    Old iPad, new iPad and pen

    A really BIG thanks to Tim, Alex and Jamie! These guys are the true rockstars of this Apple store. Walked in the night before to see if I could trade in two OLD iPads for a new one. I was told yes. My husband and I planned to return the next day and we did. I chose my pretty rose gold iPad air. Ran into a problem; one of my iPads was a breeze to erase and shut down. The one that was much older had not been touched and therefore, that passcode was wiped from my memory. I was blessed with my own little team of techs that were very patient and worked tirelessly trying many different ways to erase and shutdown the iPad using the computer. Nothing worked. I was only able to trade in one iPad and left stuck with the other one. I still left happy because of the quality of caring service that I received in this store from Tim, Alex and Jamie.

    Who does not Like the apple Store I sure love it and yea there was a huge line to get in but my friend was in a hurry that she went through the side and got a keyboard for her wife's iPad it was fast in and out

    My Mac Air computer screen broke 6 weeks after I bought the device, cracked when my husband picked it up, no accident, no one damaged it. It just cracked. So we made an appointment at an Apple store 45 minutes away and drove out for our 3:20 appointment. It didn't go well. I left in tears, but my husband stayed to sort things out. The initial wait, even with an appointment time, was awful. I'm a cancer patient and I was a nervous wreck waiting in line for over 30 minutes outside the store, in a crowded mall, with people walking by, some with masks pulled down, and others crowding me in line. I'm retrospect, I should have stayed home, since I wasn't needed. I went out to my car after we were in the store for 10 minutes. My husband took over and worked with a salesman and the manager to try and resolve the issue of a screen that broke through normal use, 6 weeks after I bought the nearly $1,000 device. I will never go back, but thankfully I won't have to. My husband agreed to drive to the store in 5 days to collect my computer with a new screen, a screen that costs nearly half what I paid for a new computer. We've been an Apple family for 20 years, but I'm done with Apple after this computer. This was a terrible experience and Apple has definitely lost a customer.

    I The cord for my iPhone charger no longer works well Apple replace the cord for free?

    I've never heard of Apple giving anything for free. Your best bet besides going to the store and asking is to download the Apple Support app and ask there.

    Absolutely the WORST T-Mobile store I've ever been in. WORST customer service. WORST knowledge of…read moreproducts. I walked in on Feb. 19 to pick up an iPhone I purchased online. Salesman (unfortunately I don't know his name) brought the phone out to me, asked for my id and proceeded to open the phone. He asked for the phone i was trading in and started moving EVERYTHING over to the new phone. I asked him to stop because i did NOT want everything moved to the new phone. He said it has to be that way "that's just the way it works ". I said no that's not how it "works". I explained that in the past i was able to decide what I wanted to transfer to the new phone. He proceeded to tell me how many years he has worked there and that what I wanted was impossible. He said "it's all or nothing, so you'll lose your contacts" I never heard anything like that before and this was my 12th iPhone purchase but the first at that store. He took over the phone began uploading the old phone to the cloud, it was taking too long and I'd been there 30 minutes and I didn't want to be there another 30 or more. So I asked him can I just leave with my old phone and finish the cloud uploading then come back with the phone in the evening. He said no. "Unfortunately it's now or never." I said what does that mean? He said if you don't leave the old one for the trade in now you will have to mail it back in. The whole interaction was frustrating and so time consuming! I realize that's his job and he has to be there 8 hours, but it's not my job and my time is important! I agreed to just mail it back and leave. He then said BTW I noticed your in an old magenta plan and I have one that much better for you. I said what's the difference between what I currently have and what you are offering. This guy just says "EVERYTHING about this new plan is better, and it will save you money" he never did say exactly what was better tho. This guy was like a bad car salesman. I said No I don't want to switch plans. Im fine with what we currently have. Could not wait to get out of there. I finished the iCloud upload on the old phone, went to a different T-Mobile where I asked can I turn phone in and they said yes of course, you have 2 weeks to bring it back. I explained the experience I had in the Orland store and they told me the salesman was wrong/lied. Then they looked at my plan and said they could see the purchase and where it was made and the NEW plan I was in. I said NO, I am in an old plan and I said I did NOT want to switch plans. They said okay well that salesman put you in a new plan. I had to call TMobile and explain the whole disastrous experience at the Orland Park location. The rep was very helpful and straightened it out for us but I did tell her it's the last time I get my phone at TMobile , from now on I will go back to buying directly from Apple! Time is money, and the Orland Park T-Mobile location is a gigantic waste of time and not deserving of spending your money there!
