. After 30 minutes we finally talked to Carlos who ended up being super helpful in getting us our phones and setting everything up. It took us nearly 3 hours for this entire process though. Apple has an inefficient system, but great service people. If it wasn't for Carlos and William, we would not be back unless absolutely no way the choice existed. read more

Unfortunately, rather than notifying her that not only do these not come with a adapter to plug into the wall, but apparently a special one has to be obtained. They only cared about the sale, and not how awkward she now feels about giving a present that cannot even be used! She will be returning these. I have tried to negate how awkward and bad she feels, but still she broke down; trying to do something special turned into a bad memory thanks to the "salesman " at this store. This review is not about the product but this STORE in particular. I am a true apple product user and a firm believer as a purchaser of ALL of their products. That being said my brother recently graduated from college and as a gift we as a family pooled together so that he can get his very first mac book pro. As we were in Orlando today, I dragged him to this store, and told him to go and get his computer. We walked in the store and boy was it crowded, I believe they were going to start a workshop there so there were a lot of people in the store. The first person we walked up to, my brother said hey I am here to pick up a Mac book, and before he could finish his sentence, the guy turns around and says um I am not the person to talk to about his I handle iPods only ?? Can we please make our way towards those guys (points at them) and they will be more than happy to help you out (all the while holding an iPad in his arms!!). We then walk over towards these two "guys" and my brother opens his mouth about the purchase, one of them jumps in & says here log in here and sign up on this sheet, we are heading for our lunch break and will send in someone later. Least to say NO ONE came by, my brother grumbled and said at least at best buy they avoid eye contact, and wanted to get out of there. I was shocked, I know that the guys at the Brandon Mall as well as Florida Mall treat anyone like they deserve at least some respect. I don't know what pep talk the specialists got that day, but they lost my brother to other stores. read more

If you don't own a Mac, you should. What in blazes are you waiting for cat daddy? I've been coming to this store since it first opened. They recently expanded their real estate and the store is now twice as big and twice as busy. Finding a free employee can sometimes be difficult, especially on the weekends. Tourists tend to make it difficult for the locals - oh you crazy Brazilians!!! This is a place to come test drive computers and laptops. I personally recommend first surfing the website for the object of your desire. Then coming to the store for some hands-on time. Then order your product online and have it shipped to your door. If you are a Mac aficionado, you tend to want a specific configuration and amount of RAM, which is easily tailored when you build and purchase it online. Trust me. If you are a student, even better! Apple discounts items for college students. This location is a goldmine for accessories - especially for iPhones & iPads. The walls are a vast array of never-ending accoutrements. The employees are always very helpful and all of my purchase experiences on the premises have been satisfactory. I was especially impressed with their speaker selections for iPods and iPhones. Nothing is cheap but with Apple products, you pay more for quality and definitely get it. read more

I love my Apple gear, and I love to visit the Apple Store at Millenia. But because of the volume of traffic, service is sometimes confused. If any store could use a take-a-number system, this would be it. I visited today and the service was sufficient. But I've had bad experiences as well. The worst was when I invited a couple of friends out to lunch, but told them I had to make a quick stop by Apple Millenia. I found the item I wanted and found a person to check me out, and my card was declined. My friends were with me and it was humiliating. I should have had the good sense to ask them to please try it again. Instead I left there thinking I had become a victim of identity theft. The next day I tried again, and all was well. The person who helped me said that the other salesperson probably wasn't that experienced with the portable swiper. The crowds here are always massive! Up until today I was so terrified to make a purchase here because I thought it would take forever, but that was not the case. I was helped immediately by a friendly associate whom, I think, was more excited than me that I'd be taking a sim-free phone to Australia - and I had my new phone in hand and paid for within ten minutes. No need even for lining up at a cashier, they've got payment capabilities synced up with their phones. Four stars because yes it's still crowded. I am a total apple fan and enjoy their products very much but visits to this store always is a love hate affair. Every time I go to an Apple store I want to walk around... check out all the items... maybe even play with some of the products. Sometimes I can do that but at this store at the Millennia Mall, you just can't. Every time I go to this store, it is packed with tourists and/or people who are way too needy. They seem to have a lot of staff but everyone is always busy. I am glad Apple is doing so well, but this particular store always feels like the store in NYC... way to small and way to busy. So I always end up looking on line for what I want... and then running in, grabbing what I want, and getting out as fast as possible. I can't really enjoy the store due to the crowds. Other Apple stores are busy, but never like this one. The other two stores in the Orlando area are not this busy but are a bit farther for me to travel to. But I will say that the staff members I talk to try to always be nice and always try to be friendly even if they are being attacked all day long. I have had to bring my desk top and lap top here for service in the past but that is a whole other review! All in all, the store is good but just expect plenty of people and give yourself plenty of time to get what you need. read more

The largest Apple store which I had ever seen. The staff are friendlier and more knowledgable than other Apple stores also which is great. I highly recommend this place over any other location. I recently moved out of the country and while overseas my iPhone started having major issues. I was flying into Orlando for a few days and was looking for a warranty repair. When I arrived I was initially told that there were no appointments available, but I explained I would be leaving the country again and asked if there were any way I could be seen. Some people were late to an appointment time and they saw me right away. They replaced my phone in no time and I was on my way. I left a super happy customer and even picked up a few other random things on the way out. read more
